Had a great time at the Elderberries cottage! The views were spectacular, and you could take them in from the enclosed porch, the open deck, and even the living room. The entire setup was perfect for a vacation/remote work getaway, and the kitchen has everything you need. WiFi worked great, and the smart TV supported pretty much any streaming service you'd want. Rachel was friendly and super responsive; we hope to stay there again sometime.

Beautiful and peaceful location. The house had wonderful accommodations for all 5 of us. Itwas such a nice retreat after a busy holiday. We would definitely stay again!

Lorena was a great host from start to finish. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed. We did have a dog run up to the porch barking but that is no fault of our wonderful host. We sure loved the view and peaceful atmosphere. We would absolutely return.

We were planning a family wedding in White Stone.Maria provided recommendations for a fabulous local chef, was extremely responsive to communications, and was very proactive with guidance. If you are a morning person the sunrises from this property are amazing. We rented the whole house which provided 4 bedrooms, 2 kitchens, and a bonus heated game room in the garage.

This home is a great place to stay! It is completely furnished with everything you need. The kitchen is completely stocked with any seasonings or coffee accessories you need. The home is wonderfully functional for larger families and kids, --lots of nooks and spaces to hang out and enjoy your vacation. My boys and I chose this rental for the kayaking, and we were not disappointed. The equipment was ready to go, and the home has it's own private slip into a beautiful calm river. This is a great home for families and friends to relax, get some time on the water, and spend time with each other. Great value.

Loved our long weekend at The Little Gray House…it reminded us of a nostalgic beach house (with updated amenities, i.e. WiFi, hvac,!) We loved the bird watching and the peaceful, quiet surroundings. It had everything we needed and we would definitely stay here again.

We booked this beautiful beachfront home for my husband's birthday, and it was perfect. Check-in was seamless, and the breathtaking water view greeted us upon entry. The house was spotless and peaceful, with only the soothing sound of waves. We enjoyed most meals in the sunroom overlooking the water and took advantage of the outdoor seating as the weather warmed. Fawn, a great coffee and breakfast/lunch spot, was just five minutes away. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to cook fresh seafood from Little River Seafood. Mornings were magical with stunning sunrises, and the nearby beach access was perfect for walks, yoga, and birdwatching. A highlight was Hughlett Point, a hidden nature preserve 30-40 minutes away, leading to a secluded beach with only 11 parking spots. My daughter found this gem online to book for my 65th birthday and a family get-together on the Northern Neck. We stay in Airbnb homes quite frequently all over the world and this is the loveliest home we've had the good fortune to stay in. Christine is the most gracious host and this home is special because she has made it that way for her family. It's a huge difference to stay in a vacation home that the host rents and a home that the host lives in. Christine's eye for beauty is exquisite and the home is comfortable as well as beautiful. It seldom happens that you say, "I wish the house had (fill in the blank)" and this house has it. The river is a gorgeous backdrop and there are kayaks to use. The saltwater pool is a great addition and a reason to hang at the house. And there is everything one needs to knock out a meal or if you don't want to cook, plenty of places to eat in the area. All in all, this house is a 15 out of 10!!

Wow.. where do I start? I have a strict heart healthy diet. Only whole grain products with no dairy, meat, nuts, and oil. Brenda communicated well before the start to make sure her special dinner and breakfast dishes met my requirements. Brenda did a magnificent job. Not were the meals outstanding, the setting for her air b&b is perfect. The Northern Neck is a special place in Virginia. Staying at Brenda’s “Perfect View” in the Northern Neck was a very relaxing and enjoyable experience!

It feels like home on the water. Fenced yard for our pup, a pool and beautiful dock … and the water. It’s the only place we’ve found that has it all. As my sister said when she came out our second morning there was”it feels like home.” It is by far the best place we have found to relax and recharge.

Mary was a fantastic host this weekend for my brothers Bachelor Party! Property is perfect for larger gatherings with plenty of sleeping space and community areas like the beach and firepit. Would highly recommend this property for people visiting the Williamsburg VA area!

My husband and I went on a weekend getaway here. Our time here was amazing! We had so much fun exploring the property and hanging out with all the animals. Shelli was a wonderful host that encouraged and wanted us to feel right at home. The town was cute and it fun exploring all the local shops! Thank you again Shelli & Family!

Wonderful location to explore the rivers that feed the Chesapeake Bay. Only an hour from Jamestown, Yorktown, and Williamsburg, and only 2 hours from Charlottesville (Monticello). This location definitely helped my 12 year old daughter ‘suffer through’ our historical Spring Break! The River is an absolutely wonderful view every day and great for kayaking. Suggest water shoes for getting in and out from the rocks. We brought our own kayaks and bikes but there are some kayaks provided. House is stocked with everything you need - just add family and friends for your own adventure. Cute small towns to explore nearby in Irvington, White Stone and Kilmarnock. Great restaurant at The Tides Inn in Irvington and Merroir in Topping for fresh oysters YUM! Merroir also has the best Key Lime Pie we’ve EVER had in addition to amazing fried Rappahannock Oysters. And above all, we enjoyed vacation as a family with our boys, 2 King Charles Cavaliers. Thank you Anna!

Very clean, nicely decorated, comfortable, very quiet and peaceful with great views. They actually have a well supply kitchen. Living room has plenty of seating and very comfortable. Lots of space. Love the back screen porch use that a lot. Host is very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed sitting on the porch with our coffee in the morning and taking in the sunrise while watching the wildlife and listening to the waves. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to make meals and everything was immaculately clean! Great family time here as we played board games, read and watched movies together. Would love to come back one day!

My wife and I have stayed at The Fish House several times. It is a wonderful respite from our urban home life. A great place to relax and appreciate the Northern Neck lifestyle. We love it here!

This home is absolutely beautiful. I loved being able to wake up early and watch the sun rise over the Chesapeake bay. Even though it was cold the kids enjoyed splashing in the water with their rain boots. We spent the Wednesday before Thanksgiving at colonial Williamsburg. Afterwards we ate at Captain George’s, a place Tas recommended. It was absolutely worth it. I was also pleased with being able to make a good Thanksgiving meal. The stay was relaxing and peaceful. We would love to come back in the near future.

We had a wonderful time at The Sand Crab. It is perfect for young kids who are looking to enjoy the beach and water. The outside shower made it so easy for us to wash after the beach. The house is well equipped, and wonderfully decorated. We are grateful for Chris and his family for opening up their home for us to stay and enjoy a family vacation. For sure, we will be back!

Our family Thanksgiving was great! What a beautiful home with a breathtaking view of the water!! Just waking up each day with that beautiful sunrise over the water was wonderful to see. What a hidden gem! Everything you possibly have needed was provided in the home. The fireplace was very nice especially on those cold evenings! We can't wait to return! What a fantastic place! I came from Pennsylvania to visit with family. Katie’s place was a great spot for them to come visit. We cooked out on the grill and the kids played in the water and on the beach. The house is absolutely gorgeous and is fully stocked with everything you could think of and labeled! The best part was watching the sunrise while sipping a cup of coffee on the covered porch. It was so peaceful. Oh! And of course watching the dolphins play! I really hope we can come back again in the future, we had the absolute best time! Thank-you Katie and Tim for everything!
