We had a great stay at the beautiful spot in Hermanus. We looked at lots of other apartments as we walked round and decided that we were very lucky as ours was in the perfect location, had a beautiful balcony which had sun for most of the day and felt safe and secure. Parking was easy and it was nice to be met at the gates and shown around. We enjoyed a run along the amazing seafront, great coffee at Cafe Anna and would definitely recommend Hermanus for a slightly different experience to the Camps Bay side of Cape Town. We saw dolphins swimming in the bay (although we didn’t come in whale season!). There were only two of us so we enjoyed the main bedroom with the sea view but the second bedroom is large and has its own bathroom - just not so scenic! Ohna was a great host who replied promptly and gave us some brilliant recommendations - we loved La Pentola so much we went twice in two days!

The Rainbow Residence was a lovely place for us to spend 4 days in Franschhoek. It is beautifully decorated with an African chic vibe. All kinds of creature comforts have been provided in abundance. The view from the kitchen window is stunning! Monica, the manager, made us feel welcomed and kindly communicated the details that made our stay comfortable! We will plan to return! thank you!

Kyle was a fabulous host. Very clear instructions, friendly and quick to respond. Beautiful apartment with large balcony and sea views. Kyle had thought of all those little extras you need, washing machine, iron, shower gel etc. A very comfortable and clean stay and just a short stroll to all the restaurants, shops that are right by the sea. Would highly recommend this accomodation.

Amazingly spacious and very clean airbnb in a peaceful and safe neighbourhood. From the airbnb you can make a wonderful walk alongside the sea to the centre of Hermanus.

We enjoyed a few peaceful days in Jayne's lovely apartment. She has created a welcoming and comfortable space for guests. Great care has gone into every detail, from taking care of practical necessities, to the simple but stylish decor which makes the apartment feel like home. The apartment is close to the centre of town, and it is a quick and easy walk to a variety of restaurants and the delightful Hermanus Cliff Path walkway. Jayne is a responsive check-in was smooth and easy.

I absolutely love this place and actually stayed longer than initially planned. It's very close to the city centre in a small retirement village. As a result you are of course expected to be quiet but the advantage is that your neighbours are equally very quiet. I slept incredibly well in the firm bed. Although the place is definitely not big, it did have absolutely everything I needed, even a washing machine! I wouldn't hesitate staying here again and would certainly advise people to stay here provided they are not looking for luxury finishings.

My partner and I came to celebrate our anniversary and Valentine’s Day. Elfriede made our stay so special and we loved every single second of the time we spent there. Thank you so much, we can’t wait to come back again. Definitely become a new special place for us. Xx

Can’t speak highly enough of our 4-night stay. Exceptional property, fully equipped with everything you’d need, wonderfully big outdoor garden with pool and loungers. 5 min walk to wine tram, 2 min walk to Franschhoek main road, yet extremely peaceful neighbourhood/st the house is located on, could hardly have picked a better location. Upstairs bedroom above kitchen/living area could certainly do with a fan, the only constructive feedback we have. The property manager/cleaners were extremely helpful throughout our stay and helped with flexible check-in/out which was greatly appreciated. Massive thanks for making our time in Franschhoek so special!

We had a wonderful time at Chelsea’s place! The house is beautifully renovated and well equipped. The location in Franschoek is perfect - the main road and restaurants are a short stroll away. We would love to visit again.

The perfect getaway for family or friends! The house looked exactly like the photos and had all the necessary amenities. It was spotless, and we felt at home from the moment we arrived. The location is great, with a beautiful mountain view. Plus, it’s just a short drive to the beach and excellent restaurants. The host was very responsive, and the information pack was so helpful. Lovely, clean and neat home for the weekend away. It is in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Marita was always available and accommodated us with a special request. Would definitely recommend it, and hope to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful, well equipped and tastefully decorated. High quality and well appointed kitchen. Gorgeous outside area for dining, and a little plunge pool for hot days. The town is walkable and full of great restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this house for a wonderful Franshhoek holiday.

A lovely, spacious and very well equipped beach house in a very peaceful, quiet and beautiful neighbourhood. A short stroll from the coast and Davie’s pool - a great place for a dip and to watch the sun go down. Some good restaurants and shops in Onrus and a huge shopping mall between Onrus and Hermanus. If you’re worried about security- don’t be…. The property is fully alarmed but everyone we met were so polite and friendly! Corneil and Rachelle were excellent, responsive hosts. We had a great holiday here. Highly recommended.

Heerlijk appartement met werkelijk fantastisch uitzicht over zee. Alles in het appartement functioneerde naar behoren, dus hebben we Lettie tijdens ons verblijf niet benaderd. Bij aankomst was Lettie persoonlijk aanwezig om ons de sleutels te overhandigen en om het een en ander over het appartement uit te leggen. Bij vertrek was Lettie weer aanwezig om de sleutels in ontvangst te nemen. Lettie is overigens een ontzettend vriendelijke vrouw en reageerde heel snel op vragen.

Die Unterkunft ist traumhaft. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Wir haben als Paar mit unseren beiden Kindern dort übernachtet, er war einfach perfekt. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Zur Begrüßung gab es sogar eine Flasche Wein. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft.

Bayview is a stunning apartment with stunning views. Everything was perfect, from the unit, to the amenities to the linen. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. Pity about the pool not being available but we believe a plan is in hand. Would of been great to sit around the pool after a morning at the beach. Apartment is safe and secure and ideal for a family of four. If i had one complaint (which it isnt really) i found the chairs in the lounge to be quite uncomfortable, very modern but not something you can tuck up your knees and read a book. The couch on the other hand was very comfortable. Elsa was fantastic and met us at the unit and gave us some tips on the surrounding areas, she is available if you need anything and also allows you privacy - a wonderful host! We loved our stay in Hermanus!
