Cecilia’s house is wonderfully located on a hilltop with unimpeded views of Cortona and Montepulciano. It is an incredibly quiet and peaceful place set among the vineyards and olive trees. The pool and the terraces immerse you in this wonderful landscape. The house itself is spacious, with all of the comforts you would expect. Cecilia also offers a range of experiences in the area, which we did not have sufficient time to enjoy. Given the warm and energetic welcome she offered and the extensive range of personal recommendations for visits, restaurants etc, we have little doubt that they would be very fun indeed. A total delight.

Nestled in a stunning landscape, the villa is a marvelous retreat that captivates with its beauty and generous space. Meticulously maintained to uphold high standards, the villa's kitchen is thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Furthermore, each room is fitted with its own shower and toilet, ensuring privacy and convenience for all guests. The pool adds an extra touch of wonder to the experience. As for the hosts, Alice and Jacopo, they are simply delightful, providing warm hospitality throughout your stay. I wholeheartedly recommend this exceptional villa for an unforgettable getaway

La casa è meravigliosa! Situata un posizione splendida, con molta luce e molto sole. Il giardino è molto curato e la piscina assolutamente perfetta (con trampolino con cui i miei ragazzi si sono divertiti tantissimo!). gli interni sono davvero molto ben arredati e curati in ogni dettaglio. Non abbiamo dovuto portare nulla, se non i nostri vestiti (c'era praticamente tutto: asciugamani, lenzuola, teli mare, etc etc). le camere sono davvero grandi e confortevoli. il supermercato è vicino così come altri negozi che possono essere necessari. gli host sono stati sempre molto gentili e premurosi (Hans sempre molto presente). uniche note da migliorare: la TV non funzionava (è venuto subito il tecnico 👍🏻 ma non è stato possibile ripararla), lo scarico del WC non funzionava bene, c'erano parecchi nidi di calabroni sotto il tetto e non si potevano tenere le finestre aperte. in generale il soggiorno è stato bellissimo e consiglierei subito questa casa meravigliosa!!

We really enjoyed our one week family holiday staying in this villa. The house, garden and pool are as described and absolutely gorgeous! The weather was extremely hot so we particularly appreciated the beautiful pool as well as the possibility to eat outside in the well shaded area overlooking the pool. Also, there is a plentiful supply of tableware for outdoor use which is very practical. The location was ideal for visiting destinations such as Assisi and Montepulciano, but it was also great just taking it easy and enjoying the garden, pool and views. The villa is 10 mins by car from CDL although the last part is on unmade roads which can be quite bumpy. We found Google Maps worked best for navigating to/from the villa but led us astray on occasions - Beware! Alessandra was a great host. She was there to welcome us on arrival and explain everything we needed to know. Throughout our stay she was very responsive to our questions and recommendation requests. We recommend this villa!

We had a lovely stay at the villa - Daniel the manager was very attentive and nothing was a bother! Even when my wee one needed medical attention he was on hand for advice and support and checked in regularly to ensure we were okay! Great location, close to lots of great towns and food places. We had a wonderful stay and will be back!

This Villa is heavenly! The interior is gorgeous, comfortable and has everything you need - all the while retaining a sense of the history of the building. The gardens and the pool are lovely and inviting. The terrace is the perfect place for many long, leisurely dinners. The views are spectacular. We never wanted to leave the Villa, but when we did, we had easy access to many lovely Umbrian and Tuscan hill towns, wineries, ceramic factories, cooking classes, etc. We really enjoyed having a chef (through Daniela) prepare several meals. We dream of returning often! Communication with the host was easy, excellent and very helpful. Ten stars!

We had a great and relaxing time in Villa Lamatra. Marco and Roberta are perfect hosts and the Villa is a dream! The pool is very big and the house has everything you need. I definitely recommend this Airbnb.

What a beautiful home in a stunning location - even better in real life. Perfect for our 2 families. A complete escape - totally private and quiet with spectacular views over the surrounding countryside. There is a perfect place for every part of the day, whether swimming in the pool or having a leisurely breakfast or dinner outside (or inside). Beautifully designed interior, from bathrooms to antique furniture and art and a very well appointed kitchen. Every detail has been thought of, and it is also very comfortable and family friendly. Eva was a friendly and responsive host, and we were grateful for her long list of recommendations. Endless day trip opportunities by car, including stunning hill towns (e.g. Urbino, Gubbio, Todi) and the coast (e.g. Sirolo). Honestly could have spent the entire time just relaxing at this beautiful home! Would love to return.

Estávamos em um grupo de 13 pessoas, 4 famílias. A casa tinha muito espaço, todos com privacidade. Casa impecável, muito confortável. Jardim amplo, mesa de Ping pong e piscina que infelizmente não pudermos usar porque era inverno. Área Barbecue excelente. Não sentimos falta de nada! Obrigada Frederic

We really enjoyed our stay at Caroline’s place with friends and family. The place is as pictured and Caroline was so helpful with recommendations for things to do and day trips. She also graciously agreed to keep the pool open a few weeks longer than normal so our kids could enjoy it. The surroundings are beautiful and we really enjoyed sitting out on the patio and watching the sunset. We would definitely consider Caroline’s place again if we go to Tuscany.

Het verblijf in Perugia was ronduit fantastisch. De omgeving is prachtig en heel rustgevend. Het huis zelf is zeer smaakvol ingericht en biedt alle gewenste comfort. Een belangrijke troef voor de warmere dagen is zonder meer het zwembad in de mooie tuin achter het huis. Samuel is een uitstekende gastheer, zeer vlot bereikbaar en steeds zeer reactief. Een absolute aanrader, hier kom ik zeker nog terug!

For our family vacation, three couples and a 1-year old, the place was perfect. The ability to spend the heat of the day in the huge pool or inside the refreshing lodging made the stay excellent. The place is close to groceries, pharmaceuticals, restaurants, local sites, cities, etc. Ken was always responsive to whatever issue we brought up and his quick replies were greatly appreciated.

Bevagna is a perfect location for exploring all of Umbria. Villa Trabalza owner Luca is a gem. He is very responsive, has great suggestions for squeezing the most out of the region. He works well with Leonardo making our holiday wonderful. The home is very comfortable with plenty of space and nicely appointed. The kitchen is well equipped allowing for us leisurely breakfast, preparing delicious evening meals and an in home cooking class. The setting is magic among the olive trees and grape vines. The views of Assisi, Bevagna and Spello shimmering is the distance is sublime. Sitting on the porch staring into the distance and Mt Subasio is transcendent and will fill you with gratitude for how many wonderful things this world can provide. We invited various family members for their first visits to Umbria and they were overwhelmed with the beauty, history, kindness, food, wines and goods they discovered. Villa Trabalza is a rare gem.

We had an amazing time here. The house was perfect for our extended family and the pool and gardens were delightful. Irene was responsive and incredibly helpful with our requests for our young children. We couldn’t have asked for more and would highly recommend Irene and her house.

Villa dei Melogani (Pomegranate Villa) is cinematic, something from a movie. It lives up to its billing, offering a huge country house to share with friends & relatives & many spaces for enjoying the outdoors: orchards, vegetable gardens, a small bamboo forest, wild blackberries, a backdoor patio under the oleanders where a fox visited us one evening. The standout feature is the pool. It was the key reason we chose this particular property and it did not disappoint—huge enough to accommodate all seven of us and long enough to enjoy a daily laps regime. It also kept us cool through super-hot August days. Milan-based owners Alberto & Lucia were ultra-responsive & full of fun local suggestions. Orietta left the place spotless & gave a welcoming tour. Groundskeeper Giuseppe was a daily delight—dropping off gigantic fresh tomatoes, eggs, & baskets of wild blackberries. Umbertide is also beautiful, a hilltop mediaeval gem of excellent restaurants & history. Would go back in a second!

Wir waren begeistert von dieser Villa. Sie war sauber und es war alles vorhanden, Die Handtücher und die Bettwäsche werden 1 x wöchentlich gewechselt. Das Poolwasser wurde fast täglich gemessen und gereinigt. Die Vegetation um das Haus herum ist üppig, so dass niemand von außen reinblicken kann. Aber Achtung: wo viel Grün ist, sind auch viele Mücken. Alle Fenster haben Fliegenschutz und sind vergittert, so fühlt man sich sicher, wenn man für mehrere Std. Unterwegs ist. Das Tor von der Einfahrt, die im übrigen ziemlich steil ist, lässt sich elektronisch öffnen und schließen. In der Küche befindet sich alles was man fürs Kochen braucht. Der Grill steht auf der Terrasse. Auch in der Küche hat man die Möglichkeit auf heißer Platte zu grillen. Alle Schlafzimmer, haben Klima, bis auf 1 von 2 Schlafzimmern im Erdgeschoss. Ventilatoren, Waschmaschine, Kühlschrank, Bügeleisen, Föns und eine Kaffee-Kapselmaschine etc. sind vorhanden. Ein Traumhaus & ein Traumurlaub! Muchísimas gracias Silvia. 😊

Esperienza indimenticabile in questa bellissima proprietà. Ognuno di noi 12 ha goduto del massimo comfort e relax. Stanze ampie ed accoglienti, ambienti comuni ben arredati, cucina dotata di tutto, giardino e terrazze esterne dal quale la vista è mozzafiato. Un luogo affascinante! Consigliamo assolutamente a tutti coloro che amano la tranquillità e desiderano visitare i più bei borghi e città dell'Umbria e Toscana.

The villa is spectacular -- both inside and out. We were among the first guests to stay at the villa, which sits on a hill overlooking Cortona and Camucia. Stefania is very responsive -- starting with our very first question about the villa prior to booking -- something we very much appreciated. Stefania's colleague, Beky met us down the street on arrival and we were able to follow her to the villa, which sits about 300 meters down an unpaved, dirt road. We drove an SUV from the Netherlands so this wasn't an issue, but guests with a car with a lower transmission should take note. Beky greeted us with homemade pici and fresh tomatoes and basil from her garden. There was also a tart sitting in the kitchen to welcome us, along with a bottle of wine. Very nice and thoughtful touches! The villa sits on a hill surrounded by mature olive trees, with a gorgeous view of Cortona (approximately 10 minutes via car). The villa is also in a great location if you want to sightsee and take day trips in the area -- Lake Trasimeno, Arezzo, Florence, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Siena, San Gimignano and a multitude of wineries are all easily accessible from Cortona. Inside the Villa: The villa is absolutely stunning, incredibly spacious and stylishly appointed. There are a total of 5 bedrooms (each with a comfortable queen/full size bed and en suite bathroom) and a total of 6 bathrooms in the villa. Each bathroom features a shower, sink, toilet & bidet). The property sleeps up to 15 people (5 queen beds + 2 queen size sofa beds (ground floor and second floor) + 1 twin sofa bed in the master suite on the top floor). The front door opens from the ground floor into the kitchen with a large island, kitchen table and family room. The kitchen is very well appointed with everything needed for cooking and there are 2 refrigerator/freezers. The family room features a large TV and very comfortable couch, which converts to a sofa bed for 2 people, if needed. The kitchen table has chairs for 15 people. Just off the kitchen are stairs down to the laundry area. There is an "all-in-one" washer/dryer along with 2 large drying racks, an iron and an ironing board. As the weather was warm and sunny, we chose to dry all of our laundry on racks out by the pool. Upstairs from the kitchen are 2 bedrooms, both with en suite bathrooms (shower, toilet, bidet and sink). On the left there is a full bathroom, along with another family room with another comfortable couch/sofa bed for 2, large TV and another family size table with chairs. Two sets of french doors open onto the terrace, pool and BBQ area. On the top floor, there are 3 bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms. The master suite includes a large oversized chair that coverts to a twin sofa bed, and also has a desk and chair. The master suite french doors open to stairs that take you outside down to the pool. The pool, terrace and the grounds: The infinity pool and terrace are amazing -- as are the views of Cortona. The water temperature of the pool was cool and refreshing. As we stayed in August and the temperatures hit close to 100 degrees Fahrenheit/40 Celsius), we spent quite a bit of time at the pool. The fountain in the pool runs on a timer and there is a bluetooth-enabled speaker so you can listen to music. The terrace has 2 large parasols/umbrellas, 2 patio tables with 15 chairs and ample sun beds and sun chairs. There is also an outdoor BBQ and pizza oven. The terrace overlooks the pool and is the perfect spot for a late afternoon aperitivo while the last rays of the sun sparkle on Cortona. The villa is also very private -- it's peaceful and quiet. We heard nobody around us, with the exception of a donkey braying in the distance on occasion. The lawn is thick and lush and a variety of flowers, rosemary and lavender have been planted recently. Stefania is a fabulous host. She and her colleagues were all very responsive, thoughtful and kind -- and the villa is exceptional in every way possible. We very much enjoyed our stay and are already talking about rebooking for next year!

Mario and his daughter Francesca are wonderful hosts with the most amazing property in Umbra! We were a big group of 18 friends, and Villa Mari was the perfect place for us because it is comfortable, stunning and has the fasilities for a big group who wants independency. Mario was easily in reach at any time if we had any problems. The property lies besides two other houses, but it feels very private and like you are all alone on the hill side. I cannot describe how beautiful the nature is, and the villa is also even better than in the pictures. Thank you very, very much Mario and Francesca! We hope to see you again:-)

"Soggiorno perfetto! 🔝" Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno indimenticabile grazie all'ospitalità eccezionale del nostro host Paolo e di sua figlia Giada. La casa era esattamente come descritta (anzi, ancora più bella!), pulitissima, accogliente e dotata di ogni comfort. La posizione era perfetta per esplorare la zona, e il quartiere tranquillo ha reso la nostra permanenza ancora più piacevole. L'host è stato incredibilmente disponibile, sempre pronto a rispondere alle nostre domande e a fornire suggerimenti utili. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Andrew. Sa maison est magnifique et très agréable. Nous étions 9 et nous n'étions pas à l'étroit grâce aux 4 chambres et 4 salles de bains. La maison reste fraiche pendant la journée malgré les fortes chaleurs. Le jardin est très bien entretenu et bien fleuri. Les différentes terrasses sont très appréciables surtout celle ombragée par une superbe glycine. La piscine est parfaite avec sa plage et ses nombreux transats. L'environnement est très calme et la vue très belle. Andrew nous a fourni de bons conseils que nous avons suivis pour nos visites quotidiennes. Nous sommes tous ravis de notre semaine de vacances, les petits comme les grands.
