Lovely location, very peaceful and private. Very cosy and had everything we could need, tea coffee biscuits and milk were there for us. Loved the feel of the studio with the log burner and the pictures and ornaments made it so homely. Bed so comfortable and we had the best nights sleep. Thank you

We had a terrific four nights at the Boiling House. Everything about the cottage, the village, the amenities, the area, the walks, and everything else, was superb and exactly what we wanted out of a (too) short break. David is great… communications, access, knowledge, etc. was perfect, and we had some nice chats when we bumped into him in town. We’re nothing but really happy with everything and can’t thank David enough for providing such a great experience.

Fabulous stay. It was definitely a home rather than a stark, sterilised air b & b, which we liked. Easy access instructions. 1 minute to the harbour and beach. We spent Christmas in this wonderfully cozy house. The location is spectacular, lots of great walks near the property. The home was well appointed with throw blankets on the couches, a full laundry room, and soft and fresh towels and linens.

We had a lovely short break. The cottage is located perfectly for visits to the coast and local towns and villages. The courtyard garden was secure for the dog and lovely to sit in the sunshine. The cottage had everything we needed and Adrian was really helpful. Thank you for having us.

Beautiful house in the upper part of Runswick Bay with easy access to the beach and Cleveland Way. It was perfect for our family reunion (six adults and 4 children). it’s a large dormer bungalow, maybe a little dated but with modern bathrooms and well equipped kitchen which were spotlessly clean. Despite it being the coldest weekend in Britain for 10 years we were cosy with central heating, extra oil filled radiators and wood burners. Susan was the perfect host with good communication and many thanks for leaving us plenty logs. The toys which are mentioned in lots of reviews were great for the children. They even ventured to the bottom of the garden to the play area which was fantastic but too cold to stay long. We would love to stay in this house again maybe in the summer months to take advantage of the beautiful garden, eating al fresco and taking in the views of the bay and Kettleness in the distance.

Josh's house was lovely- lots of space and thoughtfully well-equipped. Josh was great at keeping in touch and ensuring we had a good stay. It was warm and comfortable and we would definitely return to such a special place.

It was so lovely to stay at Steve and Janes place. The house is kept to a very high standard and extremely clean. Parking can be tricky but we did manage to get close to the house in the end. Neighbours were very quiet which was lovely. We told Steve and Jane that we would be staying on the way back from Scotland, after our wedding, and they decorated the house in celebration for us. Such a lovely touch, which made the stay that little bit better. Would absolutely recommend the house.

A great place to stay,in an ideal and convenient location. Thought the key situation would be a bit complicated but because the instructions were so clear, that it was quite simple. The apartment was spotless, the equipment was good and easy to use. Furnishings were very good and comfortable. Beds very comfortable and heating system very easy to use. Everything had a very spacious and welcoming feel to it. We would definitely use this apartment again. We had a very enjoyable experience.

Great host and lovely place to stay. Great facilities with a well equipped kitchen. Mark was only just a text away which was of great help. Massive thank you for our last minute booking due to our last place cancelling on us.

Absolutely fabulous apartment with superb sea views. Well equipped with everything you need, modern comfortable furnishings, well equipped open plan kitchen, lounge with two comfortable chairs in the bay window to make the most of the seafront location. Close to a nice seafront cafe and a sandwich shop and walks along the beach.

We loved our stay here. It’s in a fabulous location in the heart of the town - but still very quiet at night. Lovely cafes less than 200m away! We were attending a wedding at the Rushpool Hall which is only a 6 minute drive away. Claire recommended a taxi firm to get us home in the evening and they were bang on time! Everything was perfect! Thank you so much. It made our week!

Wonderful place. Close enough to town to be easily walkable but far enough away to be really peaceful. Everything you need is provided. Rooms are finished very well and you instantly feel relaxed. If we go back to Whitby we'll definitely book again. Thanks 👍

Stephen’s cottage is truly a gem! Situated in the perfect spot, it offered breathtaking views that made the weekend even better. We were lucky to have amazing weather during our stay, which was a wonderful bonus. Stephen went above and beyond with clear directions, a handy information booklet, which included recommendations for walks around the area, which added so much to the experience. The home itself was spotless, cozy, and incredibly welcoming. A special highlight was the friendly visit from a gorgeous cat on Saturday morning, followed by a charming stroll through the beautifully maintained garden. This stay was everything we hoped for and more. Highly recommend!
