Set upon the eastern bluffs of the Berkshire hills, Highfields farm is a stunningly beautiful property with great vistas. The autumn leaves were changing and the crisp clear mornings gave way to comfortably warm days.! The night sky was spectacular without light pollution. We will be back

Katie's house was perfect for our get together. It was clean, cozy, and we especially loved the backyard with pool and hot tubs. Katie was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay again!

My friends and I had a FABULOUS stay. The house was welcoming, clean and comfortable. All the beds were so comfortable! There was plenty of extra blankets for snuggling. The house furnishings were good quality and very clean. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked. We loved the local beer! The bathroom welcome baskets and bathrooms were fantastic. Finally, the communication was great! We had a few questions leading up To the trip and while we were there and had fast, friendly and helpful responses. And the guide that is provided is outstanding-so much information! Also, the location is quiet and a bit secluded yet convenient to stores and such. It worked really well for our needs. I definitely would stay again and recommend it!!

Morning Side is filled with character and charm. The house itself, the furnishings, and even the book collection take you back to 18th century New England. The kitchen and dining area are particularly cozy and inviting. The windows and views are magical, particularly with a good snowfall. The host was very helpful, particularly proactive about preparing the sidewalk and driveway for snowfall, even on Thanksgiving Day!

We had a truly lovely stay in Katrina and Jonah’s home. It is very comfortable, beautifully decorated and well equipped. And the setting is gorgeous. We so enjoyed our weekend!

From the beginning of this stay until the end, Cindy and Ron were great hosts. We were coming together as a 4-generation family from Vermont, California and Massachusetts to be here for a birth, and we could not have found a better place to stay than this one!

We had a fantastic stay at Joan’s house! She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even baking delicious banana bread and providing snacks, wine and water for us. The house was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy and well-kept home away from home. A lovely place to stay. A wonderful mash up of design concepts that flowed well together: Scandinavian, Japanese, mid-century modern. The flow-through living space with large sliding doors leading to a deck makes the space feel incredibly large and open, yet cozy and comfortable. Will definitely stay again.

Lucas’s place is exactly as pictured. Lovely. Kitchen is exceptional! My stay was in winter so snow can be a bit of a challenge but manageable. I’d like to experience it in summer.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house- I only wish it could have been longer than one night! The place was clean, cozy, and comfortable. When she learned my family was renting the cabin to celebrate my mom's birthday, Elle Michelle went above and beyond to provide a special birthday welcome basket and card- I really appreciated this generous gesture. The sauna was a welcome treat on a cold and windy day. We'll be back for another family celebration!

We had a lovely long weekend here with family, enjoying the surrounding areas for winter fun. Christina was so responsive and helpful, the space was cozy and the outdoor areas gorgeous!

Victoria's house felt like home. It was so easy to get comfortable and relax and the property is serene and beautiful. It had everything we needed and her communication was clear, helpful and swift. We highly recommend.

This was our second stay - we were here last fall. Overall, we were quite satisfied, as we knew the layout and quirks. Being able to walk to town was key for us - we love the area. The bedding and beds are very comfortable and plush. It would have been nice to have a separate hand towel for the bathroom and a kitchen towel. The internet was also very slow, which was a bummer as this also affected the TV. We were out most of the time, though, so it did not impact us as much. The apartment was very clean - which is much appreciated.

Lovely house at on a private cul-de-sac. Lots of room for 3 adult couples in town for a family wedding. Well appointed kitchen. Each couple had a separate bathroom, handy when getting ready for the wedding. Enjoyed hanging out in the comfortable common spaces. Sharing take out in the formal dining room one night was a treat. Beautiful back yard with patio and open porch surrounded by trees.

We had a wonderful 5 days at the house and felt right at home. The location is very secluded and peaceful which is exactly what we wanted. It felt very cosy with the woodburning stove. Despite the freezing temperatures we felt very warm and comfortable. We had some communication with Debra beforehand as one of our party had recently broken her arm and conditions at the house were snowy and icy. Debra was very concerned for our safety and was proactive in letting us know the conditions and willing to let us change the date of our booking if we wanted (we didn't), which we very much appreciated. We were met at the property by Jorma who kindly showed us around the house and how to use the woodburner, he also checked in on us a couple of times via text to make sure all was going well. We were provided with lots of info and recommendations about the local area, trails, and things to do. We also had a lovely gift basket on our arrival. Thanks for a lovely vacation!

This was perfect! Fantastic kitchen for us to cook with our son. Quiet location with dark bedrooms and comfy beds for great sleep. The home was absolutely charming and wonderful. Kristen was super-responsive and helpful. Woody was a joy when we met him Sunday morning! Will definitely look to stay here when visiting our son.

Our group included our daughter, her husband and child. We stayed 3 nights at Susan’s house, and are so grateful and happy. Susan lives next door and was on hand to greet us, and then she completely gave us our privacy. With our toddler grandson, we so appreciated the high chair, baby gate, board books and wooden puzzle. It was a perfect environment for ALL of us. We cooked a big dinner and 2 breakfasts in the well-appointed kitchen, served in the beautiful dining room. Comfy couch & chairs in living rm. The bedrooms were spacious, with comfy beds and good closet space. The bathroom was excellent, good water pressure and fluffy towels. We appreciated the window air conditioners, which kept us all quite comfortable. We loved Susan’s environmental consciousness, and were glad to compost, recycle and conserve. Oh, and the front porch is a delight! Such an inviting extra space, which we enjoyed. The street is quiet and close to town, an easy walk. I HIGHLY recommend this home and Susan!

We had a great time. Actually had heavy snow our first morning that added to the ambiance. Kitchen had everything we needed. We were visiting my daughter at Smith College and enjoyed the contrast between Northampton and the countryside of Ashfield. Looking forward to returning to take advantage of the hiking.

Modern, comfortable house, perfect if you have children!

This is a beautiful and spacious farm house that’s also super comfortable. It was a great spot to spend a weekend with family. Mindy lives right behind the house so was available if we needed anything.

Wonderful stay! The space was just as pictured—clean and comfortable. Very kind and responsive hosts. Would recommend.
