Great house, not so great management. The house has everything! Clean, walkable to anywhere, plenty of beach towels, you name it! They also provided a bag of coffee, some fruit & snacks. The pool is small (but deep) & is perfect to dip in. Bedroom air conditioners worked great (until the last night) & cooled the rooms quickly. The outside has a couch & hammock chairs - we loved it outside! However, the management (Jair, from Sámara Rentals) was not consistent. Sometimes he would respond timely, other times not. We were left without transportation once & late for an excursion after he said he would arrange a taxi & it never showed. He never responded/apologized when we reached out to him. One of the bedroom air conditioners went out on our last day & he gave us instructions to reset the unit & it never worked. He quit answering messages after that. We had to move a mattress into another room so our kids wouldn’t be in a hot room. Aside from the minor issues, we had a great time!

A l’interieur le logement est basic correspondant aux photos Le terrain avec son accès direct au Rio Blanco sa piscine et le gazebo est spectaculaire L’emplacement de la villa est parfait pour le parc, la chute Leona et l’épicerie! Nous recommandons!

Excelente estadia, lugar cerca de bastantes playas, lugar super privado perfecto para relajarse y descansar. La comunicación excelente, incluso nos permitieron hacer late check out lo cual se agradece mucho ya que íbamos con un bebé.

La maison est parfaite ! Nous étions huit personnes d’une même famille: trois enfants, trois adultes et deux grands-parents. C’était un endroit idéal. Près de tout, mais calme. Les chambres sont confortables, la piscine est magnifique, tout est là pour qu’on profite au maximum. La maison est à 10 minutes de marche de l’action de Tamarindo, à côté d’une épicerie et des services. On s’est déplacé à la plage en voiture pour aider mes parents, mais c’est faisable à pieds pour ceux qui ne craignent pas le soleil. Yira est une hôte exceptionnelle, elle a répondu à toutes nos questions, elle s’est assuré que la maison soit toujours en état. Le soir de notre arrivée elle s’est assuré qu’on avait tout ce dont on avait besoin. Elle a même ouvert les lumières pour qu’on se sentent accueillis. C’est un endroit que vous ne regretterez pas de louer !

Loin du tumulte de la ville de Tamarindo mais accessible à pied, la maison est chaleureuse, bien conçu et très bien équipé. On s'y sens vite à l'aise. L’accueil est très chaleureux. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les bières et l'eau au frigo à notre arrivé. Merci Sandi

Strongly recommend this accommodation. The thing that we really loved is that you enter the home, you're still technically outdoors the common living areas are exposed to the sky but the place is nice and private for yourself and your friends. The bedrooms are fully protected which made sleeping very comfortable. It was really nice being able to jump into the pool and then walk around the common areas without having to dry off. Location was perfect. It was a peaceful location but still within walking distance of everything so just left the cars and walked everywhere. Would definitely stay here again

We had a wonderful stay. The place was clean, quiet, and well-appointed. The pool was perfect. There is shade and sun in the perfect amounts. We enjoyed the many animals that came to visit during our stay. We often shy away from renting locations that are managed by property companies because the lack of quality of customer service. That was not the case this time. Our customer service was excellent!

A glorious property right on the Samara beachfront. We rented out all four units for our four person family which gave everyone plenty of space and freedom. The house was quiet and peaceful - neighbours were rarely seen. The ocean and waves were beautiful for a family swim. The area felt very safe, even at night. Maggie the property manager was a total gem and helped us settle in. Highly recommend this property for those who are looking for a walk-out beachfront property a little outside of town.

Our trip back to Tambor was the best yet! We had a wonderful time in the backyard oasis as well as having adventures in and around Tambor. The villa had all the comforts of home which made cooking dinners at the house convenient if we didn't want to go out. The grocery store in Los Delfines was a short walk away and had plenty to choose from and was restocked often. Thank you for being such fantastic hosts!

Logement exceptionnel ! Contrairement à beaucoup de Airbnb, celui ci n'est pas seulement réservé à la location mais est la maison secondaire du propriétaire et ça fait toute la différence. Il est très propre et très bien équipé. Tavi est aussi un excellent hôte.

This place was by far the shining star of all of our stays. We ended up staying here for 3 nights. If you are looking to just unwind and reset this place will kick start the pura vida in you. The place was spotless and welcoming. The host gave us local recommendations and they had been spot on perfect. Fishing and strolling the beach at this place was by far our favorite daily activity. I would recommend that if you come to stay that you stop at a grocery store first and stock up on supplies so you don’t have to leave. The nearest decent grocery store is about a 20-30 min drive. Overall I cannot wait to come back and enjoy this place again. I will be dreaming about it for months to come!

Hemos visitado Pinilla ya en varias ocasiones. Para nosotros su ubicación y seguridad es lo más valioso. Por dicha, en está ocasión nuestra estadía estuvo a la altura con la casa y sus anfitriones Verónica y Mahomet.

This place was phenomenal! There are no images of the outdoor area which is the best part of this Airbnb in my opinion. And we loved that the small pool at the house was perfect, safe, and covered for our 5 young children (21 months - 6 years). The bigger pool is also an option and only a short walk away. Great location! The beaches nearby were beautiful and not busy. We did a short drive up the coast for a SCUBA trip with Manta Rays which was unforgettable.

Such a nice place! We were traveling with 4 young adults and the 2 casitas helped to give everyone some privacy. So nice to be able to walk to the beach but you can also drive if it’s easier. House and pool are beautiful. The construction next door is loud at times but, after a while, it becomes like white noise.

Bertha and Kamal hooked me up with a local guide who helped me throughout the week. The house was nicely appointed, very clean and everything worked. Linens were of good quality. AC was good. Kitchen well equipped. The location is fantastic if you like the lush tropical rainforest vibe with lots of wildlife. Saw sloths, monkeys, Toucans a variety of birds and even an armadillo.. Proximity to Tenorio and Miravalles National Parks is excellent. Bijagua is a nice town and you get a feel for the real Costa Rica. I plan to return.

Stunning and private place. The house is beautifully designed for feeling immersed in nature and has a wonderful layout. The pool was long enough for swimming laps which was great. Love this place.

We stayed at Johan's place from Feb 1st-8th. Their place is exactly like the pictures. They have it fully equipped which is great when you're "away from home but it feels like home!" It's in a gated community so you feel safe and close to everything. We really enjoyed the terrace and the pool! Thanks so much for having us!!

Jackie was an amazing host! She is very willing to help with any questions. She was fun to be with and lives close. The beach was beautiful and safe to swim in. We are a group of 4 couples and the space worked well for us. We highly recommend this property and will return.

The house is perfectly designed to accommodate a large group, kids friendly, clean and well located, about 7 min walk to the beach. Alex was super nice, allowed us to check in earlier, provided very clear directions and check in instructions. She always responded quickly, provided great local recommendations, and connected us with a great chef, who turned out to be cheaper than any restaurant and prepared enough food to last for days. Our family of 10 really enjoyed the house :)

Nous avons séjourné 10 jours chez Benoit. A proximité de la plage. Nous avons fait quelques excursions et au retour nous nous sentions comme à la maison. Endroit tranquille. La climatisation fut très appréciée dans la chambre. Arbol de la vida porte bien son nom, il y a une multitude d'oiseaux qui s'y trouve. Benoit était toujours disponible pour répondre à nos demandes. Merci aussi à Jander pour son aide.

This was the perfect place to stay as a family. Our two kids loved the pool, and the horses on the property. Great location, close to supermarkets, local restaurants and 10 minute drive to Tamarindo and beaches. I can’t emphasize enough how special this place was and how comfortable our family felt being there. Would 100000% go back. If you needed anything the host was super responsive and helpful. I can go on and on about this place. I would definitely recommend it!
