Hampshire : séjours à la ferme

Our stay was lovely, the location is very pretty with lots of wildlife, we saw deer, heard owls and lots of songbirds. Chris was proactive from the moment we booked and he made extra efforts to make sure we were met on arrival. The premises were very clean and well equipped. The various instructions for arrival and use of the amenities were very good and clear. The location was ideal for exploring the forest and also to get to the coast and Salisbury which is a lovely city. We also enjoyed walks from the barn for both country walking and the ability to get to Fordingbridge where there were good pubs and restaurants.

Overall, I recommend highly.

Amazing location, just a short distance from Salisbury, very peaceful location. Enjoyed seeing all the animals around the farm. Lovely view of Salisbury Cathedral.

lovely cottage to stay In and relax. every morning waking up in a peaceful place with animals surroundings like sheep, horse, donkey, ducks and dogs. host is very nice backing cup cakes for us was very nice. I recommend this place for small families that wish to visit Peppa world and long activity farm since they are very nearby. Loved the place and made my holiday extra special

Perfect location if looking for somewhere to stay in The New Forest. Great surrounding walks and only a short distance from the local Town where you can find plenty of shops, pubs and cafés. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a lively relaxing stay away, an absolute gem.

Really cosy and clean accommodation set in beautiful surroundings and just a few mins drive from West Wittering beach. We are a family of 5 with 3 young kids and the place was perfect with an excellently equipped kitchen, games for the kids and comfy beds and modern bathrooms. Alix, the owner popped in briefly to welcome us on arrival and we enjoyed exploring the local area - the beaches at West and East Wittering, the ferry from Itchenor to Bosham village and Chichester which is half an hour away. Hope to be back one day. Many thanks!

Paula was proactive and very accommodating (the property was available earlier than advertised, so we were able to move in a few hours earlier). The property is immaculately clean and well maintained. The recommendations provided in the joining email were very helpful and up to date. We'd recommend this place to friends, and would visit again.

Thank you Holly for a wonderful stay - we had a lovely long weekend with our children and friends. The barn is beautiful, comfortable, warm and had everything we could need. The space was perfect for us. The hosts were super responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Would 100% recommend for anyone considering staying here and we would definitely return.

We spent a wonderful weekend in this cozy and quiet house. Every detail of the interior reflects the care and love that Shelagh puts into her home and her guests' comfort. She provided fresh homemade eggs, jam, milk, croissants and more for breakfast. She even brought flowers from her garden, which was a delightful touch. In the evenings, we enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace; the provided firewood lasted perfectly for our two-night stay. It's advisable to arrive by car to explore the many local attractions recommended by Shelagh. We, for instance, booked a walk with alpacas, which was a unique experience. We would gladly return and hope to have more time to chat with Shelagh on our next visit. Thank you so much for this wonderful weekend!

Had a short stay here while visiting the island. The pictures cannot do this place justice, it's simply perfect. Beautiful setting and very private. We were lucky to have a clear night so the view of the stars was incredible. The kitchen is well stocked, the shower is very nice, the provision of games/pool/table tennis/books is enough to keep everyone occupied. Nicola is lovely and very informative and attentive. And the icing on the cake was Dexter taking us on a guided tour of the grounds! We will definitely be staying here next time we visit. Thanks Nicola.

We had a lovely few days at Tim and Anna's. The location is absolutely perfect: it is close enough to civilisation to be able to pop to the shops but only a few minutes walk and we were walking in The New Forest with terrific views in abundance. The barns have been lovingly restored in a modern manner - with everything we needed for our stay. We found it incredibly easy to check-in and check-out and Anna and Tim were both very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. All in all, a fantastic few days in lovely accommodation in a beautiful part of the world.

It was a treat to stay in such a roomy, well-appointed and generally lovely place. The building has been converted sensitively and to a high standard, and furnished stylishly and comfortably. We enjoyed the fascinating old books, the crisp bed linen and the top rate bathroom and shower. It was also the perfect base for trips to Winchester and Salisbury, and for local walks to cosy pubs. We didn't meet Ingrid and Charles as there was no reason to: instructions were abundant and detailed and everything worked without a hitch. We would definitely return.

My parents and I very much enjoyed our trip to Tody and Wendy's lodge. The accommodation was very comfortable and well appointed. Beds were very comfortable. Location is peaceful and quiet in the midst of some beautiful countryside. Car would be needed as its a considerable distance to a shop or place to eat. The nearest pub is a walk along a country lane with no pavements. But this was not a problem for us as it was a short drive where we needed to go. Brilliant location to visit Marwell zoo(about 8 minutes drive). Would definitely stay here again.

Claire and Monty have an absolute gem of a home on their hands. A captivating mix of old and new throughout the house and an overall super relaxing location. With a number of ways to entertain ourselves, we didn’t have any time spent on screens or twiddling thumbs through boredom, it was the perfect environment for some old friends to have a rare reunion and we couldn’t be more appreciative of Claire and Monty’s hospitality. Would highly recommend without question! Thank you so much again to both of you :)

The cottage was lovely, perfect for what we needed. Its was very clean, well equipped, beds are extremely comfortable. Sally was a great host, very responsible and accommodating, especially with our checkin and checkout times and what to do in the area. There are beatiful walks nearby and the beach is a 15min drive. A beautiful cosy cabin in the middle of the forest! 🌲 A great place to stay for a few nights, with lots of different walks right on your doorstep. The log burner was a great touch and made our evenings so cosy. It would have been even better if there was another foot stool to put your feet up when watching TV. I would also bear in mind if you’re after a completely peaceful stay is that it’s located right next to a road so was slightly noisy, but the cars weren’t too frequent. The bed was very comfortable! Astrid was so friendly, allowing us a flexible check in and gave us information about the area 🦌 We were also kindly left a cake and fresh milk! Would definitely recommend and stay again, thank you 😊
