Ruben was very responsive and friendly. Showed me how to use certain things and left a basket of local treats and familiar snacks my boys enjoyed. It was a lovely home. There’s a lot of steps, which was no a problem for my family, but something to be mindful of if have younger kids or older family members! My boys loved the trampoline in the yard and our family enjoyed having peaceful meals over looking the garden. The outdoor space was lovely for afternoons and morning cups of coffee!

The location was great, walking distance to trains and trams to get to the heart of Amsterdam. Far enough away to be quiet for nights in. Nancy was very communicative even though she was on holiday. Easy parking if you drive in and plenty of space for 5, especially if someone doesn’t mind the couch. Would be great for 3 couples. Amazing showers 😁

This is such a special place! We absolutely loved our stay - it was the perfect place to unwind, slow down and be still. Rob was a great host and made us feel really at home . I highly recommend staying in Robs house and we’re keen to return!!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft, schick eingerichtet und auch Fred&Kelly waren sehr freundlich. Bei Problemen sind sie schnell zur Stelle. Das Chromcast und auch Netflix haben bei uns leider nicht so funktioniert wie es sollte. Whirlpool und Sauna waren top, nur wer Sauna ab 70grad oder mehr mag, muss ca 2 Stunden warten. Die Umgebung mit Kanal und vielen Mühlen ist sehr schön, aber auch ein paar Industriefirmen sind nebenan, die manchmal etwas laut sind. Dennoch ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, mit einfachem Ausflug nach Amsterdam, da die Unterkunft in der Nähe eines Bahnhofs ist

Wir waren zu zweit für 2 Nächte dort. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und freundlich. Die zur Verfügung stehenden Fahrräder waren eine tolle Möglichkeit um eine gemütliche abendliche Runde zu fahren oder auch in nichtmal 20 Minuten etwas einkaufen zu können. Mit unserem Auto sind wir in knapp 1h nach Zandvoort ans Meer gefahren. Es war unglaublich entspannend und die Gegend ist sehr schön.

I cannot explain how amazing this house is. The spacious and comfortable. The decor is incredibly beautiful. They thought of everything to make the guests feel content. The access is very simple and easy, and dealing with Senne is so good; she is so helpful and kind. There were 9 women in total, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. It's a bit far from the city, but we knew that, we moved in taxis so that wasn't an issue in our case. I will definitely come back! Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

Ruhige Gegend, gut zu erreichen, zum Strand kann man einen ausgiebigen Spaziergang machen, Häuschen war sauber, alles vorhanden, was man für einen Kurz Trip braucht :)

It was a great experience to stay there. Environment is really peaceful with the garden and living room. It is so clean and managed by responsive hosts. Location is easy to go to Amsterdam and Leiden side. I strongly recommend this place

Incredibly cosy and unique stay that felt like something straight off a film set! I stayed one night with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday and we were very happy with everything from location, to cleanliness and communication with the host. This place gives you a special feeling of awe, and is really one of a kind! :)

Hello, we had a warm welcome when we arrived, and Anita waited for us, because we were a little late at arriving. Very kindly to us. We are 3 older couples and we felt us immediately at home. Everything was there what we need for our stay. The most time we cooked in the good kitchen, wonderful to eat in the nice living room. The neighborhood is very silence, the northsee is 5 km away, haarlem 2,3 km. We really enjoyed our stay. Rainer

Tessa has a lovely house, very comfortable, spotless and very well located. Tessa is very friendly and she has done everything possible to make our stay as good as possible. Bikes are available for all and there is even tennis table. In a nutshell, we had a fantastic time in Haarlem.

We enjoyed our vacation at Kim‘s home very much. We had enough space and all rooms are beautiful furnished. The little garden was also a nice place to sit and relax after a day at the beach or a walk through beautiful city of Haarlem.

Pieter’s place in Haarlem was absolutely perfect! The space was great for our family of five, with the perfect amount of bedrooms, space for all 5 of us to sleep and to shower comfortably. Fully equipped kitchen, beautiful outdoor garden space, common area, and lovely dining room with plenty of room to eat. The decor was delightful and the whole home was just lovely. The location was amazing as well, within feet of the train station, delicious restaurants, shops, bakeries, and more. We loved our time in Haarlem and the Netherlands and are so thankful we found Pieter’s place to stay! His restaurant recommendations were fabulous and he was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had before and during our stay. Highly recommend Pieter’s home!

This is the best air bnb we have stayed in. The house was impeccable - clean, comfortable and we felt completely at home. This is a family home but there was no clutter or anything else that would make you feel you were impinging on someone’s personal items. The area is fab - close to the beach, which we visited, and 2 mins to the train station for trains to central Amsterdam in 15 mins. There is a local bakery, butcher, lovely ice cream shop and big supermarket 2 mins walk away. It is 5 mins on the train to Haarlem which is huge - lots of small boutique shops and chain shops. The area is lovely - really safe and quiet. Jan-Kees is the most amazing host. He is so responsive - we set up a what’s app and he always replied instantly. He had so many tips for where to eat and where to go. We will be back to visit those places we missed. The children loved the cat and the chickens! Thank you Jan-Kees and family for all your help and for allowing us to stay in your wonderful home ☺️

Una casa muy amplia y decorada con muy buen gusto. El único fallo desde nuestro punto de vista, ha sido el no poder regular nosotros mismos la calefacción en la casa, ya que había habitaciones heladas y otras con muchísimo calor, con lo que era difícil descansar bien en todas. Por lo demás todo fantástico, una casa preciosa y muy bien ubicada. Volveremos, gracias por todo

Our family had a perfect stay. House was beautiful, close to the city by ferry, restaurants on the waterfront and we even got in a swim just 10mins walk from the house. Was great to be able to use the bikes too. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms modern and clean with great showers.

We really enjoyed our family stay. The house was great, and it was exciting to stay in the harbour. The location was very peaceful, away from the centre of Amsterdam, but well connected by tram. As it's a family home, there was lots of stuff in the house, which limited storage space a bit, but that made it feel more like a home than a rental house and meant the kitchen was very well equipped. Would recommend.

Wir haben einige Tage über den Jahreswechsel im Haus von André und Marieke verbracht. Das Haus verfügt über jeglichen Komfort und ist hervorragend ausgestattet. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Man erreicht von hier in wenigen Minuten mit dem Fahrrad die nächsten öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel sowie Supermärkte und was man sonst so braucht Mit dem Auto ist man sofort auf der naheliegenden Autobahn und damit schnell in den Städten der Umgebung. Das Haus ist schön und modern mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Man spürt schon beim Betreten, dass André und Marieke viel Wert auf Gemütlichkeit und Harmonie legen. Wir fühlten uns sofort willkommen und zu Hause. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir würden jederzeit wieder hier wohnen.
