Halifax Harbour : locations de vacances

We had such a lovely weekend! We were obsessed with the decor, the view and all the little details! It’s the perfect relaxing get away !

What a beautiful property and house - situated right on the ocean above a tidal basin, with stunning views and sunsets, and a gorgeous deck with all amenitites, BBQ, and large comfortable outdoor couch. The garden below is also lovely, with bubbling creek running down to the sea and little stone bridge. Relaxation is a given in this place! The beds are super comfortable, with luxurious bedding and dreamy mattress (I think we will get ourselves an Endy!) Bathrooms on each level were squeaky clean with tons of drawer storage. It was a good situation for my 93-year old mom who has some mobility issues, as she could sleep in the main floor bedroom, with bathroom nearby too. Kitchen was small but functional and well-equipped. The cute town of Chester is only 10-15 mins drive away, with grocery stores, etc as well as some lovely little gift shops. We had a really nice time, thank you Greg!

Absolutely loved our 12 nights stay at this stunning Airbnb in Halifax! We came as a group of 10 for my brother’s wedding and the house was beyond perfect. The place is massive, clean, elegant, and super private—ideal for a big family gathering. The ground floor living area became our favorite hangout spot, giving us unforgettable family moments. With 5 spacious bedrooms and a driveway that easily fit over 10 cars, we never felt crowded even when we hosted a dinner with friends. The host was outstanding—very responsive and helpful. We had a minor issue with a shower, and they quickly sent over a video to guide us through, which was incredibly thoughtful. Also, when we reported a small accidental damage, the host graciously waived it. That kind of support is rare. Advice for future guests: If you're planning a trip with family or friends, this is hands-down the best place to stay in Halifax. Tanya's place was our #1 favorite Airbnb that was stayed at during our mother/daughter trip around Nova Scotia. The location is secluded but you are a short 15 minute drive to restaurants and another 15 max to Peggy's Cove. The house is so beautiful and amazing that is actually sits on top of a rock (the front porch is the rock)! Many opportunities to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view of the water. The beds were THE most comfortable and amenities like washer and dryer were great as well. We chatted with Tanya the morning we were leaving and she gave us a walk around of future plans for another building on site, which only lead to my mom and I making the immediate decision that we WILL BE BACK! Next time we will stay for longer than just one night, it is worth spending several days here.

Our favorite stop during our vacation. Such a wonderful, beautiful and special place. The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were soft. The entire process was easy. Ousamma was so accommodating and communicative. We will be returning in the next few summers. Our kids loved the goats and exploring the island. We loved the hot tub and the incredible views. Unmatched by anywhere we’ve visited. So much fun!

Fabulous location, quiet although close to a busy commercial street with lots of eating and shopping options, sweet back porch/balcony, helpful and quick-to-respond host, stocked milk in fridge for our morning coffee after a late night arrival - lovely personal touch.

Our family had a fantastic Christmas at Deanna’s. It looks exactly as advertised, and is just really comfortable. Deanna was very helpful and timely in responding to questions, prior to, and during our stay. She was very flexible and accommodating to meet our timing needs. Awesome location and view. The accommodation is great, well taken care of and great for a family stay. Will definitely stay here again if back in the area.

Cozy little spot.. beds were amazing.. usually beds are not comfortable and appreciated the bedrooms on the second floor, Felt like home…. Quite area outside the hustle and bustle of the big city!!
