We had a fantastic stay! The hosts were incredibly welcoming, and the river access was a highlight. There were plenty of options to play in the water, and the soothing sound of the river at night made for a peaceful and relaxing experience. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed—from a fully stocked kitchen to a comfortable shower. The mattress and pillows were exceptionally cozy, ensuring a great night’s sleep. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene getaway!

My family and I spent a magical week in Costa Rica at France's home. We made so many wonderful memories! The house is beautifully designed and impeccably maintained, both inside and out. The salt water pool was a source of great enjoyment. We often swam after breakfast and again after dinner, often going late into the evening. Sonia, our chef, and her crew prepared some of the best meals we had in Costa Rica. They also kept the house clean and in good order, a real task given we were nine travelers ranging in age from 2 to 75! We spent many days just relaxing at the house to spend time with each other and take in the beautiful ocean view. Anggie was an excellent host, and responded very quickly to any questions or requests. For a wonderful time in Costa Rica, I highly recommend this home!

Overall, this was a wonderful location in the heart of nosara. Being able to walk to the beach and any local restaurant is one of the best aspects of this home. What a great place to stay! We would absolutely stay there again! The property management company was a little offputting particularly how they attempted to charge us $60 extra just to meet us at the house after 6pm. Unfortunately, our flight and travel was delayed putting us in Nosara later than expected. In spite of these circumstances being out of our control, the company wanted us to pay the $60 for someone to meet us at the property upon arrival. Given the keyless entry of the house, I declined needing that service, and we were able to access the house independently and were not charged. As I said, overall, we would absolutely return to this property. It was a perfect location for everything we wanted to do, and the house itself was great as well. Thank you!

We loved our week stay in Playa Hermosa. The view is amazing and the house was the perfect size for us. We loved the gym, deck and pool. Ian was super helpful with scheduling activities. The best part of our stay was definitely having Rebecca come every morning and make us the best breakfasts ever! She is a superstar and even helped us with our Spanish. We will definitely return and would highly recommend visiting!

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb. The house is larger than the pictures make it out to be, and their host and concierge services were the best I’ve experienced. Air conditioning in every room, and plenty of space. Location is about a 15-20 min walk to the “start” of the beach, but recommend renting a golf cart as the road is busy and you’re uphill on the way back. One thing to be aware of is there isn’t much shade in the back by the pool during the heat of the day. Only one sun umbrella was available and handful of lounge chairs. We also found the kitchenware, particularly the knives, to be quite worn out, so consider bringing some of your own if you plan on making meals. Excellent stay, great value.

I can’t say enough about Jennie and her beautiful home. Our family of five all had enough space to spread out. She provided a lot of recommendations and was very responsive which is nice when you are visiting another country. Her recommendations were spot on and we had a blast visiting this beautiful part of the world.

My friends and I had an unforgettable experience staying at Casa Sal y Sol! It was our first time in Costa Rica, and we were looking for a place that was spacious, safe, and conveniently close to the beach—and this place truly had it all. The house is about 30 minutes outside of Tamarindo, and really was the perfect balance of a laid-back surfer town but also had charming restaurants and local spots. The house is very close to the beach, making it incredibly easy to run back if we forgot anything, and the beach itself was peaceful and uncrowded. Each room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. My guests and I slept great! One of the highlights of our stay was the housekeeper who came daily to tidy up and make the beds. She was incredibly friendly and also helped those of us wanting to practice our Spanish. We all agreed that this Airbnb was absolutely worth every penny. We’ll definitely be returning and recomend it to any family or friend group looking to enjoy Costa Rica!

We stayed here with three families with kids. Hacienda Pinilla itself felt safe, accessible, friendly, and easy to use as a home base for beach exploration. The house was incredibly beautiful and well set-up for a large group. Lovely home base to return to after a day of adventure.

The place was in the perfect location. Right by all the restaurants and bars and super close to the beach. My buddies from surf school ended up staying at the hotel right across the street so it couldn't have been more perfect for me. I had originally only plannes to stay two weeks and decided to stay an extra. William was a great host. Very response with the booking and while I was in town. He gave me great tips and recommendations for my trip and I also ended up doing private yoga classes through one of his friends.

El apartamento tiene todas las comodidades para pasar una estadía en Tamarindo. Está ubicado al lado del Restaurant Sofía que es una gran alternativa para ir. La ubicación sin dudas es muy conveniente ya que está a 100 metros caminando de Playa Tamarindo y muy cerca de Playa Langosta. La comunicación con los propietarios fue muy rápida y siempre estuvieron disponibles. Incluso para brindarnos algunos detalles extra para la casa. Recomendable tanto para una estadía corta o más larga. Gracias Hassan, Mehmet y Ned!

Our family could not have had a better experience. Arun’s place is peaceful, luxurious, and truly a respite from the hustle bustle of life. Everything was spotless and the concierge was so helpful. The beauty and relative ease of life made us all relaxed, better versions of ourselves. We skipped renting a car and opted for arranged transport to and from the airport, and we rented a golf cart. We were so glad we did! The streets felt safe and we enjoyed the short rides (minutes!) to the beach, shops, restaurants. Every member of our family remarked on how it would be tough to beat this place - the views, amenities, pool, proximity to good food and a world-class beach. The only downside of this vacation is that future trips may pale in comparison to this one :). Pure vida!

The gated community on the hillside overlooking Lake Arenal was a beautiful and serene setting to spend our time in Costa Rica. The room we stayed in was separate and private. We left the windows and screen door open, and the breezes kept the room cool enough where we never used the air conditioner. Listening to all the birds and surrounding wildlife was all we needed to feel relaxed for sleep. The location is on the outskirts of the closest town, so one word of advice is to get groceries before you get there because once you're there, you won't want to run back into town due to the last couple miles of unpaved road.

Ever war ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber! Besonders das Frühstück in seinem eigenen Restaurant, das im Preis inbegriffen war, hat hervorragend geschmeckt. Die Unterkunft eignet sich perfekt für einen kurzen Zwischenstopp:)

Everything was great during our stay. The location is perfect, near the beach, supermarket and restaurants. The room has everything you will probably need, also the shared kitchen is well equiped. The hosts are very friendly and the breakfast was definitely the best part of our stay.

Der Aufenthalt im Hotel Macao hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage am Strand ist traumhaft. Die Zimmer sind sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Mitarbeitenden an der Rezeption sind sehr nett und leisten sehr gute Arbeit. Ich habe mich an diesem Ort sehr willkommen gefühlt und habe die Zeit im Hotel Macao und Samara sehr genossen.

Kris and Marie are exceptional hosts. They have built their own peaceful paradise. We enjoyed the eco friendly and vegan hosting and we particularly liked that they were so helpful and communicative. They helped us book transport from La fortuna and they had loads of helpful recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The breakfast is brilliant. Very filling and the pancakes and Açai bowl we really enjoyed alongside our chai tea. This is a unique place built by them, with an eco toilet and they live upstairs while you have your own space and privacy downstairs. We also did the yoga with Marie which we really enjoyed and was worth every penny. The accommodation is on a steep dirt road which we did walk up a few times and used taxis when we were too tired. Kris kindly picked us up from where the shuttle dropped us when we arrived as it would have been really hard to climb up with our suitcase. We also got to see monkeys at the bottom of the road!

We loved our stay; the place is beautiful and spotless and the setup makes it easy to mingle with other people or to be private, whichever you like. Kyna and Elmer were extremely helpful when we had a couple of medical emergencies come up. The breakfasts were healthy and delicious; Marjorie and Kyna did a fantastic job with that. Elmer offered great suggestions about where to go for snorkeling and bodysurfing.

George es un anfitrión increíble, desde el minuto uno me hizo sentir como en casa, ademas tuvimos la oportunidad de tener una plática muy amena, es una persona muy inteligente y con muchos conocimientos, sin duda regresaría, me llevo muchas recomendaciones locales, así como literarias y una muy buena experiencia.

Dalia was so nice and gave us a warm welcome. We felt like family! There was another woman there that was also extremely nice. The breakfast was perfect! Great pitstop 20 minutes away from the airport. We ordered an uber to the airport and it was nice and easy. If we need a spot near the airport in the future we will definitely be back here! Wir haben in einem Container mit Blick in die Natur geschlafen, es war toll gemeinsam mit dem Dschungel aufzuwachen. Das Frühstück war lecker und auch das von der Gastgeberin gekochte Essen am Abend war gut, wenn auch etwas teurer.
