This unit is in a two story apartment building, set back from the road which makes it easy to miss. The flip side of this is that it is very quiet, with a beautiful view of St Peters Bay. There is a grocery store within walking distance, along with a few places to eat out. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

A nice, peaceful spot with a comfortable bed, great living space, and a good-sized kitchen with everything we needed.

This was a great little place to stay for 2 months (Feb-april). Daphne was a great host, and was always responsive. Being a winter rental there are always little things that happen and they were fixed right away. The house is an older house in the country and felt peaceful. Internet was fast and the house was warm. Unfortunately we could not walk to the ocean, when the snow melted there was a puddle that you could not go around. Would stay again.

Wow! Marina’s place was beyond amazing! It exceeded our expectations and was even more beautiful in person! It was the perfect location for us to unplug and truly enjoy our surroundings! Marina’s little touches and sweet items she left for our girls (ages 4 &6) were above and beyond anything we could have imagined! The house allowed us to be able to take day trips and come back to a relaxing and beautiful location! We definitely hope to come back to Nova Scotia and definitely will stay at her home again!

This is a lovely and comfortable home. Truly everything you need for a romantic getaway or a family retreat. Just waking up to the serene harbor view is worth it. And all the toughtful touches in every single room made it feel like home.

Absolutely stunning! Right on the water, great views, watched deer in the yard... The screened in porched was awesome, the back porch with Propane fire pit is a great touch. Bedrooms and bathroom were clean. Beds were very comfortable. Can't wait to book again

Staying at Cheryl’s was absolutely wonderful and just what we were needing after our few weeks of travel! Everything in her home was so well thought-out ( including water and treats upon our arrival ), a well-stocked kitchen, cozy bedding and living space…and even a swing for us to enjoy our morning coffee on at sunrise at the water’s edge…. Jennie and Guy were amazing hosts. They were extremely helpful and accommodating. Their cozy home has ample space on the main level for indoor living if you ever needed a break day. The deck is large and private and probably my favourite part of the house. The kitchen is extremely well stocked which made cooking away from home an enjoyable experience. The home gets a great breeze from the ocean which kept things cool on the inside and left us with no bugs on the outside! Jennie and Guy provided some excellent tips for things to do in the area and we used the home as a jump off point to see many other fun things in Cape Breton. While not immediately on the ocean, you can still see it from the deck and they were happy to share their kayaks and paddle board with us. A very nice perk which you won't find in many places. The little island is picturesque with lots of beautiful scenery to explore. The local beach was sandy and warm and the two pubs we went to were quite nice as well. Overall, I would highly recommend it. The value for money was extremely fair and we had a great experience overall. Thanks for the memories!
