WOW! I can’t say enough great things about John’s Airbnb and John himself! What an absolutely amazing host, and equally amazing home!!! John’s level of attention to detail and thoughtfulness is unlike any other Airbnb experience I’ve ever had!! I’ve already been sending this Airbnb link to all my friends who are going to Brazil !! I honestly can’t wait to be back. The location was PRIME!! John’s recommendations were FANTASTIC! The Airbnb was IMMACULATE!! Everything was absolutely incredible and I can’t thank John and his co hosts enough for such a great first time experience in Rio De Janeiro, if you need a place to stay in Rio, BOOK FAST. And stay at least a week!!! Wow, can’t wait to be back. Thank you so much John for a great Airbnb experience, you certainly have elevated the standard of expectations now which will be hard to beat! We will certainly be back, and certainly booking with John once again!

This apartment is centrally located and close to many restaurants and only a few blocks away from the beach. There is a lot of activity due to it being right next to the Metro station which adds to the lively feel of the apartment. The doorman and doorwoman of the building are super kind and helpful. We really enjoyed them. The apartment itself was very clean and Lea was very responsive. Thank you for a wonderful Stay Lea.

Fué una experiencia agradable, el departamento de Paulo superó nuestras expectativas, tenía muchos enseres, y se nos permitió salir un poco más tarde de lo descrito en la publicación. El grupo de 11 personas quedamos muy satisfechos. Recomiendo este lugar a familias y/o grupos de amigos.

honestly, a phenomenal stay. Alex was a great host, easy to check in, beautiful home, clean, quiet and spacious, despite us travelling during carnaval. He even left a welcome basket for us. Couldn't have asked for a better spot - also a 5 min walk to the beach

My second stay at this apartment and it was as fantastic as my last stay. Carlos is a real gentleman who really cares and looks after his guests. He left provisions for a few days which was much appreciated after a long flight. He checked in regularly to make sure that all was ok. The apartment is well located with an amazing view. It is walking distance to restaurants and a grocery store. The pool is well maintained and very quiet during the week. The daily complementary housekeeping is an added bonus to keep the apartment spotless. It has all the amenities you need to feel right at home. I cannot wait until my next visit. 100% recommended.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour (6 nuits) dans le logement, il était parfait pour nous 4 (2 adultes et 2 enfants), le quartier est super pour se balader et découvrir le street art + accéder au tramway, les bars et restaurants sont excellents aussi. Laurent a été disponible dès l'accueil, Brigitte nous a communiqué toutes les informations nécessaires à notre arrivée en amont et Angelica nous a bien aidée pendant tout le séjour. La décoration est magnifique, la vue très chouette, les matelas très confortables, et que dire de la terrasse avec la piscine ! Nous avons tout adoré, rien à redire. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter et recommanderons ce logement à nos amis!

the place is very nice, clean and safe. the neighbourhood is great, close to good restaurants and really close to the beach.

Edgar’s place in rio is even better than the photos. Me and my friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We felt safe and had great access to many places in Copa. Would highly recommend!

Leandro was very responsive and flexible with the check-in and check-out. The apartment is located at the best area in Ipanema, close to the lagoon, the beach, restaurants and still very residential and silent.

Valerie é muito querida e esteve sempre disponível para nos ajudar no que preciso. Alex nos recebeu muito bem e até saiu do seu caminho para nos trazer mais toalhas e lençóis que tínhamos pedido. O apartamento é lindo, aconchegante e muito bem localizado perto da praia.

Love the stay. The building was extra secure. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Communication was top tier and even went above and beyond with some request we made. I will definitely recommend and plan and staying again whenever we are in this beautiful city!!

Estuve unos dias con mi marido y mi hija. Es tal cual como lo describe Anya. El complejo es lindisimo y tiene todas las comodidades. Pileta (enorme!), gimnasio, espacios de esparcimiento, juegos para niños (lindisimos!!!) Tambien es muy seguro ya que cuenta con seguridad privada y diferentes dispositivos para el ingreso. La zona es muy tranquila y segura para pasear y caminar. En frente hay un parque , un supermercado y un patio de comidas. Aparte esta la laguna y algunos caminitos para recorrer. La zona es algo alejado para quienes quieran ir todos los dias a la playa. Pero no son mas de 15 minutos en Uber. Esta a 5’ del Barra Shopping en auto. El departamento esta impecable. La cocina muy completa, los cuartos y baños muy comodos. Todos los ambientes tienen aire acondicionado. El balcon aterrazado es ideal para desayunar o sentarse a tomar algo a la tarde. Anya fue siempre atenta y servicial dando explicaciones claras! Lo recomiendo enormemente y sin duda volveria!
