We enjoyed our stay. The staff was very attentive, kept the place very clean provided breakfast, even going as far as to let us know when the pancakes were hot so we could enjoy them! The beachfront access was a big plus, and the walk to town was reasonable. There is also a small store across the street. The surfboards were for a small fee for the day but we didn't end up using them because we were not confident with the rip tide. We were able to go in the water, but stuck to the sandbars and where the rip was less strong. If you have 3 people, they will add a twin bed to the room. The whole place had maybe 6 rooms so was very quiet.

I can’t say enough about Casa Del Encanto. Our room was spacious , colorful and delightful. The common courtyard and dining spaces felt like we were in the middle of a magical jungle, complete with butterflies and birds. The breakfasts always included fresh local tropical fruit and juice, yogurt, granola, and a different delicious egg dish each day. Laura and staff were always available for input on local activities and opportunities. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Fuimos muy felices en este lugar! Barra de Potosí es un paraíso y el alojamiento es muy bonito. Estamos agradecidos con Isis por sus atenciones y los desayunos, definitivamente volveremos.

Right on the beach and quiet area!!! Lovely spot and staff, very private feeling even if sharing living areas and kitchen. Great included breakfast and short walk to any restaurants Troncones has to offer. Well kept Casa and secure parking available. Thanks for everything.

This was our 10 time to the village of Troncones - our normal place was booked and friends of ours had stayed at Delfin! This place is amazing!! What a great experience with the staff and other patrons as we had the opportunity to create lunches and/or diners every day inthe common kitchen! Delfin and the staff are truly special! Had to adjust plans at the last minute in order to stay another night and Glen and Maria were more than accommodating. Would and will stay here again if the opportunity affords!!!

El lugar es como lo vez en las fotos, me hospede en el cuarto rojo, el cual es muy amplio, la cama deliciosa al igual que las almohadas. el clima fue perfecto así como la playa. Comi durante mi estancia en la Enramada la condesa, muy recomendable, vale la pena la distancia.

We loved our stay in La Casa del Encanto. Sadly Laura was away during our stay, we were looking forward to meeting her. Everyone in town knows her and you can feel their admiration when we mentioned her name. Lucie and Martin were there managing everything, and they are a most special couple with warm open hearts who could answer our questions, provide local advise, and they also offer yoga and Spanish lessons. As everyone says, Issi’s breakfasts are incredibly fresh, plentiful, varied and absolutely delicious. All the rooms are different, funky, and Mexican. If you are looking for 4 or 5 star this is not for you. There is no A/C however more than enough fans to keep things cool – sometimes we even turned the fans off. The open air concept is an amazing feeling which we loved, and we just laughed when a cat and a bat decided to visit our room! Every day when we returned to our room it felt more like home. At night all the fairy lights and candles are calming and magical.

Maru and Joaquin’s place is simply magical. Nestled in the hills of Playa La Ropa, it was perfectly located to walk and explore both Playa La Ropa and Centro. Be warned, the reviews are true - lots of hills (but a cheap taxi ride can solve this) and the steps up to the home are no joke. The entire staff was extremely helpful and friendly (thanks Sergio for carrying our bags up the steps)! We will absolutely be back!

A fantastic trip! The staff onsite are great! The views are spectacular. 100% recommend and 100% would like to come back. You're on the La Ropa side, but still walkable to Centro and all the great restaurants and beach access is right across the street. A good amount of stairs, but that's literally true for anywhere on the La Ropa side of Zihua, and very much well worth it.

The stay was lovely! I recommend this place it was close to everything. I could walk anywhere and taxis were easy to catch right in front of the place. Joaquin, Sergio, Narci and Christina were always so friendly and helpful with anything I needed. I couldn’t have been more happy with my stay. I would stay here again!

The accommodations were exactly as described. The stairs are no joke, if you are not in decent shape, it might be rough. The breakfast in the mornings with the other occupants was always delightful. It was great for building community and finding out about the hidden treasures around town. Absolutely delightful stay!

We would return in a heartbeat. The only part I’d suggest change is the fruit & coffee served was perfect but I’d maybe change to a nice baked good or croissant. The bread came across as an epic fail given the beauty of the place. The kitchen & cleaning staff were lovely. Thank you.
