The cottage was absolutely lovely, cosy and welcoming, everything you needed, home from home. I wanted to get away from it all and this property certainly provided me with a great location to explore the coast, lovely walks with my dog and was so quiet, it was heaven. If you want to hear real stillness and nature at its best, this is the place for you. The Bed was really comfy with good showering facilities, couldn’t fault it. Simon and Jo very helpful and friendly, introduced themselves to me. I will be back soon. I was just wondering if What three words would help re location as I did struggle with locating the property. This is in a great location right in the middle of of the old part of Whitby next to the Captain Cook museum with views of the harbour. We loved it. The flat is spacious and warm and comfortable. It was particularly lovely to have biscuits and milk on our arrival and supplies of dishwasher tablets, laundry liquid and toilet paper.

Great place. Felt at home right away. Very comfortable beds. Will be returning in the near future. Saltburn didn’t disappoint. Thanks Peter Phil and Mandy

thank you Jen and Brian for such a magical stay! we couldn't have asked for more! everything was magnificent, the extra touches to mark Stephen's birthday was touching and memorable, I was also surprised with a bottle of Prosecco, went to view bridal dresses but never found one I liked and brian and Jen were so sweet and still gave it to me lol thank you both! we recommend this place highly, the pictures don't do it justice, you need to experience it yourself. we loved the cosy corner, playing darts, sitting by the fire, chilling on the beach chairs ( i must have these now for our garden lol) and the hot tub is the best we have ever been in. the garden is just stunning and comes alive at night! the bed was super comfy too, got such good sleep. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to go again! thanks again to our attentive and wonderful hosts!

Great two bed, two bathroom flat on ground floor only 5-10 mins walk from the centre of Durham. We based ourselves here for exploring the university and it worked well for that and well as the town. Very handy for a good Italian restaurant only 2 mins walk away.

Fabulous stay to see Durham and the surrounding are. We had a 6 month old baby with 4 adults and the place was brilliant for soundproofing, but enough WiFi for the monitor and Senna was happy to help in any way. Would recommend and come back again! Thank you.

A great place. We had the mother in law with us so the downstairs bedroom and shower room were brilliant for her. Easily accessible with a lovely host. We will stay again when up visiting next time! Thank you Cate.

Great stay for our family with a toddler. Had everything we needed and was comfortable and spacious.

Beautiful house in the upper part of Runswick Bay with easy access to the beach and Cleveland Way. It was perfect for our family reunion (six adults and 4 children). it’s a large dormer bungalow, maybe a little dated but with modern bathrooms and well equipped kitchen which were spotlessly clean. Despite it being the coldest weekend in Britain for 10 years we were cosy with central heating, extra oil filled radiators and wood burners. Susan was the perfect host with good communication and many thanks for leaving us plenty logs. The toys which are mentioned in lots of reviews were great for the children. They even ventured to the bottom of the garden to the play area which was fantastic but too cold to stay long. We would love to stay in this house again maybe in the summer months to take advantage of the beautiful garden, eating al fresco and taking in the views of the bay and Kettleness in the distance.

Lovely trip to Whitby. Elliot's pad is well equipped and comfy. My son mentioned it also being a great "hide and seek" house! Well located to walk into and around town. Elliot was a responsive host who welcomed us at the property. Would recommend.

Seldom is where we stay one of the highlights of our trip, but this townhouse definitely was. It was absolutely amazing. It was warm and comfortable after coming in from our chilly all day excursions. The beds were comfortable, the house extremely clean and the amenities absolute perfection.

Stylish cottage in a quiet location and only a few mins walk from the high st. Only thing I would suggest to improve is providing more toilet roll (no spare rolls) and some tea/coffee/sugar would have been nice to arrive to. There is a Morrison’s less than 5 mins walk away so it was fine though, it didn’t spoil our stay and would stay again.

Superb central location with great views across the harbour and HMS Endeavour. The apartment was spotless, easy to access and provided us with a quiet, comfortable and relaxing sanctuary after busy days of walking, sightseeing, shopping, eating and drinking. Would most definitely recommend Stephen’s place and we hope to return again in the near future.

a fabulous apartment with a great host, in an really good location with a fresh selection of restaurants withun 10 min walk as well as supermarkets and other shops. Well equipped kitchen, and good coffee. loved the balcony with a view over the marina. This was my third stay so that should tell you how awesome I think it is.

What a lovely apartment to stay in Durham! Chris was so nice to meet me there and show me everything with the apartment. The apartment is all new, very comfortable, with a beautiful peaceful setting on the river! He even bought me some food to get me through the mornings. It was so conveniently located to the town. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this apartment!

What a lovely part of the country.I stayed here as I was attending my friends wedding at Howard Court. The accommodation is outstanding, despite it's size the little touches and thoughtfulness were in abundance. The best part of my stay was that Rachel's husband gave me a lift back to the venue to collect my car. Now that is service and going above and beyond! Thank you both so much x

I stayed for 3 nights while doing a short course. The apartment is situated in the middle of Darlington. It’s a beautiful location with old cobble stone streets mixed with modern coffee shops, restaurants and even a cinema, a short distance away. The apartment was spotless, modern yet homely, a perfect base to explore or as I did, study for the following day’s studies. Highly recommended!

Beautiful clean high quality cottage, perfect for 2 people, greeted by John and Lyndsey, such friendly hosts without being intrusive. Very welcoming to receive a some vital items on arrival like wine, milk, bread, butter, jam and more. Fabulous location in a quiet village, can only hear the birds tweeting. Perfect for walking right on the cinder track. Two pubs within walking distance. Would definitely recommend. We will be returning there some day in the future. Great place. Perfect for walking in to centre. Right near beautiful walks along river. Right next to train station. We went to York for the day on train and great train service. Accommodation had everything you need. Very comfortable beds. Neighbours were great to chat to. A great place to stay. Thank you
