We really enjoyed staying in this studio in the woods. It fit our family of four and our dog perfectly. We loved all the little details that came with the studio, including the helpful local hints, the well stocked kitchen and the labels everywhere that helped navigate the space. We cooked several meals in the kitchen and really appreciated the extra amenities of the waffle maker and mix. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to Yosemite and want to check out Mariposa and the surrounding area.

I had an amazing time at this house. The house was beautiful, it was the perfect nature vibe, it was easy to walk back and forth from the house to the dock. There were waterfalls all around the lake and fun trails to explore. I would absolutely go back.

This property is a hidden gem. The cabin is generous and common space with sizable bedrooms. Well appointed to feel right at home. The magic of this place is the serene surroundings and incredible views. There is much to explore on the 12 acre property, including a great trail, a wonderful outdoor game space with several options to choose from. Various seating areas, including a covered porch with spectacular views of the sunset. The lower level play area with three bunkbeds has an ample selection of board games and art supplies. Additionally, the host has a basket of welcoming dog supplies, including water and food bowl a large pet blanket and toys. The biggest challenge, maybe not wanting to leave the warm and inviting property.

Loved this house and beautiful, quiet location! It was perfect for two small family's to stay for the weekend. Perfect spot for kids with a game room, play ground, and outdoor space. Will definitely book again! Thank you!

It’s a beautiful place to stay in. Your surroundings are filled with nature. No matter day or night you’re surrounded by a wonderful view. It’s a breath of fresh air. During the night in the hot tub the night sky was beautiful looking up at the stars and moon. Truly was mesmerizing. Bernard is a wonderful host, responsive and helped with all our needs. If I have a chance I hope to come back again someday!

Jazzy and David were very welcoming hosts, definitely Super-hosts! They checked in to make sure all was good and responded quickly to my messages. The house was beautiful and the surroundings quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the game room. This was exactly the get away we were looking for and needed. We are looking forward to making this an annual trip! We definitely hope to stay here again next year!

Our stay was amazing!! Rachel was helpful we were able to check in sooner than our regular time! Home was spotless clean and felt like home!! It is a beautiful place to stay and spend quality time with Family and friends! Hope to be able to come back soon!

Our stay at Lisa and Seth's place was great. Their home is very nice and set in a beautiful location. We arrived late on a rainy night, and we were so thankful that the house was warm and welcoming when we went inside. We settled right in and slept great while we were there. They have comfortable beds and linens. The home is conveniently located near Oakhurst where we met up with family. I would love to come back in the summer when the weather is nice so we can enjoy the backyard. I would recommend this place to family and friends without hesitation!

Second time here, and honestly, it was even better than the first. This place is great for a getaway. You don’t have to go anywhere else, this place has it all. Views, hot tub, pool, tv, fire pit, it’s great.

One of the best Airbnbs I've ever stayed in. B'ful place and so thoughtfully done. Every corner thought in great detail and attention. The gesture by the host to get us fresh cookies on arrival won our hearts. I wish we could stay longer. The airbnb itself is worth a 2-3 day stay over.

This place was beautiful. You won’t regret it. Would definitely come back. We were there in the rain and still enjoyed the scenery very much.

We had the most amazing time and the resort in general is absolutely beautiful. Everyone was so helpful and friendly and our dogs had a great time too. We can't wait to visit again soon.

Our family with small children and 2 dogs felt right at home. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials for cooking so you dont have to buy every ingredient(spices, seasonings, oil etc). The yard and pool is fenced so no worries about dogs or kids jumping in the pool without your knowledge. Our favorite part was the spacious warm living space and the jacuzzi right outside the back door. Our toddler enjoyed “swimming” multiple times a day, thank you so much for sharing this home. We would love to come back again for sure!

Leslie’s place was really great and in close enough proximity to Yosemite, especially if you want to get to Mariposa Grove. It has the capacity to host a lot of people, and it’s great for a family gatherings. The property was clean and inviting and served as a wonderful home base for our short getaway from Los Angeles. Highly recommend.

5 Stars! When you can open your door to the woods you know it’s gonna be a good time! And that’s what he had! Close to Yosemite and 5 mins from the town make it all worth it! (internet could be better. Of course we didn’t come for that but just a small upgrade would help.) Thank you!!

Carl. and Jennifer's blue door house was the perfect place for us to stay after a fun day in Yosemite! The house is 1 hour from Tunnel View and then only 10 minutes north of Oakhurst. The house is situated in a quiet and beautiful area 3 minutes from route 41. It is surrounded by trees and mountains. The 2 bedrooms were perfect with firm, but comfortable mattresses on the king sized beds. There was plenty of sitting space on the very large couch, a nice TV and fireplace in the living room. The temperature in the house is controlled by a Nest type of device which is easy to figure out. There is a wall heater in the bathroom which felt great while getting ready. There is parking for 1 vehicle right by the front door. The house has a big elevated deck with a propane BBQ. We brought our pup and he felt very comfortable at the house. Carl & Jennifer are clear about their dog rules for their dog friendly home which I appreciated and felt were very fair. I highly recommend staying here!

This was my first trip with my girlfriend and our dog, and definitely not our last in this cabin! The area is peaceful, the home was super clean, and the fenced area for our dog was really helpful. Our dog really loved the space being able to roam freely inside and outside of the cabin. Loved the gated doors if you want to just hangout in the porch area with your pet or let them loose. The cabin was equipped with everything from all types of kitchen ware to warm blankets. The distance to Yosemite Falls was only about an hour drive. Loved seeing the wildlife around the cabin such as families of deer. This cabin definitely felt cozy and comfortable. The washer and dryer came in handy as well when returning from hikes so traveling light with clothes is ideal when staying here. At no point did we feel unsafe especially at night. Communication with Steve was very informational and rapid. Had the best experience overall and looking forward to booking our next stay here again!

I would HIGHLY recommend this place. It was beautiful, comfortable, and well-equipped (even with board games for a fun night with family). The kitchen had everything we needed, including nice pots. Truly well-equipped place, had plenty of extra towels, and a full-length mirror. The beds and sofas were comfortable. There’s also a lovely balcony behind the house. It was cleaned up nicely, making for a perfect stay to visit Yosemite. The area was so peaceful and private. I’m looking forward to coming back!!

Super cute cabin! It was clean, well-stocked, and spacious. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. It was about an hour to 1.5 hour drive to Yosemite depending on traffic/what part of the park you were headed to and 20 minutes from Mariposa. I would definitely check out Sierra Cider (5 minute drive) if you stay! Overall, we had an amazing time and would definitely stay here again.

Janet’s cottage was perfect for a quick getaway from the San Francisco Bay Area. A 2 1/2 hour drive and we were in the cute mountain town of Murphys. The cottage was as described - private and roomy for the 2 of us. The kitchen was well equipped for our early morning breakfasts. The walk into the town was quick. We walked to dinner both nights. Wine tasting and shopping in Murphys, hiking in Calaveras Big Trees and Arnold Rim Trail made our 2 night getaway perfect. We had an issue with the heater remote control (batteries were dead). A text to Janet and the housekeeper and the problem was resolved in no time - spare batteries in kitchen cabinet! All in all a great choice for a couple looking for a quiet, but centrally located stay in Murphys and its surrounds.

Our family of four had a great two days at the cabin. The cabin was very tastefully furnished and felt like home. It was cozy and all the amenities one could expect including a family room with games and books. The house was squeaky clean and the fireplace was a great touch. The surroundings were quiet and very private. We skied at Dodge Ridge which was 20 min away. Overall a memorable weekend for our family and we plan to visit again this summer.

Eric and Melanie's space was just what we needed! It was home away from home. The open yard was paradise for our fur baby to play "mountain dog" and the chair swing under the oak was my happy place. It is the perfect spot to watch the sun sets and listen to all the wildlife. We saw tons of birds, deer and even a coyote roaming in the morning! Our hosts were friendly and always available. The bed was super comfy and the wood stove heated the whole place all night. Our morning coffee was serene on the front porch, and town (Oakhurst), Bass Lake, and Yosemite were moments away. We will definitely come back. Thank you!
