By far the best AirBnb experience ever! Beautiful cabin, beautiful location (on the top of the hill), swings on the porch (my daughters’ favorites), hammock, no screens in the house (yes! yes! yes! - huge win) - we fell in love with this cabin from the first sight. Our 14yo and 7yo didn’t complain for even a second and they didn’t want to leave. This is the best rating anything could ever get. And if facts aren’t sufficient enough, this is review by my teenager „I rate this place 12 out of 10” (yes, this is the right order). Even our doggo didn’t want to get back in the car to return home. Amazing retreat spot from a very welcoming host! Greetings from Vienna!

We’ve been here several times. And it never disappoints. Hiking was beautiful, the river is awesome. Love having the whole place to ourselves. It’s so peaceful ! Thanks again !

We very much enjoyed our stay. The house and property are well maintained and everything functioned the way they should. The property offered a relaxing environment, which is what were looking for. Cynthia's place is dog friendly, which made our stay even better. Downtown is only a 10 minute ride. All in all, we had a great time and would recommend Cynthia's place to anyone who is seeking a quiet getaway in well kept home.

Mary's Cabin looked great in the pictures but was even more amazing in person! The bed and furniture were comfortable, the shower and bath were spacious, and the rugs and towels were plush. Everything was spotless and it was a perfect get-a-way spot for our wedding anniversary! It was perfect for 2 adults. It was so quiet and private which was amazing! Mary made delicious homemade muffins for us which were perfect for breakfast and so thoughtful! Even though we were in the woods we were still driving distance from Capon Bridge and Old Town Winchester which was great for food options for lunch and dinner. We really enjoyed Museum of the Shenandoah Valley which was also driving distance from the cabin (We spent a whole afternoon there exploring the museum, gardens, etc and could have stayed longer had it not been raining!) It rained most of our visit but we still enjoyed our stay because the cabin was so cozy! I highly recommend this cabin and hope we can come back!!

terrific WV cabin getaway for a weekend! cabin is comfortable and stocked with activities for kids and grown ups - we used hot tub, kayaks, play set, games, and tire swing. so much fun! Julia is a great host, very organized, and provided great instructions and things to do in the area.

EXACTLY as expected, no surprises. Carol was a dream to work with. The cabin was spotless, comfortable, and tastefully restored. Even the necessary modernization blended in seamlessly. We woke up to happy and excited birds, and otherwise, a perfectly quiet and serene setting. We WILL return!

My friends and I stayed President’s day weekend. The cabin is relatively remote but the kitchen was fully stocked for when we cooked, the rooms were comfy and the fireplace was super nice. Berkeley springs is near by and I can’t recommend the hot springs enough - appointments are usually needed. Sean was a great host and was always fast to answer any questions. Overall, we had an amazing time.

From reservation to checkout, everything about my visit was impeccable. Wonderful location, quiet, designed for spending time with a good book, exploring the surrounding mountains, hiking, good conversation, meeting friendly neighbors and enjoying music… just as described and then some. I look forward to returning soon.

We spent 3 nights here for our April Spring Break and it was exactly what we all (2 adults/2 kids) needed. This place is exactly as described in the reviews and in the pictures- even better! The place is VERY clean, very warm and welcoming, has great sheets/towels/stocked kitchen/games- and an amazing porch, hot tub, and fire pit. The place has stocked snacks, S'more supplies, and wine and coffee- a simple yet very classy touch (and quite welcomed by all of us). It truly has everything you need- soap, laundry detergent, extra dishing soap-- so nice to not have to bring anything!! We grabbed groceries in Winchester - a good idea bc there isn't much nearby. We went to Capon Bridge for amazing burgers at Farmer's Daughter and had a nice lunch in town at Drifters Cafe. We hiked, fished and just enjoyed down time. I cannot recommend this place enough!
