Amanda’s place was in a quiet, walkable neighborhood. We enjoyed using the kayak’s on the creek behind the house. The fenced in yard was great for our dogs. She had great recommendations on dining & activities. We loved The Tin Top restaurant, which is less than a mile from the house.

Spent a week in Pensacola in March: lovely location for our stay, with the bayou just across the road for some fishing and walks along the footpath. We got to see the Blue Angels fly over the area and watched the dolphins playing in the water. The house is well-appointed and comfortable, very peaceful too. Bikes, kayaks, chairs, beach towels etc were available for our use. Close to shops & restaurants and the Naval Air Station. We were in town for some planned events so were not able to make full use of all the available amenities at the house for the entire week but enjoyed the time we were there. Great communication from hosts prior to our arrival, and no issues during our stay so had no need to contact them for anything. Check in and check out super easy.

When we first stumbled upon this house, it seemed almost too good to be true. But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Babbie was the most thoughtful, gracious host. She provided us with all the information we needed and showed us around. The house was just fabulous! The sunsets from the balcony were excellent and the location incredible. Babbie had excellent restaurant recommendations and was of great help. She went above and beyond to make our long-weekend comfortable and memorable. This was a nice getaway for our family and friends. We had college boys coming in during Spring Break - from all different directions and on different days. Direction and entry codes easily accessible for all. This place is in walking distance of grocery store, which we used every single day for something and easy walk to the beach. House was fantastic and had every thing we needed for meal preparation and wide open to the dining and living room area. We are all basketball fans so watching SEC games and cooking was a favorite. Enjoyed the pool area.

Lauren was very responsive and the house was great for our needs. It is a few miles away from the retail beach area (Hangout, etc), but was perfect for us because it was quiet. The back porch looks out over Little Lagoon - very serene. We were there for a guy's golf trip and we didn't cook any meals, but the kitchen seemed equipped (pots, pans, utensils, etc) to handle some basic meal prep. My only complaint, and this isn't solely directed at this listing, but advertising low nightly rates and rather high cleaning fees, is a bit pesky. It's something I've noticed on many properties and probably relates more to listing priorities and such. I just find it somewhat annoying. Obviously, with the rates/fee structure, we still chose this location. The guys and I are already discussing a return trip and will definitely check into this place again!

Serene and beautiful setting on bayou heron, which feeds directly into Perido Bay. Loved kayaking right from the property and seeing an abundance of wildlife from the dock - birds, fish, dolphins and an alligator! extra large family room and kitchen would work well for families. the hosts were super accommodating and flexible with the check in time which we really appreciated.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here and it immediately felt like our home away from home again. The house is very well cleaned, everything is easy to find and the bathrooms and kitchen are well stocked too. The back deck feels very private and my kids love being able to fish the canal. The kayaks available in the garage are always an added bonus. We hope to be back again!

It was beautiful!!

We felt right at home in this cottage. We were able to bring our 2 little fur babies too which made the vacation that much more enjoyable. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of the cottage and the creek in the backyard. Even caught quite a few fish! We enjoyed a nice fire in the supplied fire pit and made s’mores! Pirates cove was a very convenient local beach area and the public beach was just a short drive from the cottage. We will definitely recommend this place to friends and family and we hope to have the chance to be able to come back to stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay. It was a great place for two families with young kids. We could walk to the beach and walk to the lagoon to explore. Quick drive to the main drag. House was great. Really perfect for two families staying together as there were private bathrooms in each of the king rooms in addition to a shared bath for the kids rooms, and then one additional on the main floor. We had a great stay, thank you!

We visited during the week of New Year's knowing weather could be a 'wildcard' when we booked. So glad we did - we got lucky with seasonably warm weather. We enjoyed views of the bay from morning coffee to sunset cocktails, truly beautiful and peaceful. Our boys loved checking the crab trap multiple times a day and even landed a few. We would definitely visit again!

When we weren’t shopping in downtown Fairhope or eating at fantastic restaurants, we spent a lot of time at the boathouse just chilling. It was wonderful! This place was just what we were looking for - peace and quiet - and not too far from the few things we wanted to do.

We once again had a wonderful trip. We got to meet Mr. Joe while he was taking the Lab for a stroll. We enjoyed the conversation with him. Charcoal was used last night with some delicious Burgers abd Brats. Just missed the rain and storm coming in and ate and played some Rummy cube. Weather was great during our stay. My brother and our spouses had a very relaxing fun trip. Caught some rays, cats and two crabs. Fun fun time! Thank all of you for a relaxing peaceful trip at your place!

Loved the cottage and plan to be back! Super pet friendly, loved the back yard, stocked with everything you needed. Clean space, tons of room, and close to restaurants and beach.

We loved staying at this cozy home!Everything was just as listed and everything was so cute! We took advantage of the bikes provided and took a ride in the park along the bayou close by. It was very scenic and we love the neighborhood! It is a perfect location for visiting my son who lives on NAS Pensacola. Katie and Chad were very helpful and responsive when I had questions about the area. We loved our trip and our stay there!

Wonderful pet friendly place to stay. Quiet and peaceful but close proximity to shopping, restaurants, etc.

Johns place was amazing! We caught some good fish off the pier and it was very private and quiet. Would definitely recommend it and we will be back😎

We enjoyed our stay at the Joe's fish camp and it was central to the events that we attended. The place was exactly as described. The enclosed back porch and dock were a great place to hangout and view the birds and wildlife in the area... very peaceful and quiet!

Our stay at Sue’s cabin was more than perfect! The cabin is clean, tidy and has everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay. Sue is an amazing host and we’ll definitely be coming back to stay at her place again.

We found the cabin, clean, cozy, everything we needed. The car port was a plus, as we arrived on a rainy day. We spent 30 days as a guest. Shawn would check in to see if we needed anything. Close to great places in Bayou Le Batre for fresh seafood. And restaurants. 3 miles from a super county park on the bay. Plus the Town of Coden has a very nice park on the gulf. 10 miles to Dauphin Island.
