Being in the Australian bush, by the Murrumbidgee, and on a working property, were rare treats. Our dog had a ball wandering freely, swimming in the river and chasing the occasional roo. The dog was also welcome at Yerran Winery, about an hour’s drive away, where we had a great “ Cheese and Chill” experience. The raucous sulphur-crested cockatoo migration dawn and evening was quite a show. Best of all, though, was taking the property ute down to a private hidden beach on the river. All brilliant if you want a very authentic bush experience, with the help of a great host. Thank you, Anna!

We had a very warm welcome from Sarah, her lovely family and the animals when we first arrived. I’m not sure if a tiny house is the best description as it was much bigger and nicer than a lot of the other tiny homes we stayed at in the past. Very well thought out and we never felt cramped in there at all! Lots of nice little touches as well which were very appreciated. Spent 2 nights at Wakeden Estate and could not fault the venue one bit. Would highly recommend, close to the shopping centre district right in the town centre. Cosy, comfortable, clean and has all the cooking utensils, pots, pans and ancillary equipment you will ever need.

Hi Luke, I hope you’re doing well. We are currently staying at your accommodation and overall, everything is fine. However, I wanted to bring a few issues to your attention: 1. One of the bed sheets was dirty, and it was covered with the doona. I have taken pictures for your reference. 2. The center button of the TV remote is broken. 3. One of the room’s lights is not working. Our children really like the place, and we appreciate the overall comfort. We often visit the Sikh temple nearby and would love to stay here again in the future. We kindly request that these issues be fixed for a better experience next time. Thanks Phil for a great weekend away. Very spacious house with a huge kitchen. We found pretty much everything we needed inside,as described on your lisiting. The aircon was handy as it was a very hot couple of days in Griffith. The orange juice,milk and bread was greatly appreciated as were the little bottles of local wine. We would love to visit again and recommend to anyone staying in the area. Cheers.
