Lovely clean and comfortable apartment right by the sea and a pleasant 40 minute walk to the historic dockyard. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable for a short stay for two people, with plenty of pubs and places to eat to choose from in the nearby area, we would definitely stay there again!

Great location, within 10-15m walk of central Southsea, Portsmouth and Old Portsmouth, plus right next to the lovely Castle Road and close to seafront. Perfect for two people.

We really enjoyed our stay at Daniel and Rebecca's place, the location was very convenient for us, easy to get to loads of places in the area. Everything was really easy, all details were clear, and Rebecca was very responsive which we really appreciated. The view was amazing, the flat was gorgeous and the included parking was a lifesaver. We can't wait to come back and stay here again, we absolutely loved it. Only thing we'd say is the bed felt a little bit flimsy, turning around at night, sometimes felt like it was going to break or fall apart, other than that it was a very comfortable bed. Really great stay in an ideal part of Portsmouth for exploring the area. Thank you!

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument incroyable chez Keely. L'appartement est juste magnifique, avec une vue imprenable sur la mer. Keely et Julie ont été des hôtes formidables, très arrangeantes et compréhensives. Tout était très propre. L'emplacement était idéal pour se balader le long de la plage et pour accéder au centre ville de Ryde.

Jan could not be more welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. She always had recommendations for places to go or eat and was even willing to lend our son and bucket and spade as we had not packed his! The accommodation was plenty big enough for the three of us and each room, very clean and tidy. Great location to the beach and views of the Needles and easy access to local amenities. This place was gorgeous and exactly what we needed. It’s located less than 3 mins walk from the high street and 10-15 mins from Ryde beach. The decor inside was lovely and the place was spotless. We’d definitely choose this place again if we come back to Ryde!

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The place was very homely, comfortable and clean. Communication was great with the hosts and they really made us feel welcome. Perfect for a family getaway, especially the kids room! The view was amazing and ample space for us five. Would highly recommend to all my friends and family.

James was good at communicating, and left clear instructions for everything. He also met us on arrival. The bungalow was as per the description and photos (please note that bed 3-twin room has drawer clothes storage but no hanging space). It's clean, light and airy. The bungalow was in a quiet location and yet close to amenities and a short walk to the beach. We had 3 cars between us and were easily able to fit them on the driveway. We would happily return!" I can't think of anything else that any potential guest would need to know above the information on Airbnb and reviews already left.

Beautiful house inside and out. Excellent attention to detail (quality finishes, linen, fresh flowers on arrival). Really helpful welcome pack and welcoming/accessible communications from host/local contact. Great utilities: aga, double dishwasher/fridge freezers, utility room, integrated speakers, log fire. Thank you, we made some lovely memories here.

Travelled to Island for my wife’s aunts 80th birthday and 60th wedding anniversary celebrations. House was just as described, clean, spacious, comfortable and ideally located for seafront and high street. Extremely well equipped kitchen plus welcoming items including sourdough , butter, preservatives , milk, orange juice and shortbread. Spacious lounge with planting of seating. My wife and daughter loved the soaps, shower gels and fresh smells in the bathrooms. I thoroughly recommend this property and would re book if returning to the Island Tips: Grab the double room on 3rd floor if you prefer medium to soft mattress and watching tv in bed! We felt the middle bedroom mattresses were a bit on the hard side for us personally but this would not stop me from rating this property 10/10.

Myself and my family had a beautiful stay at Poppy’s by the sea! An amazing location a short walk from the seafront and the perfect home for a big family weekend :) Louise was very helpful and provided several restaurant recommendations, we hope to stay here again in the future!

Beautiful house, the large dining table and upstairs sitting room meant it was great for spending time with family. Thoughtful little extras like fresh milk in the fridge, and useful things like dishwasher tablets in the kitchen meant we didn’t have to go out and get everything for a 3-night stay. We felt like we were staying with friends!

Lovely bungalow a few minutes walk from the sea and from shops. Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen is compact but well equipped. Be aware there is no freezer. Dining table is also the work space, which gets quite hot as south facing. Excellent wi-fi. Great garden, safe for the dog.

We loved our stay at Jackie’s place. It was spotlessly clean and very spacious and comfortable. The bed was comfortable with good quality bedding too. Within walking distance of Hamble Quay and lots of great restaurants and pubs. We will definitely return! Thanks again for a lovely stay!

A fantastic spot to stay in for exploring Southsea and Portsmouth. It is a matter of minutes from the beach and the restaurants in Southsea - the location could not be better. The apartment was stunningly decorated, lovely and bright and airy and so warm. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back. Thank you!

what a lovely little cottage this was! we loved it from the moment we arrived to the moment we left little cakes get left out upon arrival and they are also at hand if you need anything as well all applicants in full working order and the sky light was brilliant in the bedroom wouls highly recommend to anyone seeking a quite quante little get away with in a stones throw to the forest as well

Great location for Seaview and it’s beaches. Pubs and Hotel/Restaurant all short walks. Priory Bay beach is superb, though only really easy at low tide unless you really like steep steps and muddy paths! Swimming at various points according to tide so easy. Had a fabulous time.

Just perfect for what we needed, large and comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, small and secure yard to allow dog out in. Quiet area and building, a plus for a fireworks nervous dog on NYE!

I booked Leigh's place at very short notice and Leigh was able to get the place ready for us quickly. Alma Court was very clean, warm and comfortable and close to shops. We did a lot of walking and it was a convenient place to get back to as there are regular buses a couple of minutes walk away. We had a nice meal in The Red Lion too. Thank you Leigh.
