The cabin and the surroundings are absolutely breathtaking from the moment you walk in the front door! The design in the style of the home is outstanding! Alison was an amazing host and very quick to respond! If you’re thinking about going, you definitely should! We are thinking about going back in the fall!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is so well-equipped, they have literally thought of everything you might need. The outdoor spaces are amazing, so many options for sitting outside and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. We really appreciated the pet run, which made it so simple to travel with our pooch. Highly recommend!

John and Jade's place was awesome! It was secluded and in a beautiful area. Wardensville was a quick drive away and had food and grocery options. They were responsive hosts and everything stated in the listing was exactly as described. Would definitely recommend for a weekend getaway!

We had a lovely time at the River Roost. This property was so quant and peaceful . The cabin was adorable , clean and updated . We really enjoyed the country livin'. We visited Davis, WV AND Black Water Falls . Which were about 40 mins away and the drive was absolutely scenic .We loved walking down to sit by the river . The farm we were on had beautiful views perfect for watching sunrises and sunsets. The hosts were helpful and responsive . Thank you for having us :)

Sabitas place was cozy, yet spacious. The four of us + my dog enjoyed the basement tv room and Foosball, bird and rain sounds from the porch and hot tub, and cooking and dining together in the kitchen. While the road and the neighbors felt a little closer than we expected since the foliage hasn't grown in yet for the season, we still experienced the serene forest escape and relaxation we were hoping for. Sabita was responsive when we needed help figuring out the AC, and was flexible with checkin and checkout . Her home is thoughtfully supplied and decorated. I highly recommend her spot if you want to enjoy nature +amenities in a home away from home!

This was a beautiful clean cabin. Hannah went above and beyond to add touches that felt like home. Many supplies you’d normally need were furnished. The hot tub was very clean and relaxing. We very much enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. Hannah was very nice and helpful.She was always available when we texted. We highly recommend and would stay again when we travel. ❤️

This beautiful cabin was exactly what I wanted and needed for a bachelorette weekend away. The view is breath taking, the pictures do not do it justice. The cabin is so thoughtfully decorated and has literally everything you could need for your stay! Maureen truly thought of everything. She was super easy to talk to and quick to respond, you’ll love this place! I can’t wait to come back.

This place was fantastic for a group. Kitchen was well stocked with good utensils and cookware. The appliances were all very nice as well as the atmosphere. They note that it can be hard to find with GPS. this is true. Apple Maps and Waze WILL take you to the wrong place. Google Maps seemed to work perfect. Only comment id add is it’s seems you need to hit star * after typing the gate code. Great place if you want a remote escape.

Jim and Lindy have created the perfect escape for anyone looking to unwind, recharge, and reconnect with nature. Nestled in a peaceful, scenic setting, the cabin strikes the perfect balance between cozy charm and modern convenience, offering every amenity we needed for a relaxing long weekend. We spent our days enjoying the breathtaking views from the deck, gathering around the firepit under the stars, and soaking up the warmth in the inviting sunroom. Warden Lake itself is absolutely stunning — perfect for fishing, peaceful walks, and simply taking in the serenity of the water. This hidden gem is truly a slice of heaven, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. We’re already counting down the days until we return this Fall!

My husband and I booked this cabin for our two year anniversary trip. This cabin was absolutely amazing! If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, this is it. Everything was spotless and super clean and the space itself was cozy and well stocked with plenty to do inside. The hike up to the overlook near the cabin was definitely a workout, but 100% worth it for the view. We loved how quiet and serene the area was—truly a perfect escape. There was some adorable shops and a delicious restaurant just 15 minutes away and the lake was only about seven minutes from the cabin, which made for a great day trip. Highly recommend this spot if you want to unplug unwind and enjoy nature.

This cabin is perfect for a quiet mountain getaway. Spacious rooms and multiple bathrooms. The lower level game room with pool table, darts, video games, and tv was a favorite hangout. Tons to do outdoors on walking paths or down by the river. Hot tub provided an extra level of relaxation! Kitchen was stocked with everything imaginable. We had a great time!

The Hideaway was perfect for our girls getaway! The house was the CLEANEST Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. Literally spotless. The attention to detail was so impressive and much appreciated. We had everything we needed! We loved having a fire in the woodstove and cozying up on the couch for movies! We felt right at home. Adam and Chelsea were super responsive and great hosts! Would give it 10 stars if I could!

It was a great place to stay. Plenty of rooms and beds. Clean and Abby was very responsive when we had any questions. Amazing view the back deck and a nice quiet location tonrest and recuperate.

it was honestly out of this world. it was truly amazing especially in the morning when I woke up! the area was soo private and it just felt like I was in a place that you find far far way lol would recommend this to anyone wanting to be in there own lil space and environment

I think it can be hard to find a great spot for a winter vacation. This was an incredibly cozy stay for a weekend of rest and rejuvenation. I love — love — that covered patio. It was a dream to curl up with cocoa & a book in that space while looking out at the river. The space is about a half hour drive from hiking, but it’s perfect for a restful vacation. I especially loved that you could clearly see the stars from the patio at night & there were no fireworks for New Year’s Eve in the area, which my nervous puppy was so grateful for. Would love to go back!

Had a wonderful stay at this cabin. Great location right beside the river, cozy inside with nice screened porch and firepit outside. A short drive to Wardensville for services. Recommended!

Jennifer’s home was everything she described and then some. It was quiet and peaceful right on the banks of the river. It was the cleanest and most beautiful place we have stayed at thus far. We will definitely be back! A must book for those of you looking to unwind.
