May was very accommodating and very quick to respond with any questions. The place was very clean and had all of the necessities.

If you’re thinking of getting aurora tours, just get Rita’s guesthouse instead. It was super clean and cozy, and we saw the aurora for both nights!! Definitely will stay again if we ever visit Gimsøysand!

This was the best Airbnb experience we have ever had! The Loft is roomy, very clean and with everything you need such as a good equipped kitchen. The host is wonderful and recommended some great spots to enjoy the Northern Lights. We went in March with snow and the Loft was warm and cozy. The snow was removed daily from the parking and walkways.

3 nuits dans cette magnifique maison avec sa vue sublime sur le fjord. Le salon séjour est tellement accueillant et reposant. Pas besoin de télé, il suffit de regarder dehors et admirer la beauté du paysage. La maison est grande et bien équipée, avec une cuisine très fonctionnelle. Les chambres sont spacieuses et les lits très confortables. Un séjour au top !

Wir haben uns in Rogers Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten eine sehr gute Zeit in Sortland. Die Kommunikation mit Roger war unkompliziert und schnell. Ebenso der Check-in. Das Haus ist nicht steril. Man merkt, dass hier eine Familie Zeit verbringt und es auch schön haben will. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Betten waren für uns vollkommen ausreichend. Die Treppe ist steil, aber machbar. Wir hatten Glück und eine tolle Nacht mit vielen Nordlichtern erleben dürfen. Dafür ist die Umgebung sehr gut geeignet. Störenden Lichtquellen kann man entgehen.

Ingrid und Eilert haben uns so herzlich empfangen und hatten gleich Wandertipps für uns! Wir haben uns sofort so wohl gefühlt, dass wir den Aufenthalt eine Woche verlängert haben! Die Vesteralen sind wunderschön und vielfältig. Mit dem Auto und zu Fuß haben wir die Gegend erkundet und die Natur genossen, tolle Strände, Adler, Elche, von den Bergen herrliche Aussichten, Beeren in Hülle und Fülle und vom Balkon aus das Nordlicht!!! Einkaufmöglichkeiten recht nahe, Museen sind auch nicht weit. Nettes Kaffee und Restaurant in 10 Minuten erreichbar. Tagesausflüge zu den Lofoten sind gut machbar. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Küche hat alles, was man braucht. Die Betten waren sehr bequem! Kurz ein Unterkunft zum Verweilen! Nur zu empfehlen!! Vielen Dank Ingrid und Eilert

We had a wonderful stay in Jann-Olav his house. The ever changing light and weather circumstances provided us with the best views. Our flight had a huge delay and we arrived hours after midnight, we contacted him about it and arrived in a warm house where the lights were still on. We felt welcomed right away. The house itself has everything you need and more.Location was perfect. Not right in the middle of the Lofoten and places like Hamnoy and Ramberg, but they were easy to drive to with our rented car and gave us the opportunity to see more of a bigger area. We saw the Northern lights several times just from outside the house. Thank you, Jann-Olav, it was unforgettable!

We had a great time in Bø. The house was very nice in 70s style. There is a lot of space, both in the house and outside. Since we had beautiful weather it was very nice that we could choose different patios and balconies. The kitchen is well equiped. The surroundings of Bø are also beautiful. So we really recommend this place!
