Very glad to have had our family stay at this property, the owner was very helpful and the kitchen staff was very nice, his food was also really good! Great place to have a family gathering, with a pool and all the amenities at a reasonable price! Recommend

Wonderful stay, highly recommend! We were four adults staying here for 3 days and our time flew by. The property is located on a stunning, pristine beach. Aside from fishermen in the morning and a spattering of tourists, we had the beach to ourselves for most of the day. The property looks just like the photos - nice rooms and a swimming pool which the staff cleaned daily. A highlight of our stay was the home cooked food. We had fantastic Sri Lankan meals thanks to the villa's team. Only major complaint was the lack of outdoor umbrellas - we had to keep moving our lounge chairs to follow the shade from the trees throughout the day. Also we were able to enjoy swimming but note that the waves on this beach can be deceptively powerful - be careful if you have kids.

Als wir ankamen,hat uns die gesamte Familie sehr freundlich mit einem leckeren Obstsaft empfangen und ruckzuck war das Gepäck schon nach oben gebracht. Die Zimmer und die Küche sind im 1.Stock umgehen von einem tollen Garten mit allerlei Vogelstimmen.Wir waren immer beim Frühstück unten und die Familie hat uns jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Will man zum Strand oder in die Stadt kann man die 200 Meter zu Fuß zur Haustrasse gehen und ein Tuck Tuck anhalten, wenn man Glück hat erwischt man auch eines direkt vor dem Anwesen. Alles in allem supernette Gastgeber und ein wirklich tolles Anwesen

We loved our time at CJ’s villa, she is such a wonderful host and we really appreciated the personal touches and recommendations. We went with two families and the space worked really well. The villa is in a great location, Marwella beach was our favourite family beach on the south coast (and we went to loads over two months!) The location was chilled and undeveloped allowing for that feeling of dream escapism, whilst still being only a short tuk tuk journey to Hiriketiya when we wanted to dip into the energy there. The Villa itself has huge rooms and loads of outdoor space, we saw so much wildlife from the villa- better than the safari!

The villa itself is absolutely stunning – spacious, clean, and surrounded by lush greenery that creates the perfect serene atmosphere. What made my stay even more special was the incredible hospitality from the owner. Not only did he provide such a warm welcome, but he also served as our driver, making everything so much easier and stress-free. He was exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, and reliable. Whether I needed suggestions for places to visit or a ride to explore the area, he was always there, going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The combination of the beautiful villa and the personalised service made this experience unforgettable. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better host or a more perfect place to stay. Highly recommend this villa – it’s the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure with an exceptional host to match.

Es ist eine wunderschöne Unterkunft! Alle Zimmer sind traumhaft schön. An dem Haus ist ein großer Garten, durch den ab und zu ein Tier läuft. Am Grundstück grenzt ein See mit einem Aussichtsturm. Man kann von dort aus wunderbar den Sonnenaufgang beobachten. Der Sevice war hervorragend! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sie waren immer für uns da und haben uns gleichzeitig unsere Privatsphäre gelassen. Das Essen war sehr lecker ☺️ Ich kann diese Unterkunft definitiv empfehlen! Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit und diesen wunderschönen Aufenthalt 🥰

Très bon moment à la Casa Wilderness. Un moment hors du temps avec la nature. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine, d’un bon repas le soir et du safari le lendemain matin avec Supun le guide.

Serdecznie polecamy to miejsce. Czyste, komfortowe, w ustronnym miejscu z daleka od hałasu. Bardzo dużo miesjca do wypoczynku w kilka osób. Na miejscu cały czas jest osoba, która pomaga w razie potrzeby. Cudowny basen. Na miejscu kuchnia do dyspozycji, w razie potrzeby także kucharz. Bardzo fajne miejsce dla osób, które cenią sobie komfort, ciekawy design i odrobinę luksusu w Azji. Nie ma klimatyzacji na miejscu, bo willa jest w otwartej formie i to może komuś przeszkadzać

Thushara and his team were attentive yet very discreet. Best dinners in Sri Lanka were at the villa cooked by them. Plenty of fresh fish & seafood. Pool was stunning and spent most of our time in it. A perfect house for friends or family to enjoy a relaxing time together in a gorgeous setting. Walks on the pristine beach and watching the fisherman our daily routine. We saw turtles hatching as a bonus one morning.

Unser Aufenthalt im Kadju House war einfach wunderbar. Das Haus selbst ist atemberaubend – elegant gestaltet, umgeben von üppiger Natur und mit einem traumhaften Blick auf das Meer. Der Service war wirklich außergewöhnlich. Chamara und sein Team haben alles getan, um unseren Aufenthalt perfekt zu machen. Ihre herzliche Gastfreundschaft haben uns unglaublich willkommen und umsorgt fühlen lassen. Jedes Detail wurde mit so viel Liebe und Sorgfalt bedacht. Ein besonderes Highlight war der Infinity-Pool, der eine spektakuläre Aussicht bot und der perfekte Ort zum Entspannen war. Der Koch hat uns mit den köstlichsten Gerichten verwöhnt, alle traditionell und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt ein wahr gewordener Traum. Alles – von der atemberaubenden Lage über den exzellenten Service bis hin zum hervorragenden Essen – war einfach perfekt. Wir vergeben aus ganzem Herzen 5 Sterne und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. We had an unforgettable stay in Kalametiya, Sri Lanka, at this stunning beachfront villa with an amazing garden. The house is brand new and beautifully designed, with a private pool and a small splash pool perfect for our young children (2 and 4 years old). Everything looked so nice, and the attention to detail was impressive. Dinesh (house manager) and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. The breakfast and dinners were delicious, and we ended our trip with a fantastic beachfront BBQ. We even enjoyed a relaxing massage in the garden—truly a special experience. The villa is in a more secluded location, with not many restaurants nearby, except for the seafood restaurant across the street, which serves amazing food. If you're looking for a peaceful escape, this is the perfect place to unwind and relax. We had a wonderful time and can’t thank Dinesh and his team enough for their incredible hospitality. We truly hope to return one day!

Muhudu Niwasa is a slice of heaven and we loved our 10 day stay here as a family of 4, (2 adults, 2 kids). All coms before arrival were fantastic, and the team on the ground, which is run by Pradeep, who look after you whilst there were also faultless, kind, and helpful. The house is what I would refer to as "stripped-back, or no frills" luxury, and the photos are true to what to expect and it was perfect for what we were after. What makes this place so great though, is the garden/beach/pool setting. Its a great location also, whilst swimming directly on the beach in front of the house is not advised, you only need to walk 100m up the beach to find a safer spot. The kids loved the pool, the monkeys that come to visit in the garden, the odd lizard and frog on the ground, and endless coconuts from the palm trees in the garden. The food was also yummy, and there are a lot of beach restaurants nearby to try out also, our favourite was Cinnabar up the road.

Wonderful Villa. One of the most beautiful properties I've visited. My partner and enjoyed the calm atmosphere and the beautiful scenery. The beach was super close, however make sure you don't leave your belongings unattended, there were multiple occasions where we would find a man hiding in the trees trying to grab them. Also, be very careful swimming in the ocean, the waves pick up very quickly and you could easy get stuck in the riptide. Other than that, the Villa was amazing and clean. The host was responsive and very friendly and Mango the cat was a wonderful companion.

We hadden een geweldige tijd in de villa van Shanthi. Een hele ruime villa, grote woonkamer met keuken, 2 slaapkamers en twee badkamers. Ook een heel groot zwembad en goede buitenzitjes op het terras en onder de parasol. Niro en Shanthi (en familie) zijn ontzettende aardige mensen, heel behulpzaam ook. We bestelden elke dag een heerlijk ontbijt en hebben ook een keer de Sri Lankan Curry besteld, gemaakt door Shanthi. Allemaal heel goed. Het is daar heel rustig, heel anders dan bijvoorbeeld Frangipani Beach. Wij hadden een scooter gehuurd zodat we de drukte op konden zoeken maar ook naar wat rustigere plekken konden rijden zoals het nabijgelegen Silent Beach of de surf beach Unakuruwa beach. Een goede tijd gehad daar! Als we weer naar Tangalle gaan, komen we daar zeker terug!!

Une villa bien placée a deux pas de l'océan, avec une belle piscine et et une grande cuisine bien équipée pour ceux qui veulent se faire du bon poisson frais acheté au marché en revenant des très belles plages autour de Tangalle... nous avons adoré notre séjour...trop court... Car notre arrivée à Mirissa ( trop touristique) nous fait déjà regretter Tangalle.... Nous aurions dû séjourner plus longtemps chez Sergey, car en plus nous avons eu un excellent accueil de Suresh et son épouse 👍 Bref, nous recommandons fortement cet endroit 🙏. Par contre, si vous voulez découvrir les alentours, il vaut mieux être motorisé ( tuk tuk ou scooter)

I had an incredible stay at this beautiful property for two days. The private beach was a dream, and I had the once in a lifetime opportunity to witness turtle hatchlings making their way to the ocean at night. It was truly magical. The Sri Lankan food prepared by the cook was absolutely delicious some of the best I’ve ever had! The staff were extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, they also arrange a candle light dinner I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, unique getaway!

I almost don't want to review this as I would like to keep the place a secret but that would be selfish! We couldn't recommend staying in Whispering House more. Upal and his son were incredible hosts, cooking us delicious breakfasts. The house was spacious and perfect for our 2 year old to run around in, and the pool was great and a safe distance away. The location was perfect for us, restaurants close by but also quite quiet. Beautiful beaches along the coast too made for great day trips. upal sorted us out with everything we needed including a lovely lady who came and cooked for us and helped look after our child in the afternoon. Really couldn't recommend this more if you are looking for a family holiday in a stunning location with lovely lovely people.

Such a little paradise. We visited Wild Lotus with my 19-month-old and they treated her like royalty! Staff there are so hard-workng and conscientious. Simply lovely people. We didn't do a safari in the end but so so many animals and birds anyway. Very special location. Couldn't recommend this place enough. A special thank you to Ali and Naali! They looked after us so well!
