We had the best fall weekend at Bongopix! We arrived after dark but the space heaters were already going so the cabin was nice and toasty when we got in. The cabin was exactly as described, was very cozy and filled with all sorts of fun nostalgia. Waking up and watching the mist on the river in the mornings was so nice and peaceful. The cabin is only a 5 minute drive from Algonquin and walking distance to restaurants which was so convenient. They also have a wide selection of movies and games and Bongo even brought us some specific SNES games we were looking for! We really loved our stay and are already planning on staying here again next fall!

We loved our stay here! The house was spotless and had everything we could’ve needed and more. The dock and watercrafts were our favourite daytime spot, and the dining table was perfect for groups games in the evenings. We didn’t get to use the fire pits but there were two of them! We’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at this Sugarbush cottage! It was impeccably clean and cozy, just like the photos. Mike was communicative and welcoming, which added to the positive experience. The location was peaceful, ideal for a relaxing long weekend. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a serene and hassle-free getaway and look forward to visiting again!

Beautiful surroundings, nice and secluded and lots to do. If you love being in the outdoors but want somewhere warm to sleep this is a great option

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay here! The hot tub was lovey and the cottage has such a pleasing layout. It was equipped with everything we needed! We loved the fireplace, and sat by it reading the day away! The lake was frozen over and on our first night, we watched a fox cross the lake- it was a treat! I imagine that the beach/lake would be incredible in the summer months! The drive to the cottage was definitely an adventure! Lots of hills and curves - I was glad they shared the 4WD was required in winter (and that our small pups were wearing the seat belts)! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely visit again!

Everything that we could possibly need was here. We came to the area for snowmobiling and it was beautiful. Easy access to trails, pretty much just at the end of the road. The cottage was clean, fully stocked kitchen pots, pans, Everything. Views were beautiful, neighbors quiet.

Peters place was beautiful! We stayed during an ice and wow it was beautiful! Lots of room! Big beautiful deck! Kitchen was well equipped! Would definitely stay again in the summer! The hot tub and sauna were a huge bonus! Thanks again!

We and our dogs had a fantastic stay over the Thanksgiving weekend! The cottage was very clean, spacious and had everything you needed. We loved using the wood burning sauna and the fire pit and appreciated that the firewood was provided. Rebecca responded very quickly to any questions we had. I would highly recommend this cottage.

Footprints is a hidden gem in the Kawarthas, a little paradise! lots of things to do in the resort, lots of space and seating areas. Swimming in the beautiful lake was perfect! We were very fortunate to have the entire place for ourselves for almost two days, when guests arrived for the weekend we found that everyone knows how to be respectful of your space. It was nice to share stories by the fire or by the hot tub with friendly people. We would love to go back!

It was an awesome fall staycation for us, looking forward to enjoy this beauty in summer.

Anna’s place was incredible. The home is exactly as shown in the pictures and is very clean and spacious. The property is beautiful, secluded and right on the water. We stayed during the winter with ten people and had more than enough space and a wonderful time in the hot tub and sledding around the property. Anna was amazing: she was extremely proactive, flexible and really just great to deal with. We loved the trip and hope to be back soon!

Very nice cottage, we had 9 adults and 1 infant, it was spacious, area was beautiful and host was very friendly and willing to help. Everything was great, wifi was very tricky to connect. Our phones couldn’t connect to the service because this place is remote and without wifi, it was no phone for everyone for few days. Which I greatly enjoyed having to get off my phone and computer for few days and really connect with my family. I know some of the family members were frustrated without a connection. Definitely would bring back for families next year!

Tracey was a great host and our group loved the cottage. We had a nice fall weekend and the views were incredible. The cottage had everything we needed. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get away for a relaxing weekend on the lake.

Joanne's place was excellent! beautiful waterfront, newly renovated interior, great view from inside and out. Water has both dock access and beach/rocky area beside the dock for kids to play. Sun all day with beautiful sunsets. Joanne was very responsive and offered early check in which was appreciated. Would highly recommend!

Great spot. We stayed in the middle of winter. The place was amazing, Rayna was very responsive and we had a great time. A great place to stay for sure!! Fire place was well stocked and the hottub heated up for us. The place had everything we needed for a long weekend.

My partner and I enjoyed a much needed romantic getaway. We felt right at home. The view was beautiful. Everything was spotless. We had all the amenities needed. Overall it was a very relaxing couple of days. Khristel was an excellent host. She was responsive and provided us with details to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. 5 stars! We hope to return, in the upcoming summer months. ☺️

Wendy was easy to talk to and responsive. She answered all our questions. Place was clean and location was good. We booked at the wrong time and missed the fall colours, but the place was beautiful. Had to check out early and missed the time of the garbages so we had to take our garbages for our last day home, but other than that, everything was perfect.

Jennifer’s place was great! Beautiful location, private island all to ourselves. Boating over was easy peasy. We spent lots of time on the deck at the water and there are so many places to sit and relax both inside and out. We had a bonfire one night and played games the other nights. Overall a great experience. 😍
