We absolutely love this place. This is our second year in playa Potrero. We have looked at multiple places in the area. This is by far the best location. On the beach, it has an amazing view. It is also close enough to all of the restaurants and bars. No need for a car or golf cart unless you want to travel out of town. We have visited multiple beaches north and south of there. This is a place that we would chose hands down. We like a chill environment with good bars and restaurants in walking distance. This is it!

This was our second time staying here which speaks for itself. The location is perfect down on the quieter side of the beach/town, but literally minutes walk to everything town has to offer. We are already planning our next stay. Thanks Nick & Helene!

Beautiful little studio in the heart of the southern Beach Town neighborhood.

Dana place is beautiful. Right on the beach, many activities and tons of delicious restaurants. The studio was super clean and location is very safe. Parking was a breeze. Host was awesome. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Our family could not have had a better experience. Arun’s place is peaceful, luxurious, and truly a respite from the hustle bustle of life. Everything was spotless and the concierge was so helpful. The beauty and relative ease of life made us all relaxed, better versions of ourselves. We skipped renting a car and opted for arranged transport to and from the airport, and we rented a golf cart. We were so glad we did! The streets felt safe and we enjoyed the short rides (minutes!) to the beach, shops, restaurants. Every member of our family remarked on how it would be tough to beat this place - the views, amenities, pool, proximity to good food and a world-class beach. The only downside of this vacation is that future trips may pale in comparison to this one :). Pure vida!

En cuanto a calidad-precio me parece bastante bien. Un apartamento pequeño pero cómodo para pasar la noche en una zona tranquila y cerca de la parte turística del puerto.

We greatly enjoyed our stay here at Paula’s place in Tamarindo. The place is soooo clean and beautiful. It is on a a very large hill so walking to the beach or anywhere in town will require a workout. If mobility is not an issue than I highly suggest staying here!

This was our first visit to Costa Rica. We knew we wanted some beach time and my kids like to have a freshwater option so a private pool was a must. We learned that Playa Grande was the ideal location for us. Great beach, so many fun shells to play with, and after an afternoon in Tamarindo (no!), we knew that we picked the right place. Opposite of touristy, party, loud. Except DO take her warning of construction seriously, the project next door is ongoing. However, the host was apologetic and helped navigate to the best of her ability and we got over the early morning noise. There was also a surprise power outage for 6 hours that became a blessing in disguise, because it forced us to escape the awesome air conditioning and go bake in the sun and surf. Our car was stuck inside power gate. Nothing could really take away from the beach, backyard bbqs and monkeys! The restaurants nearby were also excellent (pricey). Buy food on the way in, grocers did not have meats nearby. Amazing stay!

Have to say, we’ve stayed in a lot of different places but this one “takes the cake!” We thoroughly enjoyed staying at The Beach House. Anything you would need was available-kitchen well appointed, plenty of towels (in bathrooms & for beach), plenty of chairs on covered porch for when all 5 of us wanted to sit together as a group. We loved having the pool, the tiki hut, & easy access to the beach! Everything was very clean when we arrived & kept clean all week we were there. Ileana, the housekeeper, & Alexander, the groundskeeper, were very sweet & helpful. Of course we loved Missy always greeting us with a wagging tail! The setting of the property was awesome & the view out to the bay breathtaking! We would definitely look into staying at this property again if coming back to Costa Rica!

Our stay at Elisabeth and Michael's home was fantastic! We felt as though we had stepped back in time to the early 1900's. They have done an amazing job restoring the place while retaining the original character. Their home is truly a work of art. While there are a few modern conveniences one might find missing, we had everything we needed, were very comfortable and felt completely at home. Michael's breakfast was wonderful and he was always ready to help in every way possible. Our conversations with our hosts were captivating and one of the hi lights of our time in Costa Rica! It is quite apparent that Elisabeth and Michael love Puntarenas and Costa Rica. That affection is quite contagious and we found ourselves more in love with their country having visited with them in their home for a few days and would definitely stay with them again.

This golf course community is a very laid-back, secure way to spend a week in Costa Rica. it's got more of a community feel than the authentic Costa Rican experience. Christy's place has anything and everything you might need to head out into the country and visit beach, refuges and other excursions with ease. This house is ready made for families or couples. We rented bikes from a local 17-year-old, who is in the neighborhood, but there are also golf carts available and a nice restaurant on site that is beachfront. I thoroughly enjoyed the free yoga class. I took beachfront on the last morning I was there.

We had a lovely memory at the Blue house. The beds were comfortable, the host Anisa was very helpful and quick response to our questions. The landscape was well maintained and pretty. The stair to the river in the backyard is very sturdy and picturesque. We would definitely stay here again.

OBSESSED. The views, the space, the communication, the location… y’all. We’re sooooooo happy with our stay!!! We felt like kids in a candy shop exploring this house. It’s just SO beautiful. The decor and amenities inside are super thoughtful. The views are breathtaking!! We loved sitting on the porch sipping coffee, reading, etc. We loved the proximity to Father Rooster’s—a sweet little restaurant close by. It’s super tourist-friendly, but still felt authentic. Check in was smooth, after making contact with the on-site security (which we greatly appreciated!!). Communication with our host throughout the process was flawless! A couple of things to note: 1) The A/C units worked perfectly in the bedrooms; keeping the main living area cool during the heat of the day was a little tougher. But you are in Central America, after all! 2) The main bed was too soft for us. 3) Keep in mind that CR is a developing country, this house is on the edge of the neighborhood, and CR driving is nutty!

I loved my stay at this container home in Nosara. The space is beautiful, and I really appreciated clear directions to help me find the place and tips for getting around and recommendations for things to do. I was debating renting a car and was really glad I did. Great stay, overall.

Situated down a small street and protected by a high fence sits this beautiful property. With mango trees and the sound of the Pacific Ocean as you fall asleep this is where you go to completely get away from it all. While it sleeps 10 (!) we were a family of 5 and enjoyed the serenity of this rustic location. Currently it has no air conditioning, which was actually just fine, but it will be coming in July. Now it's something like upscale camping and you will find nature making its way inside your rooms, so don't be surprised when you see ants on the walls or a crawly thing hiding in your pile of laundry. This is one of the oldest places in the entire town and you just have to embrace it. Because on the plus side Dona Flor makes amazing food and to get to the ocean you just have to open up the back gate and then come back to one of the two outdoor showers and relax in a hammock. It doesn't get more amazing than that.

What a beautiful, well appointed and spacious oceanfront condo this is. The view is just absolutely stunning. The kitchen has everything you can need with kitchen staples available in pantry and fridge. Even a dishwasher! The lanai is the best place to be with the ocean breeze and sunsets. The beds were very comfortable with AC and fan and the sound of the waves. The pool is very large and deep perfect for refreshing laps. The beach at low tide allows long walks all the way to playa blanca or for drinks at BernarDos. We would love to come back again.

Ron’s place was outstanding! Amazing location, tons of amenities, and super clean and spacious. We appreciated how responsive and easy Ron was to work with. Do yourself a favour and stay here!

Wonderful view of the water from the moment you walk in the front door! We didn’t get tired of looking at the water or listening to the waves on the large deck. We traveled with another couple and there was plenty of space for everyone. Although we didn’t cook in, it appeared there were ample plates, silverware, cooking utensils, pans, etc. There was a coffee maker, microwave and a blender, but no toaster. The beds in all rooms were firm. The white sand beach in Flamingo is beautiful and my favorite in Costa Rica. The town of Flamingo has several restaurants/bars and the Flamingo marina is also very close. You can walk to the beach, restaurants/bars and marina, but the condo is up a steep hill. We elected to rent a golf cart and were also able to see Potrero and Brasilito. I loved the location of the condo and we had a great time.

Review for Ray We stayed at Ray’s place for 5 weeks. From the get go Ray has been an awesome host. We had problems with our airline and had to change our dates maybe 5 months ahead of time. Ray responded almost immediately to my request for changes and made my whole dealing with the airline that much easier. During our stay, every single time we asked for something, Ray was there to answer or fix things. Superhost for sure. As far as this place is concerned it is fantastic, the view is outstanding, watching all the boats come back to the marina after sunset every day was an highlight for us. The Condo is equipped with pretty much everything you need for a long stay. The beds are very comfortable. The linens are high quality and the beach towels were awesome. As for every place you rent, there are a few little things that work well but could use an update. But certainly nothing to worry about. This is probably our nicest rental yet. We tried to book again for next year but sadly

This place was amazing and exactly as described. We have a family of 4 (2 kids aged 11 and 9). This place was very quite which we loved (only 3 cars in the parking lot for our entire stay). Lots of things to do and places to eat within walking distance. The marina nearby is only a few years old and is beautiful. Nicest one I have ever seen with plenty of shops within it. The beach is nice due to it's location. The water is a little calmer than the beach on the other side of the point. Beautiful sand and felt private compared to some of the other popular beaches. Would come back again!

Excellent hosts and perfect apartment! Everything was super clean and organized and we had a perfect stay. The apartment is great for a group and has beautiful views of Conchal. Had an excellent stay!

We had a great time at this apartment. It was great for my family & I to have beautiful views of the beach and some quite when we needed to relax and unwind. The walk to the beach is simple but after the first day we started driving down since it was easier than lugging the kids and beach stuff back up the walk. Overall a great place, comfortable, lots of cooking supplies.
