Simona and Sorin's place is a real gem. The pictures don't do it justice. It's such a beautiful open space and was absolutely immaculately clean. The views were beautiful and the surroundings are so peaceful. The house is very well appointed with everything you would need and the hosts were very responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here. The details in the house were very much appreciated, like really nice linens and a well stocked kitchen. The hot tub is also a bonus. We enjoyed sitting in there in the evening and soaking in all of the surroundings.

We had such a lovely weekend! We were obsessed with the decor, the view and all the little details! It’s the perfect relaxing get away !

We had a wonderful time at Cheryl’s property. She was very accommodating with check in and check out times- which we really appreciated! This property was very clean, and we felt very comfortable! It has a beautiful view, and we felt far enough away from being in the city, while being only a 20 minute drive away! Would highly suggest this property, and Cheryl as a host!

The cottage is adorable and I loved the comfy beds and just the coziness of the cottage. The view is great and the sea breeze was so relaxing.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway—relaxing, peaceful, and just what we needed. The space was exactly as described, and Dean was always available and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to unwind in a calm setting!

This cottage is amazing. It was clear that attention was paid to every detail. The beds were super comfortable, there were lots of activities for the kids (games, play station, colouring supplies etc), and the hot tub overlooking the ocean was just amazing. We really loved it and didn't want to leave.

My boyfriend and I stayed 2 nights at Tara’s cottage and we can’t say enough good things about it! It was very clean and had everything you might need for your stay. The hot tub and wood stove made our stay feel very cozy and relaxing! Not to mention the amazing lake view! Tara was very helpful and quick to respond with any questions we had. We will definitely be back in the warmer months to enjoy the lake! Thanks again Tara!

L’arrivée fut très appréciée avec le panier remplis de belles petites surprises. Quel belle attention. Vraiment une très belle vue , l’emplacement est magnifique. La maison très belle et très propre. Nous avons passé de très bons moments en famille. La seule recommandation serait d’arranger la cuve de la toilette car il faut toujours vérifier la chaîne sinon elle la cuve ne se remplit pas .

The cottage was exactly what we were looking for. Great communication great service. We were there longer than most, but it was a very comfortable cottage.

Super laid back area, lots of room in the backyard if you were to travel with kids or pets! Super open concept and was super homey

I had a lovely stay at David and Nancy's cottage. The cottage was roomy, spotlessly clean and fully equipped (the kitchen had a few items in it that I don't even have in my own kitchen). It was comfortable and convenient and David and Nancy were responsive, kind and generous. I would definitely stay with them again the next time I am in Hubbards. (I'd come back just for Nancy's homemade chocolate mints!)

First time visiting Nova Scotia and we couldn’t have chosen a better home and location. Beautiful home, 10/10 view and location, and very communicative and helpful hosts. Highly recommended for anyone looking to visit the area!

The feeling of coming into this cozy cottage on a rainy, cold October afternoon was amazing - Jody had a crackling fire going in the wood stove and it was as if we were coming home. The dogs loved the wooded trails around the large, private property and the highlight was the adorable bridge crossing a wide brook. The area was peaceful and quiet and we highly recommend it.

Janet is an amazing host and person. I’m so grateful to her and her husband for everything they did to make my stay exactly what I needed. They went above and beyond to help me out and make sure I had what I needed for my month long retreat. Great local recommendations and available when I had questions. They even sent the caretaker to help me with the bathtub so I could take a bath when I was feeling under the weather. So friendly, kind, and helpful, I am so grateful!

What a beautiful property and house - situated right on the ocean above a tidal basin, with stunning views and sunsets, and a gorgeous deck with all amenitites, BBQ, and large comfortable outdoor couch. The garden below is also lovely, with bubbling creek running down to the sea and little stone bridge. Relaxation is a given in this place! The beds are super comfortable, with luxurious bedding and dreamy mattress (I think we will get ourselves an Endy!) Bathrooms on each level were squeaky clean with tons of drawer storage. It was a good situation for my 93-year old mom who has some mobility issues, as she could sleep in the main floor bedroom, with bathroom nearby too. Kitchen was small but functional and well-equipped. The cute town of Chester is only 10-15 mins drive away, with grocery stores, etc as well as some lovely little gift shops. We had a really nice time, thank you Greg!

Justin was an amazing host for the extended length of time we stayed at his place. Would highly recommend!

We were so pleased with the location and amenities of Graeme’s cottage by the sea. We felt right at home, and he couldn’t have been a more lovely, responsive host.

We had a great stay. We loved the location. People were extremely friendly. Everything met or exceeded our expectations. Our host/hostess were extremely helpful with any questions we had. We would definitely go back.

A truly magical place. Location is ideal to visit so many different towns, trails and excursions. However, starting the morning off on the deck watching the sunrise and then ending the day cooking on the BBQ. The house is fully equipped with every kitchen gadget needed. 3 good sized bedrooms with comfortable mattresses. There is a wonderful community feeling.

Jared and Toni sent us a welcome message to make sure we made it in ok. The place was immaculate and recently updated, rustic lux. The bunkhouse, or shedroom, as we called it, was external to the house and was super quiet when the wind wasn't howling (we showed up in a storm). The view of the bay had plenty of wildlife and the supplied binoculars made the viewing that much better. Supplied Keurig coffee was a nice touch, but we opted for the coffee shop in Sheet Harbour most days, the oyster stout from Sober Island Brewing at night. Try the Spry Bay special pizza from the campground down the road, you can thank me later. We would certainly stay again, if they would have us.

Super logement tout près de l'océan. C'était très agréable de se lever avec la belle vue. Nous avons beaucoup visiter les environs et Halifax donc nous n'avons pas été longtemps au logement, mais j'avais choisis cet endroit puisqu'il y avait un foyer pour faire une feu extérieur et la proximité de l'eau. Je recommande fortement. Merci Matthew!
