The main chalet area is just a few minutes' walk from Lata Kertas Waterfall. They also have a special unit right beside the waterfall, which I was lucky to get thanks to the host's offer. Anne, the host’s daughter, speaks English but is based in another part of Malaysia. Her mother manages the chalet but doesn’t speak English, so communication is best via messages (she translates and replies in English). I messaged multiple times for recommendations on attractions and restaurants, and she was incredibly helpful—even calling places to check before replying. Truly appreciated the effort and hospitality! The room was simple, clean, and surprisingly comfortable. The mattress, pillows, and blanket were really good quality for the price. Toilet is basic (no sink inside, but there’s an outdoor kitchen sink you can use). There’s a fishing pond right outside the chalet. Lata Kertas Waterfall is just a couple of stairs down, perfect for a quick dip.

As described, simple but clean and functional with aircon and a kettle. Lake is just 2 mins walk, and is good for swimming. Host was friendly, and shared some snacks with us, which was a lovely bonus. Car needed as this is quite rural. Waterfalls a short drive away, and plenty of roadside eating places and minimarts. Fine for 2 night stop as a place to break journey driving north, and see the park.

The place is amazing for the price. It is a great place to stay if you want to experience village life but with modern comforts. Beautiful views of natural surroundings and dine with local cuisine at a local restaurant next door. Only issue is transport around Dabong but this applies to all accommodation there. Thankfully, the host's mother is very friendly and kind in helping to connect me with a local guide. Overall, great stay!

This place is so strategic, located just nearby the amazing and beautiful 'air terjun' Lata Kertas, the most popular, beautiful, clean and viral 'air terjun' at Dabong, Kelantan. We are satisfied with the chalet and owner (Ms Anne and her mother), excellent hospitality, feels like home, and we had the most wonderful time there. Highly recommended to those who are so keen and excited with 'air terjun', only 3 minutes walking to Lata Kertas. Thanks for everything Anne. Hope to see u next time...
