Thanks for your hospitality for my bad luck I crashed my car during the night of my stay and well... I guess this things sometimes needs to happen for some god's reason. For my good luck it was only a car damaged in the middle of comayagua Boulevard because of the around-about that is not properly iluminated at night so I didn't enjoy my trip too much because of that and my stay was so efimer but I liked the place, is not too easy to get access or driving at night to arrive. But the house is very comfortable and I really appreciate the spots available to drink something or just talk with friends. However, like I said before I'm gonna need to schedule another reservation in the future because in this trip I didn't enjoy too much for my personal tragedy with my car but everything was good about the place and I felt great during my short stay. THANKS 🙏🏻 😊

nos encantó Villa Guanacaste, es fácil para encontrar, fácil para llegar, muy bien organizado, totalmente limpio, un lugar esepcional, una gran distribución las habitaciones y las camas eran de gran calidad, muy bien climatizada, cada habitación tiene aire de muy buena calidad, bastantes áreas de recreación, se pasa muy bien en familia, definitivamente lo recomiendo, 10 de 10, el administrador estuvo atento siempre a todo y responde rápido a las consultas, asi que es un lugar muy lindo y lo recomiendo ampliamente.

You get the whole place. It's in a secluded area, you have total privacy. While there are no options for restaurants, attractions, & shopping within walking distance, you can easily\safely grab public transportation & pay between Lps. 20-100 ($1-$5) to major cities such as Comayagua (15min), La Paz (15Min), Tegucigalpa (1Hr)-recommend traveling during the day only if you’re using public transportation in Honduras. If you’re using your own transportation, this place allows you to travel anywhere at any time. Private security is provided at nighttime. It is within 5-10 minutes of the airport (XPL). If you’d want transportation, please talk to host prior to arrival; they’re very responsive & accommodating. Enjoy the pool & bar area. All amenities are rustic-looking but functional. This place is run by a not-for-profit, APUFRAM, which provides boarding & school for families in extreme poverty. I’d recommend asking the host for a tour of their facilities in El Conejo, La Villa & Flores.

Un lugar maravilloso, el clima fresco, si buscas paz y tranquilidad es el lugar correcto, un agradecimiento a don Luis y su familia nos hicieron sentir como en casa siempre atentos a cualquier petición o necesidad.

We enjoyed our stay. The pool and the dogs were the highlights for my children. Sofia and Jose were so helpful. I assumed there would be an oven but there was only a stove top. Sofia offered me an oven in another house but I was able to make due. I feel the kitchen was lacking in basic items but I had brought most of what I needed. I fell that if I hadn’t Sofia would have found what I needed. She went above and beyond. We had problems finding the right road out of Marcala. My cellphone lost reception several times also making it difficult to call the host. Once we got through he was patient and stayed online with us to find the right road. The house was a little small for the 6 of us but the outside space was great. Beds were comfortable and lots of blankets and towels were supplied. Jose took us on a hike to the waterfall. Thank you for the relaxing stay.

The place is clean, comfy, and exactly what is listed. There are regular signs marking the back roads to the entrance, however, the quality of the road is quite bad (bumpy at best, a mud river at worst), so keep that in mind.

Overall a great place to stay when needing a bed to crash for the night. We arrived in the dark and it was easy to find thanks to the numerous signs posted on the road. Check-in was easy and smooth. The only issue we had was that the hot water wasn’t working at first in the morning. The on-site staff, caretaker was able to get it working after a bit. The AC works great, the room is HUGE, and the place is secure. It’s a bit off the main road, but an inexpensive place to stay for the night!
