I truly enjoyed my family and I’s stay ! The house and service were both immaculate ! We felt right at home and enjoyed every moment spent. I’ll definitely recommend this location to any and everyone ! I hope to go back soon!

Laura was so kind and responsive even before we checked in. She wasn’t aware but my family and I were in town for my grandfather’s funeral so we didn’t need any added stress. Laura’s home was open, clean, and full of games to play. I’ll be staying again!

Dorothy is a wonderful hostess, very attentive and accommodating. The rental house is cozy and has everything you need. There is plenty of space and access and parking is easy. Best of both worlds because there are plenty of restaurants and shops just 15 minutes away in Rocky Mount, the location is in a quiet country setting.

We adored our stay here. My daughter is autistic, she gets very stressed with changes when we go on vacation. The smells and “feeling” of a house often dictate how comfortable she can be. She often will refuse to eat when we travel because of the smells. Well she was ravenous at this house. Let me just tell you this house instantly felt like our home. She was relaxed the whole time, our family of 4 and dog had the most fun. Definitely coming back here. We are so grateful

Beautiful home in a beautiful location. This was perfect for working at ECU Health North hospital. I really appreciated the hosts installing a gate on the deck so I could leave my dog outside.

We really enjoyed having our family gathering here. It’s spacious, comfortable, and pretty well provisioned. The game room was a big hit, as was the hot tub, particularly after several (younger) family members did a “polar plunge” twice. As the father of the crew, I enjoyed a scenic kayak tour of the lake with my wife. The lake views from the property are pretty special too.

What a wonderful location and a beautiful home. It accommodated our large family and having the guest house helped keep the noise level down for sleeping/napping children. The gazebo was a great spot for the adults to gather in the evening to visit and play games. The home was clean and well stocked with everything needed. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

I've stayed at this home several times, for months at a clip for work (as I live on the other side of the state) and i have not one complaint. Spacious, clean, private and with a carport, everything I need to 'live on the road.'

This house is exactly as described and the surroundings are beautiful! It is perfectly appointed. Everything you could need is available. Jamie and Mary are kind, polite and very responsive hosts. We held a small women's retreat here and it was comfortable and had every accommodation. This is our second year and we planning on returning. Jamie and Mary are perfect hosts.

This home is exactly as shown. The beds were comfortable - and a lot of them - and the bathrooms were spotless! Four sisters traveling to see another sister so we all had our own bedroom. Perfect place to stay and will definitely book again next year. Jackie was friendly and quick to respond to the one question we had.

Great stay. Dock has a boat in it but we had plenty of space for two large boats. Fenced in yard and doggie doors were great. Plenty of sleeping space!

My family gathered here before and after my 94-year-old dad's memorial service, and it was a perfect location to celebrate his life since he always enjoyed water activities with his family. Cathy was very easy to communicate with, and the house was 10-Star clean and lovely. The sheltered cove was perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding! The space was very family friendly. Cathy had a nice crib set up for the 11-month old and provided a high chair. The older cousins loved being together in the bunk room! One thing I may have missed in booking was there is a slight charge for towels and linens, and you must request this service. Thankfully, I asked about this beforehand and was able to get the service. Everything was plentiful and nice quality. I have stayed in several nice AirBnb homes in the past, but this one was by far the nicest! I just got a call from my niece telling me how perfect the place was for our "memorial weekend" and for making new memories.

A wonderful Thanksgiving holiday spent in a beautiful home on the lake. The fire pit, pool table and air hockey were especially appreciated for colder weather indoor activities. I can only imagine how wonderful this home would be for a summer time vacation.

We had a great time with family at the house over Thanksgiving. The set up was good for our group and the view of the lake from the house and the pier is terrific. The decor is fun and comfortable. There are some minor maintenance issues that were needed but nothing that kept us from enjoying our stay. Would love to enjoy it during the summer when we could get out on the lake.

Great price for a great stay. Everything was as pictured. The host made herself available as needed and responded promptly to any questions. Only thing that caught us off guard was that there were no TVs or WiFi in the home. That didn’t take away from our stay & hope to return soon!
