a little oasis in antigua. spotlessly clean, and just an extremely pleasant and serene place away from the hubbub of downtown Antigua. Staff and owner are great too! Not a lot in the immediate neighborhood, but a 15-20 minute walk to downtown, and easy to get an Uber for $3 or 4.

We had a wonderful stay at the house. It has a quaint patio and lots of character inside. The house is perfectly located and within walking distance of the major sites. The amenities at the house are definitely older, but worked just fine. The staff were helpful and waiting for us outside the property when we arrived to help us with our luggage. The place was quiet, and was located right next to one of the most recommended restaurants in Antigua. The only room for improvement would be to have air conditioning in the bedrooms or larger area fans - very small portable fans were provided, but did not cool the room down much. We would certainly come back to this house as it had a lot of charm and was centrally located.

The house has all you need. The rooms are spacious, each with their own private bathroom. Sindy is super helpful and answers quickly.

This place is beautiful and the hosts are very friendly. The place is about 15-20 minutes from downtown Antigua, so you will need your own car or you can also take Ubers, which is what I did. There is no gym, but they have some free weights if you need. The hosts are very responsive and helpful and live on the premises. Note that bringing over friends or guests during your stay is a limited possibility. The pool is great and the views of surrounding volcanoes is too.

I had a wonderful stay at Alotetango House. The service was excellent—staff were attentive and made sure everything was perfect throughout my visit. The facilities were top-notch, and I especially appreciated the stunning view and the beautiful pool, which made for a truly relaxing experience. Highly recommend!

Alessandra’s house is fully equipped and well located (in a nice and secure neighborhood) just a 10 minute walk to Antigua’s central park. Had a wonderful weekend, highly recommended!

My wife and I appreciated waking up to the sound of nature from inside Karla's beautiful villa. The villa itself is particularly beautiful in the way that it was designed and constructed. There's plenty of space with an open-feeling to the room along with a delightful balcony that is most exquisite. The solitude of total relaxation is the warm invitation to this villa. We felt very safe in the gated community found in an upscale part of town. It's located within walking distance to the center square as we walked back and forth several times for the exercise. If you get tired, there are plenty of tuk tuks available to take you around. Karla was most welcoming and was quick to respond to our needs. She helped to resolve any issue we had and even arranged last minute transportation to Panajachel when we needed it. Out of all the Airbnb listings that were available for the price, I'm confident that Karla's place was well worth the value to stay there.

It is very safe, has private parking, and is clean and comfortable. Close to all the activities in Antique. I will stay again when I am back in Guatemala. Recommended!

Our family of two adults and two teens had a great stay here. The house was beautiful, spacious and in a peaceful, calm, gated community. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms well maintained, showers had hot water. We loved the atrium and garden in the center of the house. The kitchen was well equipped and we especially appreciated the filter for drinking water. Next door is a beautiful plant nursery that has a nice restaurant and shop. The house is about about 8 or 9 blocks walk to the central park. Velvet was very friendly and responsive. Perfect stay.

Rick was a wonderful host and very accommodating to our check in/check out schedule. Rick, Ricardo and Jose were also very response to questions and request. The breakfast prepared by Ricardo and Jose was excellent and being able to just sit on the roof for breakfast and chatting with the rest of our party was such a relaxing experience. Having the cleaning/maintenance done each day was also very much appreciated with our group's schedule. The space easily accommodates the 12 people max that is posted - there were enough bathrooms and space for everyone. We would highly recommend this stay for anyone!

We had an excellent time at this house in Antigua. Host was incredibly helpful and responsive, and allowed us to check in early due to our very early flight arrivals. The house is amazing, with the outdoor pool area being an amazing spot to hang. What really stood out was the staff that is there to help, so amazing and helpful. They shopped for us and cooked us a breakfast and lunch that was absolutely amazing, better than restaurants. No need to go out in search of local food when you have them. Had an amazing time.

Romeo and Wendy are extraordinary hosts! Would give them 10 stars if I could! We were able to meet them in person and they are lovely, warm people. The apartment is beautifully decorated with bright guatamalen style colors and beautiful artwork. The kitchen is well equipped, bed very comfortable, and plenty of hot water for showers. There is a private balcony off the bedroom that is great to enjoy the morning sun and the cool evenings. Orotava villas, beautiful grounds and wonderful staff. Nice heated pool. Many nooks to relax and enjoy the quiet, calm atmosphere. It is a very secure, safe property with a security gate and guard. The location is superb… walk to edge town is only 10 and to parc central about 20 minutes. There is a complimentary shuttle you prefer. Antiqua a wonderful city full of charm and warm people. If you visit Antiqua Romeo and Wendy villa is the place to stay!

If you are looking for a private get away, camping type location this is the place for you. Few things if you are coming from the United States, no AC or washing, it gets hot but with the fans the sleep is ok. Make sure you go grocery shopping before you go in because food and restaurants are not easily accessible. The host Carlos will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy, he was the best host you can ask for and I would go back.

Stayed 4 nights with family in Feb 2025. Excellent accommodation & facilities with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, full kitchen, washing machine & drier, TV with streaming services etc. Didn't use the pool but looked nice. The casita is tucked down the back of a gated community so is very secure & quiet. An oasis in a busy town. It's probably 15 mins walk to the Parque Central with a couple of surprisingly good Asian restaurants nearby (Masil for Korean, Wow Thai). We also enjoyed Por Que No and Maxan. Julie & team were super-responsive & we appreciated the late check out on the last day. Recommended.
