Gros Islet : locations de vacances en bord de mer

JJ's Paradise was one of our favorite locations we stayed at during our 1 month long holiday in St Lucia. Marigot Bay is not a place you stay for doing a lot of hiking; it is a great place to stay for relaxation and wonderful, lush setting. Our room was beautiful and came with two king-size beds - we really liked that one was firm and one was plush so we picked the plush one. The resort is really nice with a pool area that we spent a lot of time at. Mangrove restaurant onsite and on the water was actually the best restaurant of all the places we ate in Marigot Bay. The other stand out item was the free breakfast that came with our room every morning- it was really good and very filling!! Also, the staff, including JJ himself, Tricia, Roger our ferry driver (the ferry is also free) and Kerry who brought us to our next accommodation are all amazingly friendly and made us feel like we were part of the family. Highly recommend this place!

Das Treehouse ist wunderbar gelegen und ein guter Rückzugsort mitten in der Natur. Annett und Martin waren sehr hilfsbereit und gut erreichbar. Die Aussicht auf das Meer, die Kolibris, die Ruhe,.. alles sehr schön. Wir haben ein Auto gemietet, um die umliegenden Ortschaften zu erkunden. Marigot Bay, Restaurants und die schöne Bucht zum Schwimmen, sind aber auch zu Fuss erreichbar. Sehr empfehlenswert, wir kommen gerne wieder!

During my stay the villa was very quiet and didn't have many people staying. I had the pool to myself everytime I used it. The island isn't much for walking, plan to use a taxi or rent a car. There were a few restaurants, the ferry is very useful to get across the bay. The accommodations were exactly as shown and expected other then the fact I had turn down service where day which I wasn't expecting. Staff at the reception were beyond helpful.

Our stay at Ginger Cottage was incredible! The cottage is located above the beach and has a beautiful view of the bay, and very nice for watching sunsets. When we arrived, we met George, who helped us get across the bay in the ferry and showed us the way to the cottage. He was very helpful in getting to know the area! The cottage itself is very clean and comfortable, the only thing to keep in mind is that there are no actual window panes, insulated walls or A/C so the temperature largely depends on outside weather. When we stayed there, it was high 70s, low 80s so this was not an issue. Multiple fans are also provided to cool down if that’s a little too warm for you. The only problem we ran into was that the WiFi didn’t work properly as it didn’t reach into the cottage very far, but Lucretia was very communicative and explained that it was a new router and it didn’t have the same reach, so she would install a new system after our stay for future guests. Highly recommend this place!

Beau petit logement cozy, très propre, sécuritaire et il y avait tout ce qu'il fallait pour notre séjour. La vue de la terrasse est sensationnelle. Nous avons bien apprécié l'espace lounge et la piscine. L'hôte Patricia est très réactive, répond rapidement à toute question et son conjoint Justin qui était sur place était toujours à l'écoute des besoins de ses locataires et tellement adorable, de même que Keizah, la gestionnaire immobilier. Je vais aussi m'ennuyer de ma nouvelle amie, Polka Dot, une mignonne petite chatte. Sainte-Lucie est vraiment une île à découvrir et ses plages sont magnifiques. Il est préférable de louer une voiture durant le séjour. Je recommande vivement la Ville Flamboyant. ❤️

This was an amazing house. The location was fabulous and our host Esther was top notch. She was able to provide all of us massages in our balconies, make dinner reservations and placed our orders, and book excursions when needed.

Iain's place in Cap Cove was the perfect location for our large family week in St. Lucia! The location was unbeatable, with an easy drive to the Rodney Bay and Gros Islet areas, close access to so many restaurants and beaches, and convenient drive to the supermarket. With one pool in the backyard and another massive community pool steps from the door, plus a 2-minute walk to beach and convenience to Marjorie's bar, we couldn't ask for more location-wise. The estate pool and the nearby beach were never crowded. Just beware, Rodney Bay area is a hairy drive from the airport, but we are confident drivers and felt it was worth the trip. The house was gorgeous and the kitchen was beautiful (albeit marginally stocked). We made do with having AC just in the bedrooms and not in the common areas, but it was a bit hot on nights we decided to cook in. There was plenty of space for our group of 8 teenagers and adults though. We would definitely come back!

This was my second time staying in Haidar’s unit, he was very communicative and responsive to me, the condo was clean and the exterior and pool were very nice and inviting. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

Our stay was a delight and a great warm holiday away from the cold English weather. Suzette was very accessible and quick to respond to a variety of questions, including arranging a car seat for the taxi from the airport which was very helpful (especially for 90 min taxi ride). Location was great, 5 minute walk from the beach and a very safe outdoor space for a family with two boys under two years old. Rodney Bay had everything we needed and the marina, Pigeon Island and Windjammer Resort are short taxi rides away. Jacques is a restaurant walking distance away which is really recommended, especially for the ambience.

Très beau logement, résidence sécurisé et paisible. Les salles de bains sont très grandes. Il n’y a aucun défaut. C’est une pépite rare à SteLucie. Kimberly est une hôte très sympathique, toujours prête à aider, très arrangeante ! J’espère vite refaire un séjour chez elle.

I am not even sure where to start with this review besides this has been, hands down, our favorite vacation experience to date! From the initial point of contact with the host, Chad, he was super responsive and even easily let us change our dates post booking. He proactively communicated with us and gave us so many helpful suggestions! We had rented a car and decided to cancel it and go with his suggestion of using Brad with Simple Transfers, which has also been a highlight of our trip! Every single amenity has been considered, there is not a single thing I can think of we didn't have. We enjoyed our privacy, the pool, private beach access (and tons of sea glass!!), the outdoor shower, and outdoor kitchen the most! My only suggestion: bring earplugs. I am a heavy sleeper, but the St. Lucian frogs are croaking ALL night! Every day/night we had a show of bats, frogs, lizards, birds, and slugs! The bed is comfy, and never needed the AC! Games & projector were an added bonus!! 100000/10!!

We really enjoyed our time at Carolyn’s condo. It is very modern, clean, quiet and safe while being in close driving proximity to everything the north side of the island has to offer. The condo is fully equipped with anything you may need. The beach is a 2 minute walk from the condo and is very quiet and private, the sargassum is removed every morning by tractor so the beach is very clean. Our young son really loved the beach and huge pool that is right beside the apartment. This is a great place to stay if you want the cleanliness and amenities of a modern resort without the crowds and noise. We only saw two or three other families in the entire condo complex during our time here - so we had everything to ourselves. Cleopatra and Carolyn were extremely helpful and communicative. This is definitely a 5 star property and one of the best finds on the island.

We had a great time at Marvin Villa. The view is amazing and we found ourselves sitting poolside (alot) just to stare and relax. Heather and her sister Brenda were very responsive - even to the point of delivering water and flashlights, extra batteries when the power briefly went out in the neighborhood. We cooked some light meals in the kitchen which had what we needed. Lots of great restaurants, some within walking distance. We took the Carnival Sailing Catamaran tour (recommended by Heather) to see the Pitons and experience the mud baths. Definitely worth our time and money and recommended to future guests.

I just want to say Thank You Merlyn! You went above and beyond for my short stay and I will be back to visit again! This place looks exactly as the pictures. Super spacious. The staff were very accommodating. I have no complaints only that I didn’t stay long enough. Thank you guys! 🫶🏽🥰

Amazing value for a lovely apartment. The location is a bit inconvenient but for the price paid I can’t complain. Just be prepared to hire a car or arrange taxis. The cost to Vigie Beach is pretty cheap though. The property was very large with well equipped kitchen and bathroom and good air con in both big bedrooms. Loads of storage and a big fridge. I also felt very safe in the property. Super quiet area and property.

Angela and her family are VERY kind, quick to respond and helpful. The Apartment was Beautiful, with a stunning view over the water and very well equipped. Everything we needed was there, especially the ceiling fans worked really well and quietly. The beach can be reached by foot and is very nice and was surveilled by security guards whenever we were there. You can also walk to the capital of St Lucia or grab a Taxi to another place.

A very spacious and comfortable appartment with comfy beds surrounded by a beautiful landscape and within easy reach of Gros Islet and pigeon island. Shall welcomed us with a roti speciality and gave us a coconut and passion fruit from his garden. We loved stroking his cute goats and enjoyed watching his cute little chicks. We enjoyed eating on the stunning terrace. A quiet haven away from the busy town. I highly recommend.

Ever is a Superhost, by my last min. idea he got a nice local to organize a small cab tour for me just then the dropoff. He is one of the most responsive and friendly hosts, top5 for me, besides i have met with a few dozens... The restaurant did not serve but the small shop next by did and they accept card too! Basic water, soda, salty, sweet food and quick soup base you can get all there from a kind lady. Except the cutlery i found everything onsite. The aircon was great, the TV did not work but i did not mind. The bed was comfy and spacious and hot water also 'cool' to have! The view on the sea in the morning and daytime is superb! Just that makes ppl. to return! They may not even expect this... Checkout was a kind of confusion but we sorted that out and there were reasons and misunderstandings behind.

Great location with beautiful views over Marigot Bay and out to sea. Well equipped kitchen, great board games and welcoming deck. Beds do need mosquito nets.
