Hubble & I just spent 4 days at Laura's Landing. We were on Isle Madame to visit old friends & do some sightseeing. The house is great - very clean, well-provisioned, & in a terrific location - just a 5-minute walk from Pondville Beach. The few near neighbours seemed friendly & quiet, and there was almost no traffic since the house is essentially at the end of a road. The master bedroom was especially comfortable - with soft sheets, warm bedding, & a perfectly firm mattress. The other beds seemed comfy as well. The dining room was spacious & inviting - a good place to gather with loved ones over a meal! Water views from inside the house were limited unfortunately, but views from the yard & deck would be lovely in warmer weather. Guests may want to know that cell service can be a bit unreliable at times but the wifi works great. In summary, we enjoyed our time at Laura's Landing & would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing home base on Isle Madame! Thanks so much Daphne!

This is a dream location. There are lots of windows to fill up with spectacular views of the ocean. The cottage is lovely and comfortable with an open space to unwind and soak up the beauty of the place. Lots of necessities in tge cupboards. All you need for an unforgettable stay.

Wow! Marina’s place was beyond amazing! It exceeded our expectations and was even more beautiful in person! It was the perfect location for us to unplug and truly enjoy our surroundings! Marina’s little touches and sweet items she left for our girls (ages 4 &6) were above and beyond anything we could have imagined! The house allowed us to be able to take day trips and come back to a relaxing and beautiful location! We definitely hope to come back to Nova Scotia and definitely will stay at her home again!

Our group were in the area for a sports event and the accommodations worked wonderfully.

This was a great spot, close enough to New Glasgow for anything you might need and far enough away it felt like a getaway. Very clean and bright with a beautiful view. Kate was great with communication and we felt totally at home. Would love to come back and enjoy the spot again! Thanks Kate!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour d'un mois, la maison voici les points forts: Résidence bien située pour découvrir l'Île du Cap Breton et ses alentours. Endroit très calme et éloigné des voisins, juste en face de la marina. Belle résidence, très propre, pleine de belles fenêtres, confortable et bien climatisée Foyer extérieur et pergolas très appréciés. Tous les services et restaurations sont à moins d'un kilomètre La nature est très présente tout autour de la maison (cerf, renards, écureuils, crabes, cormorans, hérons, geai bleu, martin pêcheur, etc..). Les points à tenir en compte: Absence de rideau dans la chambre à coucher principale. Absence de moustiquaire dans toutes les fenêtres alors, ont choisi les moustiques ou l'air climatisée. Table à manger pour seulement 6 personnes assises (annoncé; maximum de 8 voyageurs). Cuisine très sommairement équipée Beaucoup d'ampoules sont brûlées à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur et aucune Un gros merci à nos hôtes pour le séjour!

Cute little historical house within walking distance to Pondville Beach. Peaceful and serene.

We booked super last minute so we could stay longer in town to visit my grandparents - we were beyond pleased with our stay! We had asked the host if there was any stores near by as we weren’t familiar with the area just to grab the kids some hot dogs but nothing was close nor near by and the host actually came down with hot dogs, buns and ketchup for my kids! Such a sweet gesture!!! The cabin was adorable - above expectation! Will definitely book again!

What a great view of the lake! The view is enjoyable in any season. Pellet stove is a lovely addition, and the hot tub with snow falling was wonderful.

We were traveling with our infant grandson. Before we arrived Kelly realized our original room would be louder than we might like. She was proactive and moved us to a very quiet room. The accommodations were perfect. The location is beautiful and so very peaceful. We sat outside and just listened to the birds. I told my husband, it finally "felt like summer". We will recommend Kelly and her properties to our friends! We had the very best time. Kelly is a wonderful host.

We had an amazing 4 night stay in one of the Chalets - we didn't want to leave! The view from the upper chalets is unbelievable. Kelly was a wonderful host! She was always extremely quick to respond and answer any questions - she was even able to assist us retrieve an item that another member of our party, staying in an adjacent chalet, left behind. On the day of arrival, we were able to check-in early and enjoy the property. There was even a welcome gift with some snacks - such a nice 'added touch!' The chalets were as clean and well appointed as we had remembered from previous stays. There were lots of linens available, but there is also a washer and dryer in the chalet. Gary, the groundskeeper was so friendly and told us about some of the history of the property. On site, there is a small beach with loungers & a fire pit, a pond with a new dock and watercrafts. There's a heated pool, small basketball court, a games room and lots of space for biking. We can't wait to return!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Great location for our annual girls trip. Host was prompt to answer any questions and Gary was very helpful in assisting when we needed extra supplies.

A nice spot in the former Pictou Lodge site (these chalets are not the original lodge). Very clean and we enjoyed the pool. We also saw at least a half dozen deer in the area (at various times). Will be back with the grandchildren!

Peaceful stay; beautiful surroundings; very clean (spotless!) and welcoming; Kelly was always quick to respond to. A very relaxing stay with ample opportunities for beach walks - beautiful sunrises!

We stayed there for two nights with the grandkids! They truly enjoyed the pool and the beach areas and fires at night! The accommodations were very nice and beds were super comfy! We would definitely go back again!

We had a great time at Julie's place. there is a park for the kids close by and the beach is at the end of the road. The sunsets were beautiful as the the view from the deck at any time of the day. Thanks again Julie, the next time we're out we'll be sure to book again with you.

This was a very beautiful place to stay! It was so nice waking up to the view. Lelia was also very friendly and accommodating. The beach was also very beautiful. We would love to come again in the future!

Loved the place and location. It had a beautiful view with a lovely little town nearby. We had a wonderful stay in your cozy cottage - nice to have a space to unplug and enjoy. Would definitely consider coming back.

This is an immaculate summer home with just about every amenity needed for a great family stay. Clean, modern, well built and provisioned with comfortable furniture and high end appliances. Rent without any reservation about your vacation being perfect.

Beautifully appointed cabin with amazing views. Very peaceful atmosphere. Check in was really easy and Sarah was really helpful when we asked to flex our check out which made the end of the holiday that much more calm and enjoyable.

What a great spot Close to Arichat, NS. The cabin was very clean, spacious and quiet. Had all the necessities we needed The hosts were great and answered any questions we had very quickly. Dog friendly is hard to find and this place is a gem. Loved the accommodations!

You won’t believe it until you see it!!!! The most incredible view that just goes on forever…we brought 2 dogs and the surroundings were absolutely perfect for them. Sean was great and kept in touch with us the whole week, even brought us fresh eggs from his hens!!!! Everything was perfect and we had an awesome time.

Great hosts. Went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we need, and very responsive. Very cozy and super comfy home. Would stay again
