Grotto Bay : locations de vacances adaptées aux familles

We had a very relaxing 3 night stay - wish we could have stayed longer but we definitely hope to be back in the future. Incredible views of False Bay, great layout, great indoor/outdoor space - decks, pool, wood-fired hot tub - choice of gas or charcoal braai/bbq ! Great outdoor shower off master bedroom ! Large bedrooms with lots of storage/cupboard space. Well equipped kitchen. Felt very secure and safe. Excellent communication with host (Imraan) - who was very responsive and proactive. Overall highly recommended- we really enjoyed our stay. Note that there are lots of stairs to climb up/down from parking on Boyes Drive to house or down to the beachfront - we were aware of this and knew the geography - so it was not a concern - well worth the views from the house- but just something to be aware of when carrying luggage/groceries etc or for those mobility challenged.

Great place! Loved the pedal boat option. Perhaps not so ideal if you have toddlers because the staircase does not have rails. Minor issue really and other than that we had a good stay.

Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit in Higgo. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne nach Higgo und schätzen die Nähe zu Gardens mit der lebendigen Kloof Street und gleichzeitig der ruhigen und sicheren Nachbarschaft. Das Haus ist hervorragend ausgestattet und es fehlte uns an nichts. Geschmackvoll und passend eingerichtet. Die Terrasse vom Wohnzimmer ist tatsächlich ein Blick in den „Dschungel“ und hat seine eigene ruhige und abgeschottete Atmosphäre. Nach vorn gibt es genug Platz zum Spielen, wenn man mit Kindern reist, und der Pool hat ein schönes Sonnendeck. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und das Haus hat gehalten was es versprochen hat. Das House Keeping 2x pro Woche war hervorragend und mit Barbara sehr, sehr angenehm. Professionell und dennoch mit dem Charakter von AirBnB ein schönes „zu Hause“ auf Zeit. Wir waren 3 Wochen im Haus und waren traurig, als das Ende der Auszeit in CT kam. Vielen Dank.

We loved the little space we had for ourselves Although it is busy with workers right behind our space which means no walking around naked 😅 but hot tub and grass patch was exactly what we needed for a quick getaway And it is still somewhat private and definitely feels peaceful Maybe an AC for hot summer days would be great We loved it and would recommend

This is our second stay at Thilo & Cheryl's house in De Waterkant. We love this house! The location is amazing. It is within walking distance of everything in the ever evolving Waterkant area. We also enjoy walking to the waterfront from here which is about 15-20 minutes walk. The house is beautiful. Everything has a premium feel and it is super cosy. Lots of cushions on the sofa, comfy beds and bedding. The kitchen has everything if you enjoy cooking. Smart TV for nights in. There is an amazing view from the living area topped only by the view from the rooftop! The roof is incredible. Great loungers for sunbathing and an outdoor sofa for drinks and relaxing. The hot tub is great and it all looks out over the waterfront and the bay beyond. The location is great for driving in and out of cape town on the highway and also easy for central cape town with restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Thilo and Cheryl are very responsive and friendly making this a truly special place to stay

Spacious apartment with everything we needed. Waking up, opening the curtains and watching the sun rise over the sea, whilst sipping a morning coffee was truly special. He best start to the day. A fantastic base to explore from and it was lovely to come back to and relax at the end of the day, felt very homely.

Beautiful cottage with stunning views. We thoroughly switched off and enjoyed the fire heated hot tub. Highly recommend

An absolute piece of paradise this place is!!! will definitely recommend and definitely will return. a beautiful clean and very well maintained property with amazing views and Privacy. a great break from the noise of daily life. Absolutely LOVED IT

Nathan’s place was the perfect location for our family of four to explore Capetown. The cottage is cosy with all the necessary amenities m, and we felt right at home. Nathan is a friendly and approachable host that made us feel very welcome, and he had a ton of local suggestions and tips on where to visit. The neighbourhood felt very safe and family friendly, there is a lovely playground across the street, and a shopping village/ mall 5 minutes drive- it truly is the perfect location for a short or longer term stay in Capetown and we will definitely stay here again on our next trip.

I would definately recommend staying at Mountain View! Iris is a great host and the apartment is very well appointed and has everything you will need for a comfortable stay.

Uta’s place was a wonderful place to stay for our first three nights in South Africa. We especially loved the morning sun beautifully blasting us in the morning - it helped so much with our jet lag! We had one exciting windy night and two other warm still evenings, glad we got to experience it all at what felt like the edge of the world! Lots of stairs were fine even hiking a surfboard up and down. Uta was helpful and responsive. Would recommend to a friend!

Liebrecht was such an amazing host. He had a fire ready and waiting for us upon arrival. He was very accommodating & we had a fantastic stay at this prime spot.

Would 100% recommend Jo’s place for a stay in Cape Town, location is perfect right under table mountain with tonnes of great bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The house itself is stunning, really spacious with great views from the garden. Jo was a fantastic host, always on hand whenever we needed anything and had loads of great recommendations for us. We loved our stay, would definitely recommend and will definitely be coming back!

We really enjoyed staying in this house. There were a few challenges during our stay, but the host was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. Welcome wine was a nice touch!

I rented the house for my wife, two kids and some friends. We had a very great stay and a good time at the house. Everything was as expected and described by the owners. We had a very good communication with them before and during our stay. They are so lovely and helpful. Restaurants are close, also grocery store and a mall. The beach is just 7 minutes away by car and around 20-35min to downtown depending on traffic. Also once a week the house is cleaned with no extra charge. All together 5 Stars from us! Thank you very much.

Absolutely beautiful home in a gorgeous safe estate. Exceptional walks with breathtaking views. We felt like we’d had a month’s holiday in only a few days.

Tanya was thee absolute best ,a perfect host ,very helpful aswell as her helper ,the place was easy to find and I must say the pictures don’t do it any justice it’s a beautiful place clean and the kitchen has everything we needed for our stay ,the pool kept the kids busy as it was so hot ,she even gave us an extra day 🌸I must say she was one of the kindest individuals that have ever hosted me ,I appreciate all she did for myself and my family ..

Claudia ist eine super liebe Gastgeberin und hat eine zauberhaft schöne Unterkunft. Von dort ist es nicht weit ans Meer. Die Unterkunft bietet viele Möglichkeiten, die warmen Temperaturen gut auszuhalten und sich wohl zufühlen. Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt! Ich würde wieder kommen :)

We had an awesome time at Daniel’s place. The house is spacious and well apportioned and the location is ideal with a short walk to the beach and all the shops / restaurants in Sea Point. House is very well kitted out especially for kids with loads of toys and books to keep the little ones entertained. Ireen was also a god send - she kept the house spotless and also looked after our little one! We’ll definitely be back!

Superb place with a genuine ‘home’ feel to it. Lots of communal space inside and out and a gorgeous garden to enjoy. Tracy is a super host - responsive and shared loads of advice what to do locally. Hout Bay is a 10 min drive.

Me and the rest of the families would like to thank the entire team for a beautiful stay at this amazing home. The place felt like home and the kids and adults felt super comfortable right away ☺️ the surroundings are amazing close to the mountain range, great restaurants and plenty of amenities even in a safe walking range. The pool was loved by everyone, warm to the right temperature to enjoy all day and we also had amazing sunny days. The housekeeper Martha is amazing, we are so going to miss her she is the best! David the gardener kept the surroundings clean and the pool always ready. The only downside was that the bathtub in the master bathroom was not working due to a fault. All in all great stay, amazing family home. In terms of price it was high season and for someone who goes to CT every other year the cost of rental has gone up a lot and I would say we should be paying a little less then we did but I guess that’s the rise in what everyone wants. Jane’s glasshouse is a peaceful and thoughtfully designed retreat, offering a perfect place to unwind while being close to the winelands. The setting is tranquil, with attention to detail that makes the space feel welcoming and comfortable. Jane is a gracious and responsive host, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay. Rafa, her friendly golden retriever, is a delightful presence, adding to the charm of the place. We had a restful time and would happily return when in the area.
