A taste of Tuscany in Newstead is all we can say!! Great indoor outdoor flow with all the amenities to keep people active and engaged. The tennis court provided entertainment and controversy while the spa and pool provided relaxation and ambiance. The complementary bubbles received on arrival was well needed after a long trip with a talkative passenger. Great entertainment facilities and loved the touch of country surroundings, would stay again.

Michelle is a very friendly host who makes it easy to feel comfortable in her home. Her home is accurate to the description and photos, and the room we occupied met our needs for the night. Highly recommend Michelle's place for anyone looking for a home away from home, wants to get to know a local, and enjoys a good chat.

Jake was extremely accommodating and the house is exactly as described. The property is peaceful and the surrounding area is beautiful.

Great spot, quiet location yet within easy walking distance of the township. Was a nice touch to arrive to a nice fire burning after a busy day. Thoroughly recommend if you are looking for something with a nice comfortable homely feel, in or around Cambridge.

Chloe and Tom were a dream to deal with. Prompt, efficient and friendly. Their home is family friendly, warm and cosy. The location is ideal for any Tamahere/ Matangi commitments. Will stay again hopefully if needing accommodation for 10! Thankyou so much 💓

Beautiful setting. Very comfortable. Just as described. Loved the outdoor hot tub and watching the animals next door. Kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves and didn’t want to leave . Puzzles and games made available was a nice touch. Basic kitchen was available, but would have been better if there was a microwave to heat up food and some sugar provided along with the coffee / tea and milk. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

Our stay at this incredible retreat was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the modern design, incredible spaciousness, and overall warmth of the home. It is impeccably kept, beautifully designed, and stocked with every amenity we could possibly need—truly a home away from home. Visiting many beautiful places in New Zealand, simply spending time in this home became a massive highlight of our trip. Whether we were enjoying breakfast on the patio or taking a dip in the pool, every moment felt like a five star retreat. The surrounding area is breathtaking, with lush greenery, rolling hills, and peaceful views. It feels like a true escape however it is just a short drive from the city, shopping, and freeway making it the perfect balance of relaxation and convenience. Our hostess Tracy was an absolute gem—so welcoming, accommodating, and genuinely kind. She went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care. We will absolutely be back!

Mathew's place is truly special — from the fun 4x4 ride through a deer park to the cabin, to the stunning views, total privacy and the covered barbecue area. Just know that it’s quite off the grid, which adds to the charm but also means it’s a bit rustic — the space wasn’t spotless (some dead insects in the outdoor shower, beddings didn’t feel fresh), but it felt understandable given the remote location. The ride with Mathew was super fun (we stood on the back and held the rails!) but it was raining, so we arrived completely wet — not a problem as we had jackets but might not suit everyone. When we arrived it was foggy, so we didn’t see the view until the second evening — but when it cleared, it was absolutely worth it. We recommend coming once and staying put — we walked 45 minutes back to our car as we had some program in between, but it's a nice walk. All in all, we loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for something different who doesn't mind a bit of adventure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabins on our drive from Waitomo Caves back to Auckland - we just wished we’d stayed longer! The surroundings were so peaceful and the outdoor bath and shower were a really cool experience. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome :)

Enjoyed a night away with my wife in this awesome cabin . Clean and tidy . Outdoor bath was perfect . Private space with lots of little add ons like muesli for breakfast , brownie and even bath salts . Corrie was helpful and responsive. Would 100% recommend choosing this spot for a getaway from all the hustle and bustle !

A lovely stay! Beautiful private outlook. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck in the after sun with a cup of tea. Every you need in the tiny home. A short drive into Cambridge. It was great to have local activities listed by the host. Thank you for a lovely weekend away at cute country cottage!

Perfect spot for a weekend get away!! We really enjoyed our time at the tiny home, great location - close enough to town and surf. Easy check in and check out process and the outdoor bath was an added bonus. Will definitely be coming back

Christine’s cabin is private and peaceful. Perfect for a quiet weekend away but also less than ten minutes into Raglan town. Would absolutely stay again!

Had an amazing stay at this secluded guest house. The hosts are super friendly and responsive to any questions or requests you may have. We thoroughly enjoyed the use of the hot tub and fire pit under the stars. They kept the hot tub going when we were out during the days and evenings. Most of all we loved the unique landscape from the deck that made you feel like you were straight in the shire (Lord of the Rings). 10/10 would recommend

Cole is a super host!! This property is absolute stunning - not to talk about the view. Perfect with no issues at all. Can highly recommend this spot !!
