We loved our stay at this gorgeous home! It’s even better than the photos— so spacious, extremely clean, great location, perfect for any type of stay. Rich was kind and responsive, letting us check in early and leave late if needed. The guide gave very clear and helpful instructions for literally everything about the home. We would absolutely book again next time we’re in New Orleans.

Our family stayed for one night before boarding a cruise. The home was exactly as pictured and very clean. It was better for us to stay together rather than get several hotel rooms. We felt the home was priced accordingly. We would stay here again.

The house was beautiful and the neighborhood was so charming. I am a sucker for interior design and quirky colorful houses (which were abundant in the area), so this was the perfect stay. We slept like a baby at night as it was quiet. Blue Bikes were all around, and we were only ~15 min bike away from the french quarter. All in all this was perfect and I can’t wait to be back!

The house is well-equipped and beautifully decorated. We loved the vinyl available for the living/dining space. It let you pop on just the right jazz album to then relax with a coffee in the morning or a drink before bed. The neighborhood has multiple options for bars and cafes, all with a pretty mixed age but artsier clientele. No real trouble to walk over to the French Quarter, either. A good combination of walkable distance without sleeping amongst the heart of the nightlife. The hosts are very responsive, though we didn’t run into anything we needed assistance on during our stay.

The home was exactly as pictured. All the appliances were new and in great condition. The ceiling fans and ac kept us comfortable. Lots of towels, wash clothes and all the essentials and more for kitchen and bathroom! Rik stocks plenty of the little comforts like paper goods, dishwashing liquid and laundry supplies. There was even fresh ground coffee for our first pot!The electronics were really easy to figure out .The beds were both super comfortable and everything was immaculate. We knew the location would require using Uber,so it wasn’t an issue. Know that public transport is not ‘steps away’ if you are a little bit older. Another thing for older guests to note is the very deep tub. Rik is a responsive and helpful host. Communication was easy , clear and prompt. Although we didn’t find a ‘house book’ Rik took extra care to give me recommendations for music and food. We felt very safe and at home. This is a solid choice of home base. I’d love to stay again!

Amazing location, clean and comfortable, lots to do in the area! Highly recommend!

Excellent bang for your buck, very spacious and can accommodate a large group. We were initially unsure of the location but the street view on Google maps is very old; the neighborhood was safe and we had good street parking - the property has cameras as well. Hosts were very accommodating and flexible. It's a little further from the street car, but in a pinch you COULD hike to the French Quarter if you REALLY need to. If you have a large party like we did you may need to ration towels for your stay. Otherwise we all fit comfortably and check in/check out was super simple and easy.

Genevieve's place is spotless and so cozy and comfortable. She even made us some amazing pastries a couple of mornings. It was the perfect place to relax and make your itinerary for the day. An added plus was lots of hot water to take a nice relaxing bath or shower after a long day of sightseeing. I highly recommend her place and Genevieve is a joy to interact with. She had lots of great restaurant suggestions as well. Can't wait to stay at her place again!

Our stay at The Hotel Perle was amazing! We were impressed with the layout, thoughtfulness and atmosphere throughout our stay. The suite was well thought out and accommodated our group nicely. The staff is friendly, responsive, and helpful. All furnishings, bed linen, towels, and supplies were great! Comfy beds, soft towels, and beautiful bathrooms. I honestly can’t say enough. We would definitely recommend and come back!

Loved the place. Huge suite....loved the decor. Plenty of space for the 6 of us, really worked out well. We were able to walk to all. Never stayed in a place like this....size of a house almost but it was like a boutique hotel setting. Sort of like staying in someone's high end large apartment. Definitely would stay there again.

The five bedroom unit was perfect for our two families of four. The living room and kitchen were perfect. The pool and patio were comfortable. The location on the streetcar line was very convenient for visiting Tulane and the walk to the French Quarter was great. We would love to stay again.

Paige and Joshua are wonderful hosts. Very flexible and responsive. Their location on Audubon Park couldn’t be better. I just walked into the park and either exercised or sat on a bench and read. The apartment had everything I needed.

We had an amazing experience at Mia's place!! We picked up our friend from CA at the airport and wanted to stop and provision before we got to the apartment and Mia was not only accommodating to our loose schedule but recommended a store that would be on our way and nearby! The apartment is really awesome - good kitchen and coffee making options, funky bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and fantastic shower, but the best part is the common space! There's a big dining table (great for games on a rainy day or lazy night), a very cool and cozy sitting area that has a stereo that should be turned to 90.7 for the full NOLA experience 😉 The tv area is also a great spot to enjoy morning coffee, watch tv, or sit and plan your day's adventures. Re: the tv area - if you find yourself wondering why your device isn't charging you should check that you aren't using a switched outlet... We had a wonderful time there and Mia is a great host, we are already looking forward to going back!!

We had a great stay at Michelle’s place. It was clean and cozy, and Michelle went out of their way to correct a booking issue that I made. The apartment is conveniently located and very spacious. Highly recommend!

Amazing stay with Family. We don’t live far from NO and we visit 3-4 times a year. This is my favorite place to stay with my children. Very safe, everything you need. Herbsaint is right around the corner and a fav restaurant of ours. Love the beds, love the couch, love the parking! It is a higher price so for us. We will probably only stay here with a big group/ family. No staff on site, which is fine for me but just giving a heads up.

My wife and I are well traveled, and this was one of the more memorable places we have stayed. The decor and design made it feel like a home away from home. The bed was comfortable. It’s in a beautiful residential area with gorgeous historic homes around that we walked through every morning. Walking distance to a few bars and restaurants and also right next to the park. We took the St Charles Streetcar into the French Quarter a few times, which took about 45 min. Bonus: Olive greeted us in the mornings and every time we returned! We will stay here again if we visit New Orleans.

Best. Host. Ever. Lyle’s place is elegant and warm, spacious and welcoming. Location is great – easily walkable to so many things. But the very best is Lyle - he’s just a great human being (and chef) and was so helpful and kind. He made me feel right at home and connected to what was going on in the city. He connects people to each other and shares his love and knowledge of the city. Of all the things to experience in New Orleans, staying at Lyles’s place is the best.

All around 10/10! It was my first time staying at a bed and breakfast and the charm and homely feeling of staying with a local family can’t be beat. The location was perfect, we could walk everywhere but it was residential and close to local gems.

I would give even more stars if I could! Lynn's place was absolutely perfect for us. I stayed for 5 nights with my mom and we are already dreaming of going back. The place was super clean, beds were comfortable and Lynn thought of every detail to ensure a great stay. We felt warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. He and his partner were never intrusive, but available if we needed anything. The place felt very private despite the shared space with other guests (whom we never even saw!). The common area is spacious and we loved having access to the breakfast foods, coffee, tea and juice at any time of day. The location truly can't be beat. Two blocks to Frenchman St!! And the best part is being so close to the action but in a quiet room in a lovely residential area. Great neighborhood restaurants, cafes, and bars within easy walking distance. It's hard to find a place in this area that checks all the boxes at an affordable price which makes this extra special. Thank you Lynn!!!

Can’t wait to visit Michelle’s again! The inn was so comfortable and the room met all of our need down to a great ceiling fan and handy shelves in the bathroom. Michelle and Bob went out of their way to MAKE us a tasty, hot vegan breakfast each morning and were so friendly yet so chill. 5 stars all around!

Great host. Great Loacation. New Orleans through and through

Karen is a consummate host in addition to a great chef. One feels immediately comfortable and welcome. Her home is convenient to New Orleans (an easy ferry ride), but even in Algiers everything you could need or want is within walking distance. She shares her experiences, suggestions and truly takes the time to engage with her guests. It’s lovely…..just go!

Laura was very welcoming, and was happy to give us some local recommendations. The location was wonderful. very walkable, close to a few good restaurants, a large park as well as some fun bars. We loved the house and enjoyed our private quarters with sun room! The cats were very cute and the vanity mirror made getting ready so much easier. Place was very cozy and do highly recommend.
