Cozy peaceful place with a horse farm next to the house. It is perfectly fit with my family group of 8 adults plus 1 child. The house is clean and tidy. The kitchen is fully equipped with all we need for cookings. The host is helpful and super friendly with prompt responses to our questions. He even comes visiting in-person to help us on BBQ set up. We had a great stay!

Excellently located for short drive to most key attractions within the golden circle. Very quiet and away from the main towns so perfect for seeing the northern lights. Spacious modern house with everything we need. Dóróthea and Baldur were perfect hosts and very responsive. We must come back here!

Really beautiful cabin in a perfect location. Good point to travel around the south from. Clean, very spacious and well laid out. Much bigger than I expected. Really good quality furniture and fittings. Lovely and warm at the end of a busy day exploring. Managed to watch a brilliant show of the northern lights from the decking. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely loved our stay! The host was 5-star—thoughtful, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The place was spotless and so well-equipped. The mattress was incredibly comfortable and the hot tub was an amazing touch that made the stay feel extra special. Highly recommend!

I'm very pleased with my stay here. The house is exceptionally clean and comfortable—highly recommended! However, I would advise against checking in after dark, as it can be more difficult to locate the property.

We just finished a 3 night stay at Maria’s place and it was absolutely lovely. We enjoyed the hot tub and the house felt just like home. Beautifully decorated with little touches that made the house feel warm. Maria was extremely responsive and allowed us to check in early which worked out perfect for our travel plans. I do recommend stopping at a larger store before getting close to the house as the little town has only a convenience store. We also really enjoyed dinner at Lindin in the town. The house was a great gateway to everything we wanted to get too.

My fiancé and I had a lovely stay to end our trip in Iceland. Sabine was extremely kind and gave many recommendations. The location is secluded so we were able to see the northern lights from the hot tub our entire trip. The cottage is lovely. The shower is a bit small, so taller people beware. I think it’s the perfect size for two people. We had a great visit and hope to be back again.

Stunning view. A classic A-frame cabin. Soooo quiet and peaceful. Peaceful. Easy to walk to the restaurant and if you choose, walk to the little communities nearby, including farms and the local church. It's a cabin in the golden circle. Don't be a jerk. Appreciate. We are all lucky to experience this. And if you ask a question, Jake ANSWERS you almost immediately. But really... the porch overlooking the valley... and the AMAZING outdoor shower with hot water from the local geothermal station. SHUT UP if you don't appreciate how special this is. Therapeutic. Ahhhhhhhh. We stayed up late and saw the northern lights. Doesn't get better for peace and authentic. Thanks Jake!!!! 😁

Duidelijke instructies van de host, snelle reactie bij vragen. Klein schattig huisje, met alles er op en er aan! Natuur is erg mooi rondom het park, voor van winkels moet je wel wat verder rijden, maar goed bereikbaar met eigen auto. Top verblijf gehad!

Een heerlijke week overnacht in het huisje en getourt door de Golden Circle. 3x het noorderlicht gezien door weinig lichtvervuiling in de buurt! Fijn dat er vloerverwarming aanwezig was om het huisje op temperatuur te houden.

Stefan was great host, helped us as much as he could with recommendations and provided clear instructions on how to reach out his place and use it best way as possible-we truly appreciate and recommend!

One of our memorable accommodation is this one with its very lovely cabin inside and out. It’s so cozy we dont want to leave! Everything we need is right there and it’s spotless. We learned of the story of the cabin and it became a more special stay. Thank you for allowing us to arrive early and all the suggestions we can do around the area. It was easy communicating with you and we had a fantastic stay!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison est très fonctionnelle et très bien équipée. Le jacuzzi est très appréciable. L’environnement est magnifique et la maison tellement cocoon ! On s’y sent très bien, un vrai havre de paix pour les vacances. En plus de cela, elle est très bien située pour le secteur du cercle d’or. Bien sûr, il vous faudra compter 2h de route pour rejoindre le sud de l’île jusque Vik par exemple. Nous recommandons ++ Merci à notre hôte Thorsteinn qui est très réactif et serviable.

Wir waren 10 Tage in dem schönen Ferienhaus und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist sehr gut ausgestattet und ein besonderes Highlight ist der Hotpod und der Coldpod und die Außendusche:-)

Moin, die zeit in der Unterkunft war super. Wir waren mit insgesamt 5 personen dort. Die Unterkunft war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet sodass wir nach einem langen und aufregenden Tag in Island gut entspannen konnten.

We stayed in Olga’s summer house to explore the surrounding area during our stay in Iceland. It was very convenient being close to Selfoss for food but the location in the middle of the valley with surrounding mountains felt very peaceful. The house itself was incredibly charming. Great seating on the porch to enjoy the serene environment, and the many windows indoors made the house a great place to relax with the combined seating area and kitchen. Cozy bedrooms comfortably slept our 5 family members. We explored Kerid, Geysir, and Gulfoss one day from the house and took a drive to Vik the other day. Would highly recommend if you like being a little off the beaten path!

La cabane de Guðný est charmante et parfaitement conforme à la description. Elle est équipée de tout le nécessaire. Le ménage était impeccable, le lit très confortable, et la cuisine ainsi que la salle de bain étaient parfaitement fonctionnelles. De plus, la communication s'est très bien passée. Je recommande vivement et je n'hésiterai pas à revenir.

Perfect location for our night between the golden circle and the Highlands!

This little cute cabin has a stunning view over a river valley. The place is perfect for two people as a serene and privat get away. We enjoyed our stay very much. It is in a great location to get to the sights along the "Golden Circle". We also feel that we have been very lucky to see the Aurora right from the front porch stretching over the northern sky for two nights in a row! The kitchen is very well equipped and has a large fridge. The cabin has been very clean and WIFI has been reliable as well. Communication with Bjarni has been helpful and very responsive before and during our stay. I would stay here again for another trip to the revisit the beautiful nature of Iceland.
