Hambantota : locations de vacances avec suite privative

We had a pleasant experience, the place is well maintained, the only thing was that the host is building a kitchen at the back and it looked a little disorganized but not too bad. We asked his help with the dinner and Yala park transportation and dinner. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

I don’t think it has ever happened to me that I would leave an accommodation in tears. But that’s exactly what happened at Red Hill Yala. The care we received here was unlike anywhere else. The food was simply phenomenal. In fact, one meal a day might have been enough because there was so much of it! The accommodation itself is simple, clean, and deeply connected with nature. About a ten-minute walk from the cottage, there is a beach lined with palm trees, offering perfect shade from the sun. During our six days at Red Hill Yala, we didn’t see a single person there. Incredible. Be prepared for big waves. If you’re traveling with small children, like we were, consider bringing inflatable vests and be aware that you’ll need to keep a close eye on them. The host was always in touch, gave us great local tips for trips, arranged our airport transfer, and helped us with everything we needed. It is a magical place. Thank you! ✨

The rooms are very clean and you have all what you need. We ate in the evening rice & curry. It was so good! So please do this also, when you stay there. If you have any questions or need some informations it's no Problem. Very friendly and helpfully!! Was a very nice place and the Garden is wonderful!

Von Anfang bis zum Ende wurde mein Aufenthalt gut gemanagt, kleine Probleme wurden vom Gastgeber schnell gelöst. Das Grundstück ist eher privater und beherbergt noch zwei weitere Bungalows, alle Objekte liegen isoliert. Das Cottage ist ruhig, wohnlich und ausgesprochen gut ausgestattet. Der Freiluftbereich ist auch bei stärkeren Regenfällen sehr gut nutzbar. Am sauberen, fünf Minuten entfernt liegenden Strand gibt es Liegen gegen den Kauf von Drinks, Kokosnüssen oder Mahlzeiten, die Brandung ist intensiv, Baden ja, Schwimmen nein (2/25) Der etwas entfernter liegende Silent Beach ist zwar weniger entwickelt, aber m.E. dann den Weg nicht wert. Ich komme gern wieder, wenn ich darf.

We had an absolutely serene and relaxing stay. You can see and feel the thoughtfulness and consideration that went into designing and shaping this place. The folder with recommendations was spot on and much appreciated! Breakfast was delicious and lovingly served on our patio for us to enjoy the stunning view over the ocean. Would recommend if you’re looking to unwind, enjoy the view and read, do yoga or go for a swim. Tangalle is a 10 minute tuktuk ride away (~2-3€)
