The place was just perfect for a short get-away from the city. Walkable to the beach. You can even see the ocean. Walkable to a good coffee shop, and restaurants. The kitchen has basics, so we could make breakfast. The family upstairs is definitely loud, and I don't think there's much insolation, because you can see the washing machine running, and people showering. Also when it's windy the whole house squeaks. But a couple of earplugs solved that, and the proximity to the beach more than makes up for it. The hosts are also very friendly and responsive!

The apartment was the right size for a couple. Very cozy. Only sat on the deck the first night because the weather didn’t cooperate the other days. Very close to many good restaurants and walkable to New Hope and Lambertville NJ . Also close to Peddlers Village-maybe 20 minutes or so by car. Highly recommend!

We have stayed at several lovely places in Highlands, NJ, and this one was far and away our favorite. Amazing location near the beach, gorgeous water views from the kitchen table, and a wonderfully stocked kitchen. Check-in was easy and the location can’t be beat! The mattresses were so comfortable and it was quiet, so we slept really well. We took the Seastreak ferry, so we didn’t have a car, but everything was walkable. The deck and yard were great, with extraordinary water views and even some nesting birds! The hosts were wonderfully responsive and lovely, giving good recommendations. We enjoyed reading some of the books and magazines and playing some of the games. It was a delightful stay, all-around.

This was just what we needed. A nice escape from the city. The lake is gorgeous and the quiet was phenomenal. Not gonna lie the steps are a workout, but since that was the only con, it was a totally worth it. Besides, meant I didn’t have to worry about missing workouts. The apartment was so cute and cozy. Everything was super clean. When I had any questions, they were answered immediately. Thank you so much for a great stay.

Carla was very accommodating and her place is super cozy in a great area right in the middle of the small town of highlands near a bunch of great cafes and the water!

My adult group had a fantastic stay! This house was everything we wanted in an Ocean Grove/Asbury Park getaway. Staying here gives you all the charm and quirkyness of a Victorian home with plenty of modern amenities to suit your vacation needs. We took full advantage of the outdoor grill and cooked a lot. All necessary tools and pots were stocked. Also 4 beach badges, wagon, and 4 beach chairs. The biggest draw to the home is definitely the porch! Great sunrises, sunsets, morning coffee, evening cocktails, family dinners, book reading, and conversation. Porch comfortably fits 8 adults. Get ready to get your steps in! Lots of stair climbing but it's great exercise. Also because of the limited street parking, we walked to everything in OG and AP. Taking Lake Ave and the bridges is super convenient. Lastly, Rachel the property manager is the best! Great communication and help with unloading upon arrival. Always responsive to questions and a friendly face during the week.

Had an amazing stay at Traci’s place, love the view and peaceful surrounding., I would definitely go back again.

Pros: Great for those who want to explore NYC without paying city prices to stay. Each room had AC, place was spacious, and the skyline view a street over was gorgeous! Bus stop was around the corner, or close walk to ferry to get into NYC. Local stores/ coffee were a short walk away. Parking pass for free parking was a huge bonus. Con: Beds/ pillows were not comfortable, but fine for just a couple nights sleep.

Great location in a great beach town. House was good fit for us with 11 people, 3 families. Host was quick to respond to a couple of questions. Would definitely stay here again or another house owned/managed by this host.

The house is set lakefront with a beautiful , peaceful and private view . It is very well equipped and super comfortable with many different seating selections and hang out spots. We enjoyed the many hiking trails around the house and the gas fireplace along with the jacuzzi! We were disappointed with the late 5pm check-in unless we wanted to pay extra for earlier. We have always had a 2-4 pm check-in nine years using Airbnb. Paying $400 a night made the first night a short one. We did have a relaxing wonderful vacation.

Marybel’s home was absolutely stunning especially with gorgeous views of the lake that really added to The experience waking up to a freshly brewed espresso while watching the sunrise over the amazing landscape of the lake! Her home was absolutely clean and spotless and very comfortable furniture including the beds. My group had a very comfortable night! Highly recommended place to stay!

We had a very nice winter getaway at Janet’s place. It was super clean and open. There is mindful decor throughout. It is a short ride into town with many funky shops, and about 20 mins to Woodstock which is also great. The hot tub was nice on a cold winter night, and the yard was great for our old dog who was very happy to get to go on vacation. That being said, if you don’t have dogs do NOT worry about any traces of a dog having been there. The place was immaculate.

Mima's home was a rare stay for me because I am grieving and going through heartbreak. I was meeting my best friends who own a home minutes away from Mima's home. But I needed a day and night to myself for healing and solace. I found that and more at Mima's. It is almost impossible to convey how my brief visit immensely helped my spirit. If you know that I spent the first night on the deck until after 3:30 AM because the view was spectacular under the dark skies and I felt so comforted by my surroundings, you can sense what her home did for me. I am already looking at dates to visit with my children for a few nights. Her home is a gift to anyone who visits. I didn't even want to disturb the upstairs of the house, because everything I needed was on the landing floor with the wrap-around deck and cozy living room. So I slept happily on the couch for a few hours, and then the sea called me early to sit on her private dock. That was everything for me. And she was an incredibly kind host.

Absolutely stunning! This house has an amazing view from gigantic glass doors in the main room. Details in the house are well thought out and of great quality, including a high end coffee maker and other appliances. The place has lots of premium touches that make this experience a cut above the rest. Steven is an amazing, friendly, and communicative host. Incredible experience all around, I would definitely book here again.

My family and I rented Jonathan's place as a long-term rental during ski season. We wanted to be close to Big Boulder given our involvement in the race program and the place could not have been more conveniently located (it was also great being able to walk to Boulder View Tavern for apres ski!). The unit was just like it was described, and Jonathan was always incredibly responsive if we ever needed anything. This place became our "home away from home" for ski season and we were truly sad to pack up on our last day. Highly recommend both this unit and Jonathan (I believe he has other properties) to anyone considering a stay in the Poconos. Fantastic experience and absolutely wonderful host!!

If you are looking to explore New York for a few days or longer then Jay's place is great. Just a few minutes from the Long Beach station, Penn or Grand Central are about an hour away on a direct LIRR train. You will save $$$ by staying here compared with Manhattan. Long Beach is a safe, full of interesting shops. The 10km boardwalk is just a few minutes away. The apartment of character in a listed building full of charm. Loved the well stocked kitchen and would not hesitate to come back again.

We stayed at Sharon’s for a weekend of skiing. Sharon’s ski condo was absolutely lovely. It was clean and neat. It was decorated so nice and felt so cozy! The views of the lake and mountain were beautiful. It was a very peaceful. We absolutely loved it. The location was great for skiing at big boulder. Sharon was a the best host as communication was excellent and Sharon was so friendly. She allowed us to check out a little later in the date of our departure. There was tons of information on all local places etc and a guest handbook with any/all information you would need. We will absolutely be back! Thank you Sharon for sharing your ski condo with our family

Gerry & Arlene were great hosts! They helped us find a location that fit our needs (walkable to the ski slopes). (We thought we originally booked a place right at Mountain Creek, but it ended up being across the street - so definitely a bit of a walk, but still not too bad.) We were celebrating our son's 13th birthday and the condo was perfect. The location allowed us to snowboard all day, come back to have pizza and birthday cake, then go right back on the slopes until closing. (We also left two pairs of our snowboard boots there...and they were extremely helpful in getting these back to us!)

Always a pleasure to return! My parents stayed this time and enjoyed a “staycation” They were able to relax and enjoy every moment!!!! The number one place to stay in Sussex NJ!!!!

Gerry’s place was the perfect little hamlet for our couple’s getaway! It was clean, easy to find, and nicely furnished. Gerry was very responsive and left thorough instructions for check-in and check-out. We are looking forward to coming back!
