We spent a long weekend at Sweet Water Farm with extended family - what a treat this was! There was plenty of space for us all and the bedrooms were arranged in a way that there was privacy but also great common areas to be together. The house is tucked away at the end of a quiet dead end road. We enjoyed spending time at the house - s'mores by the fire, on-property hiking trails, and beautiful views - but also time out and about exploring the history and beauty of the area. Meals were simple to make for a crowd as the kitchesthad plenty of pots, pans, utensils, etc. of all shapes and sizes. I love AirBNBs but sometimes directions can be confusing. We really appreciated the many clear notes around the house explaining house expectations and agreed it was the best we have seen at any AirBNB! Our host was very responsive and accommodating, everything in the home was as described and easy to use/find, and set us up for a wonderful weekend of family memories. Highly recommend!

Lovely house at on a private cul-de-sac. Lots of room for 3 adult couples in town for a family wedding. Well appointed kitchen. Each couple had a separate bathroom, handy when getting ready for the wedding. Enjoyed hanging out in the comfortable common spaces. Sharing take out in the formal dining room one night was a treat. Beautiful back yard with patio and open porch surrounded by trees.

We had a wonderful 5 days at the house and felt right at home. The location is very secluded and peaceful which is exactly what we wanted. It felt very cosy with the woodburning stove. Despite the freezing temperatures we felt very warm and comfortable. We had some communication with Debra beforehand as one of our party had recently broken her arm and conditions at the house were snowy and icy. Debra was very concerned for our safety and was proactive in letting us know the conditions and willing to let us change the date of our booking if we wanted (we didn't), which we very much appreciated. We were met at the property by Jorma who kindly showed us around the house and how to use the woodburner, he also checked in on us a couple of times via text to make sure all was going well. We were provided with lots of info and recommendations about the local area, trails, and things to do. We also had a lovely gift basket on our arrival. Thanks for a lovely vacation!

Our second stay and would return again. Beautiful and well maintained home in a picturesque setting in the always beautiful Berkshires. Pele is a responsive and helpful host, while amenities in her home ensure a comfortable stay.

Susan's place was like many others have said, equivalent to visiting a museum! Being an 18th century farmhouse, it's a piece of history that Susan kindly shares. We could have stayed much longer and wished we had a week there to explore and appreciate it all. Our trip was rainy, which made the dirt road muddy, but Susan was calm and helpful as we worried about getting stuck in our small sedan. We left grateful for getting to experience the solitude of this Massachusetts gem, even with the unpredictable weather. My husband and I couldn't get enough of the home with its cracks and creaks. Our son loved the toys and hiking in the woods. The large fireplace was a highlight of our trip, and Susan herself was a large part of what made this stay so lovely. She is extremely kind and hospitable. We can't say enough wonderful things about this listing in a short review. We hope to visit again one day.

This home is in the midst of beautiful trees and well off the beaten path. My parents accompanied me to visit my daughter at Smith College, and they said they felt “at peace” in this place and would gladly stay there again. My father marveled at the heating/furnace system (he went down to see the huge pellet bag in the basement and wanted to talk with Mary about how it all worked), which is state-of-the-art and makes the large house a constant comfortable temperature. Mary was very responsive and kept us informed, and my parents visited with her when I was in Northampton for a morning. (My father said he could have talked to Mary all day.) For them, the staircase leading up to the bedroom was a bit challenging, and that would be the only downside to our stay. We had everything we needed, and our mantra whenever we were looking for something was “Mary probably thought of that.” Thank you for everything!

Wow, this home exceeded expectations at every turn. The pictures and reviews do not do it justice. The host was amazing, she ensure a quick and easy check-in and followed up with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Two ski locations near by and the town of Williamsburg just 5 minutes away for all your needs. House had every amenity you could possibly need, and the home was extremely clean. We will be back and recommend to all of our friends. Thank you !!

Beautiful location in Otis, right on the lake and so peaceful. The house is very spacious and easily accommodated our family ( 7 adults and 2 children). All the windows in the house provided great views of the lake, especially from the deck. Our host Nick was very responsive when we had questions or any concerns. Would be nice to come for a stay during the summer.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Peter's loft for a weekend of winter hiking and snowboarding. The weather didn't cooperate with us that weekend for outdoor activities as a snow storm rolled through which honestly didn't bother us at all because the loft was the perfect place to be snowed in. We had such a great time cooking late breakfasts, cuddling up by the pellet stove watching movies, and even got a chance to brave the cold to check out massMOCA. We didn't see Peter once so it felt very private but he was just a text away. He let us add a night to get in before the storm, he stayed on top of the shoveling (don't know how tbh), and kept us updated on road closures during our checkout. He even has a backup generator incase the power went out. Overall we had a great time in such a clean nice space and would definitely recommend to anyone.

Shannon’s space is beautiful and architecturally interesting. Very inviting and centrally located for exploring Northampton. I highly recommend it to anyone. And don’t be put off by the upstairs climb. You can always stop to rest along the way and it’s worth it!

Erin is lovely and so is her carriage house. A huge winter storm came in just before my arrival--lots of snow and many trees down, lost power, etc. In spite of all this, Erin had cleared a parking space for me, shoveled and sanded both driveway and walk ways. The kitchen area was a bit hard to heat but the upstairs bedroom and beautiful sitting area were toasty warm, spacious and very comfortable. I hope one day I'll return in the warmer months when I can be out in the beautiful countryside all around. It's a gorgeous area!

Katie and Mike are fabulous hosts! Katie provided helpful information prior to our arrival. Mike helped us pump up a flat bike tire and gave us great tips on area activities. The apartment was very clean and spacious given its size because it's not cluttered. The bed is very comfortable, and everything in the apartment worked well. The pool is lovely! It's shared with the family, but Mike and Katie were very thoughtful about making it accessible to us when their kids weren't in the pool. The house is set in a quiet, rural setting but only 20 minutes from downtown Northampton. I would definitely recommend this spot to other travelers!

This was a great space for a getaway with my husband. This is the cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed in! This was very impressive and greatly appreciated! We live in the area, and it is a great location close to a ton of things to do (outside and inside) and a wide selection of restaurants in multiple directions. The location was quiet and felt private. Lindsey was super communicative and very responsive. Internet worked great (which was an issue in some other airbnbs we've stayed in). It was well stocked with appliances, and all the things we could need for our stay (we love a good king bed). We highly recommend!

Great place, as described, and super communicative host who provided a lot of great recommendations for the area. Perfect for what we were looking for and dog friendly so we were able to bring the fur kid to visit our college kid. Would def stay again. Thank you!
