This place totally matched my dream house for a Bequia vaction (this was my second trip to Bequia, so I "get" the island's quiet, low-key charms.) A few steps from a quiet beach; private, beautifully landscaped grounds, yet in the middle of a friendly local community that kept a quiet and supportive watch over me. An easy half-hour walk into the bustle and vibe of town, yet a century away in ambience, recalling the classic vacation living of a bygone year. The house is an absolute classic, beautifully furnished with tasteful furniture (gorgeous antique beds!), easy care surfaces, and a sweeping veranda for eating and lounging...and yes, the hummingbirds are for real. This is not a house for those who demand high-tech facilities. No microwave or dishwasher; simple, functional double beds, adequate but not state-of-the-art internet. But for those who treasure "real" island life, the intentional simplicity is a plus, not a minus. Can't wait to go back!

This by far has been one of the best AB&B I’ve stayed at. Juniors place was located central of the island overlooking the port and the beach. This makes it easy to walk to the many restaurants and attractions near by. This home was very clean and comfortable. Linens and all cooking utensils were provided. The checking process was as seamless, my party was greeted by the care taker and Junior answer every concern or question I had. Overall this not only a five star home, but the service is A+++++

We loved our stay at Three Little Birds. The house is amazing and Bec and Steff are great hosts. Abbie, the local caretaker was very responsive as well. Bequia is a wonderful island with lots to do - amazing beaches, mountains, flowers, spectacular scenery. We had 8 days of peace and beauty.

Sarah was very responsive and helpful. It is a great location, with easy walk to restaurants and the beautiful Princess Margaret beach. We played hard during the day, so the nice comfortable king size bed was a huge plus. We really enjoyed our stay.

Gorgeous house at the top of Mt. Pleasant Road. Every morning, a bay view was spread before us (it changes daily as the yachts and sailboats come in and out) and a small swimming pool to cool off at the end of a hot day. If you’ve got strong thighs, we also jogged the roads near the house, but it is quite hilly. One thing to note is that the house is very “open” plan with large doors that create wonderful indoor-outdoor living. And the bedrooms have this same feeling with doors that opened to the back patio. The property isn’t fenced in. And there are no screens in the windows or doors (and no A/C). This means lots of fresh air… and lots of wildlife visitors. We had many lizards, large moths, caterpillars, a neighborhood cat, a rather large stray dog, many hungry mosquitos and one very annoyed hummingbird that got stuck in the master bedroom. You get used to it. We didn’t have a car, so we befriended a fabulous taxi service — Curtice Taxi (ask for Pearlette!).

Staying at Anya’s was beyond peaceful and such a unique experience!! Her Team husband & Wife Marise & Orrie are extremely helpful and such a kind, sweet couple!! Bequia is a paradise everyone should get to Enjoy!!!! :))

We have traveled extensively and Memory house is a truly excellent home, location and experience. The house is charming, authentic and comfortable. The furnishings work well with the home and the interior decor is authentic without being overdone. The kitchen is stocked VERY well for cooking and entertaining; every conceivable kitchen utensil and appliance are present. There were plenty of dishes, the Tupperware had matching tops (so you can actually use them for storage) and the knives were even sharp! There are 2 refrigerators, which is great for stocking up and a wine/beer cooler; the ice maker was clutch for picnics. There were plenty of beach towels, the pool was lovely and the beach is 3 paces north from your bedroom. There is a constant luscious breeze that you fall asleep and wake up to….and the beds, pillows and sheets are all comfortable. There is a jacked-up golf cart for guests to use which comes in handy getting yourself/luggage to and from the dock. There is also a lovely woman who tends to the property daily; she was so helpful helping to get food, cleaning, doing laundry, etc. I don’t think our dirty laundry ever hit the floor. The island is perfect for walking and jogging as there no cars on the island at all. Finally, the homeowner Susan was instrumental in setting the experience up, getting food delivered and helping out with logistics. In short, this was a great stay, a great home and all operated by a great host.

There are the most beautiful views and nice breeze on the terrace. We walked everywhere, takes 5 min down to the best beach on the island; 10 min to come back up since it's a little climb up to the hill :) The walk to the town and port was about 40 min along the beach, but it's such a beautiful walk, it doesn't even feel that long. Anyway, our favorite area ended up being Lower Bay Beach within 5 min walk from the apartment, with little bars and restaurants; and the most beautiful water and views. So overall great location, and secluded for privacy. The only minus was no AC, but due to the constant breeze it was ok. Would definitely stay again.

Isla Vista Apartment was great. Jacqueline and Neville saved our trip. After checking into a different AIRBNB on the island we wanted to get out immediately. We called Jacqueline who immediately answered and within 15 minutes we were at Isla Vista with Neville greeting us. The apartment was immaculate. The views we wondered, Conch restaurant 5 minute walk below directly on the beach. They say Canouan is the place Billionaires go to get away from millionaires. If your not a billionaire, you need to stay at Isla Vista Apartments!

Jan and Louis' place is a gem on Bequia! You can't beat the view from the hammocks on the deck and the apartment had everything we needed to cook our meals and relax. But the best parts are Jan and Louis themselves! Honestly, we felt like we were visiting family or old friends rather than strangers. They generously let us tag along on their music gigs and introduced us to some great people. It was a joy to spend time with them! From the beers, juice, and milk they left for us the first day, to the rides back and forth to the ferry, they were super star hosts and we couldn't ask for anything more. It was a delight to visit Bequia, we hope to be back soon!

Great location - it's a short walk down to the bars and restaurants on Belmont Walkway, that runs along the harbour from Princess Margaret Beach to town. Beautiful view of the harbour from the loungers on the balcony.

Rainbow Castle is amazing!! Ina and Conrad are both such wonderful ppl, we felt at home as soon as we got here. Conrad even took us on a day trip around Bequia from one end to the other stopping at all kinds of tourist attractions and also some really great locals stops too! One of them was the fisheries and we ended up buying a couple lobsters and Conrad even volunteered to cook the for us. AMAZING We would definitely come back and also recommend everyone to stay here.

When I think of a slice of heaven, this Airbnb listing comes to mind! Beachfront on friendship bay. The listing was clean and the rooms were spacious with air con in all bedrooms. Going to bed to the sound of the ocean was truly amazing and the view!! Cheryl the house manager, went over and beyond to accommodate us and ensure that we were comfortable. I truly recommend this Airbnb, and will be back soon!!

We've stayed at places with great views, but never from both sides of the property. At Atlantic Breeze, you can see the Atlantic from the front door and the Caribbean (and the port) from the awesome porch! It's amazing, especially the Atlantic side on a clear night! You're in the middle of Canouan neighborhood life, not behind the gates of a resort. It's an invigorating walk up and down the hill to the restaurants and the minimart, as well as to the picture perfect windswept Caribbean beach on the backside. Cas was incredibly helpful in making sure our stay was smooth, including setting us up with someone to take us to the Tobago Cays and ensuring we could on the ferry to Bequia. But heck, everyone we interacted was friendly, including locals we asked for directions. Also, I'm going to second bringing sufficient Eastern Caribbean dollars, as our ATM card didn't work, either, and most places didn't accept credit cards. Thankfully, Canouan has a Western Union. Thanks again, Cas!

We had a lovely stay at Philomene's. The unit was spotless. The beach is right across the street. All the restaurants are good and within walking distance. We particularly recommend "Provision." The neighborhood feels very safe. There are no bars on windows as there are in other Caribbean islands!

To Jacquie, Me, Marco & Deondra thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was accessible, everything was clean and everything was amazing. Thank you for your help and for it being a wonderful. Mike was absolutely amazing as well, so kind and so helpful. We will be staying with you again. Thank you.

Great place in a great location. Very close to the beach. Beautifully appointed, very comfortable apartment and really enjoyed use of the swimming pool and the roof terrace for sundowners. Good Wi-Fi and very comfy bed!

Ett boende som alla kommer att tycka om, med kort avstånd till en fantastisk sandstrand. Välutrustad lägenhet, med fin uteplats och utemöbler som man lätt kan ta ner till stranden. Nära till Dawns, som är ett utmärkt frukost ställe och gångavstånd till flera restauranger, där Keegans var vårt favoritställe. Ca 2,5 kilometer in till Port Elisabeth, där det finns massor att göra.
