I had a phenomenal stay at Francis’ Airbnb! The host was very response, helpful, and made me feel at home. They were very welcoming of my dog too, which we appreciated :)

Earl’s loft was very quaint. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the view. We did have a small issue with the heat but it was easily remedied. Our hosts were great and even left a thoughtful gift for us.

Michelle was very accommodating. Her place was easy to find, very clean and accurately described. My kids enjoyed the little touches such as books, toys and board games. We were a last minute booking and Michelle made it easy.

Stayed close to the hospital after a day surgery. The location is perfect for this. Hospital clean, everything there you could possibly need PLUS LOAD OF EXTRAS! The host definitely goes out of their way to please! Lots and lots of EXTRA TOUCHES!!! Quite possibly the most thought filled air bnb to date!! Washer and dryer in unit. Perfect! Perfect! Perfect!!!

Donna's place was very clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was very well supplied for making meals. I also appreciated the ample parking (two full-sized pick-up trucks fit easily) and proximity to great places to eat (I was sometimes too tired to use the fine kitchen)! Donna made the stay easy and convenient - thanks!

Everything you'd ever need is right here in this beautifully laid out and cozy home! Activities for days are all around you, the views are stunning, the neighbours grand. The beds are so comfy and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you'd need to cook a feast. We will be back to enjoy Brent's best Nova Scotian hospitality!

We had a great stay! We visited with 4 adults, a baby and a dog and we had lots of space to hang out in the main area. Sherbrooke village is just minutes away. Very peaceful and quiet area. Definitely recommend :)

Nous avons adoré notre séjour d'un mois, la maison voici les points forts: Résidence bien située pour découvrir l'Île du Cap Breton et ses alentours. Endroit très calme et éloigné des voisins, juste en face de la marina. Belle résidence, très propre, pleine de belles fenêtres, confortable et bien climatisée Foyer extérieur et pergolas très appréciés. Tous les services et restaurations sont à moins d'un kilomètre La nature est très présente tout autour de la maison (cerf, renards, écureuils, crabes, cormorans, hérons, geai bleu, martin pêcheur, etc..). Les points à tenir en compte: Absence de rideau dans la chambre à coucher principale. Absence de moustiquaire dans toutes les fenêtres alors, ont choisi les moustiques ou l'air climatisée. Table à manger pour seulement 6 personnes assises (annoncé; maximum de 8 voyageurs). Cuisine très sommairement équipée Beaucoup d'ampoules sont brûlées à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur et aucune Un gros merci à nos hôtes pour le séjour!

We had the perfect romantic getaway at this charming Airbnb! The place was cozy and quaint, with a lovely fireplace that added to the ambiance. It's an older homestead that has been updated, blending rustic charm with modern comforts. The oat cake cookies were a delicious treat! The bed was comfortable and the place was very clean. The location was ideal for our dogs and for nature walks. Next time, we'll definitely bring our ATVs and friends for some added adventure. Susan and John were incredibly responsive hosts. John even stopped by to inform us about an incoming storm and assured us he'd fire up the generator if needed. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Beautiful time with my parents in Halfway Cove! We were initially drawn to the private beach and little cove—both more beautiful than the photos suggested. We swam every day; it was surprisingly warm! Would have maybe loved more beach walking distance, but that's neither here nor there. The house itself was beautiful: an well-kept charming older house with lots of light and a lovely layout. My husband and I loved having our own "wing" downstairs whilst my parents were comfortably situated on the top floor. It was pristinely kept: super clean, comfortable and with all the amenities to cook at-home meals. We went to the local Independent (15 min drive) and made most meals at home on the barbecue or in the kitchen together. Gary was a lovely host. Very kind and helpful as we sought out local recommendations. And an exceptional jam-maker too. Would definitely come back!
