The house was in a lovely, peaceful setting (I spotted deer, a heron, turkey, even a fish leaping out of the water), and the house itself was larger than I expected and had everything you need. Overall, I had a nice stay--Sunny was very communicative.

From the minute you walk in the door you smell the clean fresh air of a cottage that has been well taken care of and kept very clean. The one reason that we chose this cottage was the extra touches from the decor, to the mint by our bed and the bread and sweet rolls awaiting for us. This is not a cookie cutter place, but a place where someone cares about it and puts in those extra touches and love to make it a relaxing and enjoyable time for the guest who have the privilege of staying at Red Cottage Hideaway. We have stayed in two of the three Cottages and both have been extremely well cared for and very nice.. A huge thank you to those who take care of these beautiful Cottages. Your hard work and care does not go unnoticed.

Stephens place was great! We had a nice, quiet, and peaceful weekend away. My husband and I enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and just being able to have a break from real life. ❤️

The little cottage was perfect for a Christmas getaway. Quiet, relaxing, and peaceful. The fireplace adds so much to the space and really ties it together. We would happily book again.

The cottage was absolutely charming—exactly as described and perfectly suited to our needs. We were greeted by the rambunctious and vocal resident geese, who added such a fun touch to the experience. The ambiance was pure tranquility, and the hot tub offered the most peaceful relaxation, free from any distractions. Nice cottage with lake views and awesome porch. Outside space made the vacation for us. Only one of the bathrooms usable for showering because of the low crinkling in basement but were able to work it out fine between the 5 of us. Would stay again

Had a wonderful time staying. Peaceful surroundings and had a great time walking up and down the river while dog, finding new smells and got to see some wild life. The cottage felt right at home and was a cozy stay for the evening. Would recommend for anyone looking for a private get away.

We had the privilege of a few months stay. Absolutely everything is as described. Beautiful state of the art appliances down to the toaster. High speed internet that never went out. Many bathroom towels, washer and dryer, pots and pans, dishes flatware and GREAT neighbors. Local restaurants are fabulous to visit or have delivered and not overly priced. A great stay by ALL means. If you can book it I would recommend. ZERO complaints. Thank you Kelli!. Great rental.

I had a wonderful stay at this little house with my family. We love animals and it was wonderful to get to have ponies and chickens right outside in the back yard! The chickens were so friendly that my kids could hold them, and the ponies loved all of the attention. The decor in the home is beautiful and fits the theme. The jetted tub was wonderful for relaxing- my only suggestion would be to have a privacy screen for that area. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of places for everyone to sleep. The kitchen was big and had all of the essentials for us to cook during our stay. Miriam was a wonderful host- she was very responsive to any questions we had and any help we needed. We will definitely be staying again next time we visit the area!

Traveled with my wife recently to visit family in Ohio. This cottage was very comfortable and welcoming. Woke up on the second morning to the trees covered with a layer of snow. It was a beautiful winter wonderland, if only for a day. Tim and Melissa were gracious hosts, and check-in/check-out was easy and seamless. When the time came to travel back home...we did not want to leave.

We had a great time. Lots to do in Amish country. House was close to restaurants and Amish theater. Nice size table for playing card games.

We loved our family stay at the Pond Cabin - us and our two furbabies! So peaceful, even with the main home occupied.

Highly recommend this host and home! The location was convenient to all local attractions and views of the lake were nice. We were impressed by the beautiful decor, amount of space, and ALL the thoughtful amenities. This host seriously thought of EVERYTHING! We look forward to visiting again in the future. Plenty of seating inside outside for the 6 of us girls who stayed over the weekend. Decent fire pit, nice views, quiet, and private. Comfortable arrangements in the bedrooms with the beds and comfortable furniture in the living areas. Great kitchen for cooking and everything was clean.

The place is in pristine condition inside and out. Very comfortable and it feels like home. Safe neighborhood and the roads are well maintained, especially in the winter

What a wonderful stay! Each rm had a king sized bed and they were all decorated really nice. The beds were sooo comfortable! There are two living rooms, both with TVs and nice couches. The upstairs one even has a gaming system for the kids! The downstairs living rm with the big, comfy couch was so cozy. Perfect for napping, watching movies, or playing one of the games stored in the coffee table. The bar area is nice for hanging out, or for extra seating if the kitchen table is full. The kitchen isn't huge but was just fine and had everything we needed. All the appliances are newer and nice. We liked the big balconies and decks, although it could use a refresh. The kids enjoyed the firepit, making Smores, playing cornhole, kayaking and fishing off the dock. Dave did a really great job in making this a wonderful, family friendly, place to stay with lots of amenities and fun things to do! He was also prompt in getting back to us on any questions we had. We will definitely be back!
