Jesse was incredibly responsive and attentive, answering all of our questions almost immediately and going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The house itself was exactly as described—beautifully designed with multiple relaxing areas to enjoy the breathtaking views. One of the highlights was sitting outside by the fireplace, overlooking the lake, which made for a truly magical experience. The entire house was impeccably clean and well-maintained. Jesse's hospitality and helpfulness made our visit truly unforgettable. We highly recommend staying here!"

Our family loved our weekend away at Kathy’s - she’s an amazing host! Always quick to respond when and if we needed her. She even left us baked goodies and snacks for check-in which was so thoughtful of her. The entire place was beautiful and clean.

Such a gorgeous property and stunning views! The main living area had views from both south and north views of the lake since it is on a point. Stocked with everything we needed. Was a lovely weekend to honour my late uncle with my family. Balsam lake was his favourite spot. We went up the weekend after the huge ice storm so the place was running on a generator, which actually stopped working for a bit but the owners were on top of it as soon as they heard. They were very helpful. Would definitely stay there again in nicer weather! 🙌🙌

Ideal cottage getaway, nestled on the trees and by the river. Lovely accommodation. Everything has been thought of. We felt very much at home. We highly recommend.

This cottage is absolutely beautiful, it's what cottage dreams are made of, and Davinia & her family put in so much love to make you feel comfortable and special. Our family felt totally entertained, we slept well, we shared laughs and made memories here that will last a lifetime. We don't get to spend long stretches of time together like this, and this space easily accommodated each of us and gave us adequate privacy we each had privacy and felt happy with the sleeping arrangements. It was so lovely to have fires every day, the hot tub was incredible, and the cottage itself has a rustic yet modern vibe to it. The drive down from Toronto was also very easy. You will thoroughly enjoy your stay here, thank you Davinia & family for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home, we loved it!

Perfect peaceful cottage on the lake. So many beds available but the spaces don’t feel crowded even with many people in the house. Cozy and truly authentic cottage feel. My son felt like the bunkie was his own piece of heaven. We appreciated the outdoor amenities such as kayaks and canoe. Even on the crisp late October days we visited we enjoyed the lake, and the wood stove kept us snug in the evening. Nathan was incredibly responsive and helpful. Just a wonderful visit overall.

Great space to relax and unwind. Hot tub and kayaks were excellent ways to utilize the relaxing nature of the property. Host was very responsive and assisted us in ensuring our stay was as we expected.

We’ve been staying at Jessica’s properties for the past four years and always enjoy our stay. If you have a boat or other water vessel, this place provides a free slip for the duration of your stay which is great! Jessica’s properties are always extremely clean, free of clutter and provide all the necessities and more! The restaurant and general store at the marina (on site) are very convenient. If you do have a boat or rent one on site, be sure to visit Juniper Island! It’s always a fav of ours to visit.

We really enjoyed our getaway at Jessica’s place. The cottage was the perfect size for two people, and the hot tub/sauna/cold plunge experience was just what we needed. We also appreciated all the nice touches around the house, like the little chocolates and bottle of wine. There are two bathrooms, a flushing toilet for #1 and a composting toilet for #2. The toilet for #2 is outside but attached to the house, and was much nicer than we anticipated. The owners are also around the property every day to work in their shop/feed their chickens so something to be aware of for privacy. We still felt like it was private because of the fencing that blocks the hot tub area. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend staying here!
