Ive been on Airbnb 8 yrs and this was the absolute best booking I've ever had. Both hosts are truly gems and if you're looking for an eco sustainable retreat away from it all ... Look no further than Andi and Angi casita .... the cooking was out of this world all sourced From their own farm and made with their own hands. You can feel the love and care they put into everything. The Casita is clean and extremely comfortable. I had the best sleeps there and the best food. I was so impressed I extended my stay. Always responsive they went above and beyond and I'm ever so grateful. I highly recommend.

That view! It’s a bumpy road getting there but worth it! Our family of four enjoyed our stay. It was so incredibly relaxing. The sunsets and the two horses really made it for us. You can relax on the front porch, have a bonfire, walk the trails, make a nice meal. A few tips - the final 4 mins up to the house are rocky. You won’t need a 4x4 in the dry season but the rocks are large so a high clearance vehicle will help. It’s 15-20 mins to get into town for a meal (and bumpy) so we brought groceries with us for the first night. Even a bag of carrots for Tornado and Jack. Also, Google maps navigated to the house really well. Silvio helped arrange a night tour with Michael Monteverde Wildlife Reserve. That was really amazing! Thanks for the awesome home, we loved it!

my family and I loved our stay here. right as you arrive, you're greeted by the wonderful host family and given a briefing of their property, as well as the town of Monteverde with plenty of recommendations. they even booked our cloud forest tour which was exceptional! the property was clean, peaceful, private and had stunning views of the valley. we will definitely be back, thank you!

Nous étions 6 personnes dont 2 enfants, pour un séjour de 4 jours. Tout s'est bien passé. nous avons particulièrement aimé la piscine, le calme du parc arboré, fleuri et particulièrement soigné, les animaux, l'allée et le sentier de promenade dans la forêt.. Eduardo, le gardien, était gentil et nous a aidé quand nous en avions besoin. Bref, nous avons adoré notre séjour.

La casa queda muy cerca de todas las playas , el lugar muy limpio , cómodo y tranquilo. Disfrutamos nuestra estancia.

Todo fue excelente, todos nos divertidos un montón tanto en la casa y como en el tour en lancha que nos ofreció el hijo de Ronald. Son muy amables, les escribimos toda una novela en un libro que tienen en la casa, la verdad nos gustó la experiencia y pensamos volver

La maison de Jennie est spacieuse, confortable, très bien équipée. Il faut un peu marcher pour accéder à la piscine mais c est rapide et on peut voir des oiseaux magnifiques sur le chemin. La vue est à couper le souffle. Jennie est très amicale, des fruits délicieux sont à l arrivée, Javier qui nous a accueilli est très sympathique. Top !

it was a wonderful part of our Costa Rican trip to stop here for 2 days. the cottage is as described, rustic, one with nature and surrounded by a beautiful setting and animals! Everything was clean and we really enjoyed the tour Alexander gave our family, which allowed us to learn more about a way of life that is respectful of nature and the resources we share.

Had a wonderful stay! House was beautiful and well-decorated, loved the outdoor showers in each bathroom. Kitchen was well-stocked. Even the housekeeper, who came twice during our stay, was wonderful and even brought us home-cooked food one evening. Leticia was very helpful with providing local recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed.

Wow! The view from Casa Khuba will stick with me for some time I hope. Perched above the canopy of the cloud forest, it became our afternoon oasis after keeping busy doing tours during the day. The home is well-equipped and worked out perfectly for me traveling solo with my 2 boys (11 & 13 years old). They stayed in the main house and I slept in the additional space which was darker and better for me as a light sleeper. Nelson, who works for Jean, met us at the driveway and helped acquaint us with the home and explain the gated entrance. You'll need a 4WD vehicle to get up the steep driveway but trust me, the views are worth it! The porch was my favorite place to hang out (with the Merlin App)and just listen to all the different birds around. We had planned to visit the Monteverde National park but Nelson suggested Reserva Curi Cancha and that was probably our favorite tour of the trip. The guide was so passionate and we saw rare hummingbirds that only visit Costa Rica for 2 weeks!

J’ai passé un super séjour chez Irene. En plus d’être très accueillante comme hôte, l’appartement était vraiment bien décoré je me suis senti comme à la maison. Et cette vue sur le lac arenal était parfaite et reposante. Le lieux est relativement loin des activités à la fortuna minimum 1:30 de route on way mais pour se reposer c’est parfait. Je recommande et reviendrai pour sure sans hésiter. Merci Irene

La casa es preciosa, tal cual se ve en las fotos, es una zona tranquila, la atención por parte de los anfitriones fue excelente, siempre obtuvimos una respuesta rápida a nuestras consultas, todo muy limpio, las instrucciones para el acceso muy claras, todo funcionaba perfecto, la recomiendo 100%, la pasamos muy bien!

Villa Burracuda is an amazing villa located in the heart of Playa Grande. The villa has ample space, amazing outdoor area and a large pool. One of the largest we have found in Playa Grande. Everything was exactly as described and has everything one could need for a sunny getaway. Within easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants and local shops, there is always something to do. Guanacasa Management team was beyond helpful and accommodating to our needs- from early check in, to fantastic commutation and even helped us when we had a personal issue arise. They are simply wonderful hosts and I cannot say enough good words about them! You will not be disappointed at staying at one of their properties. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay memorable!! Pura Vida!!

Tellement de choses à dire sur ce petit joyaux et ses propriétaires adorables ! Magnifiques bâtiments, propres et bien entretenus avec un jardin en croissance qui est et sera juste extraordinaire ( surtout les orangers 😉) Merci Nathalie et Patrick de nous avoir accueillis dans votre cocon et surtout de nous avoir laissé câliner Mani 💕 J'espère sincèrement vous voir si vous passez dans notre coin au Québec !

Absolutely incredible. I needed just a week end away from Samara and I found the is place. This was perfect. In the mountains, silence and a stunning view. One of the best sunrises I have ever seen. Breakfast is incredible and a big variety of choice. Definitely would recommend and will be back. Thank you 😄

We were a group of 8 people spending a week together for the first time. We had an amazing time and loved ‘our’ house and location. The presence of our housekeeper (Fresia) was undeniably the greatest benefit, and we are very grateful for her attention and responsiveness. Between Jennifer and Fresia, we felt cared for and heard. Both responded with speed and effectiveness and we were so grateful! Loved the area…Playa Grande and Tamarindo did not disappoint!!! Thank you Jennifer!

Hermoso lugar, lleno de paz y perfecto para desconectarse, se escucha solamente el sonido de la naturaleza. Es bastante accesible para cualquier vehículo, solamente si vienes en carro bajo evitar la ruta que pasa por Finca la amistad ya que no está en tan buen estado. Respecto al alojamiento, está en buen estado y bastante limpio.

The view over the lake arenal is just phenomenal! The house has a huge garden with some fruits, herbs & vegetables wich we were allowed to eat. We can for sure recommend.

House is on a dairy farm, cozy and comfortable. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking, thank you very much. You do need to buy your food before you go since it is a little remote. There is someone working in the middle of the night next to the house and that might bother you if you are a light sleeper. One of the bathroom does not have hot water at the time and it seems common that kitchen does not have hot water. We are ok since there is another bathroom has warm enough water for shower.

Just book it, you will not be disappointed. Absolutely beautiful and peaceful setting. Photos and listing are exactly as described - clean, well-kept, has everything you need. I was so happy getting to wake up on this property each morning and enjoyed star-gazing at night. I would 100% rebook this Airbnb if I were ever visiting this area, again. Thank you for the amazing stay.

Stayed at the lodge for a couple of nights. The place was wonderful and I would recommend! Looked just like the pictures. There are bugs around the property, obviously like other reviews stated, but they weren’t inside the rooms. The staff is wonderful and super helpful with whatever you need. We booked a chef last minute through the Airbnb for breakfast and really enjoyed that. We also booked a driver through the Airbnb - I wouldn’t recommend that. It’s a flat daily fee but the driver kept trying to charge us extra. They also kept severely overestimating the time it would take to get to places and severity of the roads and made us change plans even though we ended up getting to locations easily and early/on time. Mahar was great at helping us sort out issues with them though! If all of your itinerary is outside of the lodge, I’d maybe stay closer to that as the house is a bit out of the way. We chose it bc it was in the middle of Fortuna and Monteverde and worked well for us.

Had a great time at the goat farm. My daughter was crying because she did not want to leave (she will miss the goats, monkeys, horse and dog). Beautiful house and surrounding farm. Jean Carlo and his family were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They have a special sustainable farm and are happy to share it with you. Would very much recommend and hopefully we can come back one day, maybe to see the trees they planted even bigger next time…

Incredible home with breathtaking views that will keep you on the patio whenever on the property. The property itself is huge and you have full access to all of it, go up the hill for another incredible view or trek down the path to the river. Pool was plenty big for our family of 5, house was perfect. Listen to the birds and howler monkeys in the morning with the coffee and fruit tray provided by Josue. Drive to Samara is easy, loved Roots Bakery in town as well as Playa Carillo. We also visited Belen Waterfall as a break from the beaches, a good 1/2 adventure. A spectacular Air BnB if your visiting Samara!
