Being pet friendly and having a large fenced in area for them to run around in was very nice.

Liane was an extremely helpful and proactive host. The cottage and amenities were clean and functional. Everything made for a great weekend away.

We’ve been visiting cottage bear for 5 years now and it’s always a highlight of our year. The cottage and surroundings are beautiful and Liane is an ideal host.

Stayed at Thomas' place while in town for kids St. FX ring ceremony. Great private and quiet location, loved the wood stove and hot tub! About 20-25 min drive into Antigonish, but nice to wake up to an ocean view! Would stay here again and sample more gin!

We had an amazing time at this gorgeous place! Very peaceful, stunning views, we wished we had more time there. Tricia had a great restaurant recommendation and even printouts of locations of various beaches, as well as lots of helpful information. She was also very responsive, accommodating and helpful. We loved the place and would definitely return again!

I had another wonderful stay at Joh and Sandy’s place. The home is perfectly set up for everything you will need and the location is absolutely beautiful. A short stroll down the path of trees and wildflowers takes you to the pristine Bra d’or Lake. It’s a private oasis with chairs and a hammock to enjoy the serenity and magic of the lake. Lots of wildlife to enjoy (two deer came for a few visits!). If you like peace and tranquility, this is the place. Thank you John and Sandy for a lovely time at your cottage. I’ll see you next year! :)

Very relaxing spot, excellent view sitting right in a little bay on the ocean so the water was always calm. If you have kayaks make sure you bring them it would be a perfect spot. We tried fishing from shore but I think you might need to get out in the cove a bit where it’s a little deeper. Very cute spot loved drinking coffee every morning on the deck looking at the view!

We needed a place for our guys to stay while working in the area. They loved the accommodations and the host was super easy to deal with . If we are back in the area I know where we will be staying. Thanks so much

I really loved my stay at this cabin! My dog and I enjoyed the trails every day. The spot was private and peaceful. It was exactly what I was looking for.

Cute little historical house within walking distance to Pondville Beach. Peaceful and serene.

Such a beautiful spot - right on the ocean with water views all around. The house worked very well for the 8 of us with lots of room to spread out and the beds were nice and comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked with lots of dishes and gadgets. Wish we could have stayed longer. The host was attentive and quick to respond if needed. Hopefully we get back to visit again.

The cabin is one of four cabins - probably very convenient if traveling with a group. It overlooks a water inlet. The cabin is well kept up but fairly basic in terms of dishes, etc. There is a beach nearby but we didn't visit it due to the mosquitos.

Maison centenaire rénovée avec beaucoup de minutie et de soucis du détail. Propreté impeccable, cuisine toute équipée. Grand terrain pour courir, jouer au ballon, à la pétanque et observer des chevreuils :) Vue partielle de l'océan, on ne peut pas s'y rendre à pied facilement. 2-3 minutes en voiture (1.6km) de la fantastique plage de Pointe Michaud (3km de plage avec sauveteur et toilettes sèches) À 5min du Lobsers-r-us ou on a acheté des homards qui venaient d'être pêchés (ils peuvent aussi nous les cuire) Aucun réseau cellulaire (Videotron/Bell/Rogers/Telus) ni à la maison, ni a la plage. La maison est équipée d'un téléphone pour appels locaux.

We had a great stay. Handy downtown location, walking distance to restaurants and University. We arrived late, Anthony still took the time to walk us through everything and recommend a great pizza place! Beautiful property, the rental had everything we needed.

Our stay at William's place was amazing for us. It had everything we would asked for. Great view of ocean from windows and while eating on deck. The cottage is outside any major towns by about 30 minutes which we knew so we planned our day trips accordingly. That being said the house was very close to ocean and many beaches and parks and trails which was fabulous. William was an amazing host if we had any questions or concerns he was super responsive in handling any concerns. Top notch host for sure would highly recommend this home for anyone thinking about this place.
