Our family had an amazing time at the cottage. We enjoyed the lake for paddle-boating, swimming, fishing, kayaking and the views. The fire pit was a hit with privacy and quiet evenings. The cottage was spacious and the dining table had a lot of space for our family for all meals. The kids enjoyed their bunk beds and the ping pong table in rainy days. All of us had our own space/rooms and enjoyed that as well, as we had 3 families staying there. The kitchen had all of the necessary materials needed to make our stay feel like “home” away from home. Our only complaint was the stairs to the lake were steep and difficult for the older guests to climb up and down daily. We definitely got our steps in so the younger guests didn’t mind this. We had a great week stay and loved the cottage and lake activities!

Farazdak was an amazing host, answering any and all questions. The inside of the cottage is beautiful and so spacious. The views are unbeatable and it's so quiet. The kids and adults had the best time using the toboggan hill. We would all recommend this place, pictures don't do it justice!!!

We drove through the snowstorm, it was one adventurous drive until we reached the cottage. The whole area was dunked in snow. It is a nice cozy place to snuck in during the winter. It was a beautiful sight of the frozen lake. We didnt do much, as the plan was to just stay in and relax. I am sure it will be a fun place to explore during all seasons. Clare was very responsive during the time we were there. Thank you!

Really enjoyed our stay at this very clean, nicely furnished, well equipped and nicely located cottage. Loved reading and having a morning coffee on the dock. Nice quiet lake. Not too long a drive.

We and our dogs had a fantastic stay over the Thanksgiving weekend! The cottage was very clean, spacious and had everything you needed. We loved using the wood burning sauna and the fire pit and appreciated that the firewood was provided. Rebecca responded very quickly to any questions we had. I would highly recommend this cottage.

This was my second stay at this location, and again it did not disappoint. The hosts are incredibly thoughtful with the small touches, and in our case this time they braved a true blizzard to ensure the Valentine's hot tub was available. The location is perfect. The view is perfect. It's a cozy place in the winter (I've been both times in the winter), but I can tell it would be and incredible summer stay.

We had an amazing stay with the family! There was plenty of space for everyone, and we had a great time by the dock, enjoying campfires and breathtaking views. The kayaks and paddle boat added so much fun to our trip—it was truly memorable. The place was spotless and well-organized, and the kids absolutely loved it. We would definitely come back for another perfect family getaway!

We had a great time. Sir Sam’s ski hill nearby. Hot tub was great for those days when ski hill was not an option. There is fast internet at the cottage. Very private and quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

I think Mary is one of the, or even the, best host we ever had on AirBnB. She and her husband Garry took the time to answer all our questions, come up with recommendations, and even lend us gear to be prepared for the snow. Their place was cosy and spacious, with all the needed amenities present. Their place was so clean, it made the stay without any stress. The included breakfast was very delicious and ensured us to be able to start the day well fed. Overall this would be a place to come back to and something we would suggest our friends and family to.

We stayed at Lynn’s mid November in order to work on our own cottage on the lake. Lynn was a wonderful host and very accommodating. The suite has a cozy cabin feel and was clean and comfortable. Everything we needed for our few days stay was provided, and Lynn took care of our used dishes very efficiently given there is no sink in the kitchen space. There was an extensive library in the cabin, filled with a mix of authors and genres to browse through. A very sunny cabin with large windows looking down onto the lake and surrounded by trees. We had our dog with us and were able to walk her along the laneway. Thanks Lynn, for a wonderfully warm and cozy stay during our brisk fall visit.

Everything was great from beginning to end. Easy to check-in and everything was just as the pictures showed. The view was incredible and the weather couldn't have been better. Wilhelmina was very quick to respond to any questions and Tim who is the site manager was very friendly and helpful. Definitely looking forward to returning again soon!

Absolutely great place, the views are amazing, so much to do, the grounds are kept so beautiful and the inside or the Airbnb was exactly as described and shown in the pictures. Definitely recommend it

This was the fourth time which we stayed at Renzo's Airbnbs and the first time in Apartment B. It is well appointed and quaint. Very comfortable. We will definitely stay at Renzo's Airbnbs again in the future.

The Nest was the perfect spot to stay for a March Break workshop at Haliburton School of Art & Design. Clean, welcoming and nicely appointed. The bed was super comfortable. It was quiet and the kitchen had everything I needed. Andria and Larry were great at communicating. It’s also a short walk into town. Would definitely stay there again.

Was very comfortable to stay at Thomas's cottage. We stayed with 4 adults and 4 kids in the winter. The sauna was especially nice. The kitchen was well stocked. Everything worked well and communication was great.

We had a fabulous winter vacation at Jackie’s cottage. The cottage was just as we expected and the location was amazing. Being located so close to hiking trails in the park was a bonus and a great way to spend a snowy day. We would love to return to experience it in the summer. Thanks Jackie!

We had a fantastic three-day stay at a lovely cottage in Minden Hills, Ontario, to celebrate the New Year. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the peaceful surroundings and the picturesque winter landscape. The cottage was cozy, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. One of the highlights of our experience was how responsive and helpful Paul was. Whenever we had questions or needed assistance, he was quick to reply and always made sure we had everything we needed. His attentiveness added a personal touch that truly elevated our trip. The location was perfect, offering both tranquility and access to nearby trails for winter walks. We spent our evenings relaxing by the fire and enjoying the quiet beauty of the snowy woods. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook delicious meals, and the thoughtful details throughout the cottage made us feel right at home. Thank you paul for everything - can’t wait to return

Beautiful winter stay at well equipped comfy cabin! Definitely need 4WD and snow tires for the roads up in Haliburton. But so beautiful and peaceful with gorgeous view of the lake. Deer come through the property regularly. Cabin warmed up quick once wood stove got going. Beds were very comfortable. I only recommend visitors bring dry firewood to get fire going when you arrive. :-) Great experience would love to book again in fall.

Alan & Rosalie’s cottage was everything we could have asked for and more ! It was a perfect place to just relax and recharge after a busy fall and Christmas season. We wanted for nothing, it had everything we needed. Alan met us when we arrived and explained where everything was and how it all worked. My wife and I and our two dogs had a wonderful experience. We will most definitely be doing a return visit. If you are looking for a place to getaway and relax this is the place, highly recommend it ! Thank you Alan & Rosalie !

My husband and I stayed with our baby and two dogs, and we had the best trip we have ever had. We were there for 10 days & it wasn't long enough! Kiki was very responsive, helpful and kind. She provided us with everything we needed. The cottage was overall, clean and tidy, warm and cozy. There are so many books and board games to choose from as well (Though they could use an update so bring your own if you're into that). The campfire was great, canoe was also great though a little shallow. The view was breathtaking and waking up to it was a dream. Swimming was so much fun as well, the water is crystal clear and it's shallow at first but then gets deep. Our experience was very private but I think it was just the time of year as the two cottages are quite close, so, keep that in mind. You can hear the highway but it didn't bother us. There is so much to do in the area of Haliburton & Bancroft too I highly recommend the trails, the Wolf Sanctuary, Abbey Gardens & the local Museums & Cafes

Patrick's cottage is definitely a gem of a find. Located by a beautiful lake, we happened to be there the weekend with record levels of snow-fall. We felt safe, warm and at home in the spacious cottage with a lot of thoughtful nooks for seating and getting together. The cottage is well stocked with anything one might need in the kitchen including coffee, oils, sauces, utensils and appliances. Thanks to Patrick's warm and quick responses he continued to let us know status of snow clearing in the area and other useful suggestions and reminders about the cottage. Our group hopes to return as we can only imagine how pretty the surroundings and the landscape would be in summer. Thanks Patrick! You are an awesome host!
