We had a wonderful time at Jack's place. The home is beautiful, roomy and clean. The neighborhood is nice and quiet for walks and there was a fenced in yard for our dog. We enjoyed delicious coffee ie. nespresso and pour over with great coffee options. Beds were comfortable. A written instruction manual would be helpful for the home. We would have benefited from add'l kitchen items ie. espresso cups, toaster, salad bowl and wine glasses. (there are tumblers but same ones used for water etc) Lamps and night stands in bedrooms as well as night lights for the bathrooms at night would be helpful. We enjoyed a fire in the fireplace but had to bring our own wood. The window cranks could use some repair. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would go again! Jack communicates well and quickly.

The house worked great for our big group! There was plenty of beds and space. The three bathrooms were great to have. Recommend staying here if you have a bigger family or group!

Very nice house with lots of room to spread out. The tv room was our favorite. Clean bathrooms and comfortable beds. The location is not far from grocery store, hiking and wineries. It snowed the night before we left and we were nervous about going down the steep road but the neighborhood does a great job plowing. We really enjoyed our stay!

Our host was absolutely the most friendly and helpful person! I was staying in Westbury without a car and he was kind enough to offer occasional rides nearby. The place itself was very nice and cozy. It is a very quiet and private area behind his main house so he was accessible most of the time if needed. If he was out, he communicated immediately with us whenever we had a question. I would overall recommend his place and would stay again.

The unique home was a truly amazing experience. The grandchildren loved the yard. The porch was a peaceful gathering place or a serene place to just think or write or just sit and enjoy. A short drive brings many things to do or see. The piano was amazing. The artwork and history contained in those walls was a bonus gift.

This was by far the best place I’ve stayed in. The home was beautiful, clean and spacious. Robin was an excellent hostess.

We were there for work. The house was perfect. It had everything we needed, a full kitchen with so many useful tools, a separate bathroom for each one of us, a great room with a fireplace that heated the house and gave a wonderful ambiance to relax. It is located conveniently close to a major highway. The grounds were so beautiful, I can only imagine what they look like in spring and summer. We kept to ourselves while staying there but she was very welcoming and wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

This was such a great stay! The apartment looked just like the photos and was extremely clean and comfortable. I had no problems with my stay and the apartment is located in a great neighborhood. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. It was less than a ten minute walk from multiple bus routes that all went into the city. Sal let me drop off my bags before check in which was very helpful! Overall, it was a great stay with a great host. I would highly recommend staying here!

lovely place in great location. stream just behind the house. really easy instructions to get in. a bit of road noise in the front bedroom but not too intrusive.

Lovely quiet, pet-friendly place above the garage but note that there is a steep staircase to get up to the second floor. Very friendly hosts - greeted me on arrival and had left the door unlocked so entry was easy and the key was available for my use. Comfy bed, cozy and warm rooms with remote-controlled mini-splits in both the living room and bedroom. Bathroom with tub and separate shower - the water pressure was not as strong in the shower as I would have liked, but it was nice to have the skylight in there. My GPS found it easily but a larger sign with the house number would be helpful, especially at night. I would definitely stay there again.

My stay was everything I needed, "me time". I'm local and just needed to exhale. I booked and was able to rest and I was even able to cook a meal or two. I would definitely book again.. thanks Candy for being a great host..

Joanne’s apartment provided all the amenities and comforts of home. I loved the cozy, but spacious and quiet apartment. I felt like I was staying at a friend’s house. Joanne was a fabulous and friendly host. We will be back!

Stayed 4 days at Cecia’s place and it was wonderful! She was very helpful with the whole process! The place had everything you need ! Her husband came out and helped me with the parking pass and gave me great recommendations and clear instructions on how to catch the bus to head to manhattan. For anyone looking for a place to stay while visiting New York this is the perfect spot away from the hectic city but close and convenient enough to get to with the bus stop being about 3 minutes walking distance! Definitely will be booking Cecia’s home again if available next time I visit!

My wife and I stayed at this beautiful mid century modern home and it was fantastic. We are admirers of mid century modern design and it did not disappoint! We felt right at home. The house is beautiful, clean, and exactly as described. Not only is the house a mid century modern masterpiece, but the interior design and decor is impeccable. There is also a great hot tub on the property, as well as a beautiful in-ground pool. Brygida and Neil were very accommodating and friendly, sending us recommendations of some amazing places in the area, and making sure we had a wonderful anniversary weekend. We can't wait to visit again!

We're so happy to stay at Ying's place. It's way more beautiful and cozier than what the pictures show. Everything is new/remodeled and clean. It takes just a couple minutes to walk to the bus stop near the traffic light to NYC. Parking can be tricky but Ying's clear instructions make us at ease. Overall I'd highly recommend this place for family trip.

The house was lovely and very clean and Piotr was an excellent host and even met us at check in to show us around. There are 4 bedrooms and each bedroom has its own bathroom which was very convenient for us. The kitchen was well stocked and It was very comfortable stay for my family of 7 adults and two babies and two dogs. One bedroom is on the main floor and two bedrooms are on the walkout lower level and one bedroom is on the upper floor. To get to the upper floor there is a steep winding staircase that wasn’t an issue for us, but I would not recommended it for small children or toddlers. The outdoor hot tub was a nice addition.

We had a great time at the airbnb. The house is beautiful, well furnished, and comfortable. The location is great - easy drive from NYC to get out into nature and take a break from the city. Robin was a fantastic host - very communicative and responsive, provided plenty of guidance on what to do in the area. Hope to be able to come again soon.

We absolutely loved our weekend stay here! There was a snaffoo where the heat wasn’t working properly when we arrived and the host was so responsive to get it fixed ASAP and provided a discount without us even asking. It’s a gorgeous property with a lovely view. We will definitely be back!

Our bookclub rented Patty’s place for a girl’s long weekend. The place was even more beautiful in person. We had a great time relaxing which was enhanced by the beautiful atmosphere. This was our first time to New Haven, and the location of the Airbnb was perfect. The downtown was accessible with a short drive and the neighborhood was very peaceful. We all agreed this was one of the nicest places we’ve stayed.
