Fabulous location, view of harbor, walk to town. Comfy beds, great living space, nice bathrooms. Decor was a mix of charming old architecture and contemporary decor and furnishings. We will be back!

Bill’s place provided a wonderful location for our family of seven to spend our Thanksgiving holiday. The house was clean, uncluttered, and comfortable in every way. The kitchen had everything we could hope to find for meal preparation. The two sitting rooms provided delightful spots for reading, conversation or catching up on the television news. The upstairs bathroom was especially room and well-appointed. While it was winter when we visited, we could tell that this house would be a truly marvelous spot during the summer months as it had a great back deck and was truly only a hundred yards or so from a beach on the Long Island Sound. While it may not be the first choice of those who are on a tight budget, we recommend this home highly.

My family had a wonderful time at Robert’s home. The house was clean and cozy and the view of the water was peaceful. He was super communicative and friendly and check in/out was a breeze. The house is in a great area and super close to East Hampton, Amagansett, and Montauk. Highly recommend!

Kate's place is an absolute gem! This was our first time to Shelter Island, and we loved the laid-back atmosphere. Kate's home has everything you need to have a relaxing weekend, from the amazing, heated pool to the kayaks on the beach, a 2-minute walk from the house! Having been in the hospitality business for over 25 years I tend to be super critical about cleanliness and amenities offered.....this house does not disappoint! We were a group of 10 attending a winery dinner and decided to stay for the weekend. We only left the house to attend the dinner, the rest of the time we stayed at the house, either in the pool, on the deck BBQing or inside chatting where there are two living rooms and a very well-equipped kitchen. The bedrooms were nicely decorated and comfortable! We would definitely recommend and hope to stay again. :)

Eileen was an amazing host! She was super flexible and communicative + house is absolutely beautiful and as pictured. Beautiful views and can watch the ocean all day. Thank you so much for hosting and would love to come back / rec others if you want a peaceful place with gorgeous views!

Laurie is a wonderful and generous host. Though we did not take advantage of it, she let us know that early check-in was possible on our arrival date. When we did arrive, we were greeted with a lovely care package of treats, including excellent treats for our dog. Really nice touches, and much appreciated. The space is clean and spacious, free of clutter, with a nice kitchen. We are especially grateful for pet-friendly hosts, and Laurie's place was truly excellent. Even non-pet people should find the space very suitable. There are no signs that other dogs had stayed there, the space, furniture and linens are all very clean. Great host, great place!

The stay was fantastic, we wanted a quick getaway for the weekend, and their home was the perfect spot. We enjoyed the space by the fire and the cleanliness of the spaces. We would love to come back for a longer stay.

Meaghan’s place was everything we needed and more! Loved the views, the waves, the sea breeze, the bird observing, the walks to Grass Island, the together time with family in a quiet, secure & well appointed setting. Meaghan equipped us with everything! She was very responsive to answer questions. This is one of those treasured memories. Can’t wait until we get back again to this special location! Thank you!

The Cottage was a perfect blend of rustic and modern, thoughtfully appointed and had everything we could think of. Our big plus was the trust and no hassle from the hosts to include our beloved big dog. My husband and I came out to the North Fork for our October babymoon. The Cottage town area is very serene during the fall season, with most activity around the pumpkin farms. Our favorite things to do—take the dog down to the bulkhead in the mornings, spend the afternoons on a nature walk/winery nearby and nights at a local restaurant. Cons but not dealbreakers: Spotty internet often went in/out. Persistent fruit flies all throughout house, traps didn’t help. The listing advises of the Main House rental, we found it not very private to the closeby Cottage. With big glass doors and sheer curtains, you’re in plain view to the House at night. It felt too intimate for our preference to share the small beach with strangers 15 ft away, esp with their kids and our dog.

This is the absolute perfect home for a get away. Everything you need and more is provided. The home is gorgeous, well decorated, and extremely clean. It is even better than the pictures. It feels like a real home, with luxury and artistic touches, not a generically decorated place. Location is perfect, close to it all and still very private. Christopher is an excellent host, responsive, helpful, and gives you your privacy. I can't recommend staying here enough.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage! The location was perfect, with a beautiful, quiet beach just a short walk away. At low tide, the sandbar created a stunning and peaceful spot to enjoy. The house was cozy and comfortable, just the right size for a relaxing getaway. The outdoor area is newly built and thoughtfully designed—perfect for unwinding after a day at the beach or morning coffee. The neighborhood was private and very friendly, which made us feel welcome and at ease throughout our stay. Gail was an incredibly welcoming host, even leaving a handwritten welcome card that added such a personal touch. The house and kitchen had all the essentials, and we were pleasantly surprised to find the fridge stocked with basics, all complimentary. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with a host who truly cared about making our stay memorable. We’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, beachside retreat in a friendly community!

Returning guest, we had a wonderful weekend at Michelle's idyllic home. Plenty of space for our two families and 3 kids. The kids love having their own space in the "she shed" while the adults enjoy the lakeside views from both the yard and inside the spacious living area. The house is always immaculately clean. Beds and other furnishings are comfortable, and the house is an easy drive to everything the North Fork has to offer. We look forward to returning (again!) soon.

We enjoyed our stay! Such easy access to the beach was so convenient. You’re definitely better off venturing out after high tide to enjoy the most amount of beach and there are a lot of shells that make being barefoot challenging. We did arrive after major storms which could have contributed to that. The house was spotless with everything you need to be comfortable! We did not utilize the outdoor space but definitely would have if the weather was drier! Definitely would stay here again.

Words cannot describe the beauty of this location. The private island setting is serene, tranquil and luxurious. Sean and Jenny are impeccable hosts, and the house is spotless, cozy, comfortable and charming. The fact that it is so close to modern living and yet so incredibly secluded and peaceful is hard to comprehend. It is a true island escape, easy and accessible with gorgeous views, surrounded by nature. I cannot wait to go back again.

We had a wonderful stay at Daniel’s home in Cutchogue. It was our second stay at one of his properties, and it did not disappoint. The house is just as described, clean and well stocked, and makes for a wonderful landing spot when exploring the North Fork.

Charming house fully stocked with all necessities. All was very clean, comfortable and tidy with beautiful morning light from the east facing windows. A short walk with beautiful views of the Long Island Sound. It was very relaxing and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Clean and cozy cabin. Close to Mystic without being right in the thick of it. We enjoyed a night by the fire with a friendly local fisherman. It worked nicely for our short trip to the area.

Great spot. We weren’t there to take advantage of the little marina and kayaks— though that would have been cool! Had a weekend event in New London and this was very easy, super straightforward and quiet. Thank you, Paul!

We had a lovely 5-day stay at the cabin on the lake! It was just what we needed. When the weather was nice, we hung out on the dock - there was a hammock to relax in, chairs in the shed, boats to explore with (I went out in a kayak a few times). Lake was peaceful and pretty. The cabin itself was quirky and nice. Yes, hot inside during the days, but with the fully surrounding screened in porch, there was no need to stay inside! Even when it rained, we could be "outside" without being in the elements. The kitchen was well stocked, coffee at the ready, there were plenty of towels and sheets and bed (though we only needed one!), shampoo/ conditioner in the shower, wood ready for the fireplace, board games and more. Honestly, it had everything you'd want for a little getaway. The spot felt secluded while only 5 minutes away from a supermarket. [Okay, you could hear Rte 8 traffic a bit, but it served as calming white noise!] I'd definitely return again...

Paul was very responsive. When we got there our room had not been cleaned. We got in touch with him and he immediately switched our room to a clean one which was fine. He was very apologetic and even brought us a bottle of prosecco. The place was cute, modern, and clean. Can't really walk to anything because it's off a busy road but it sits on the river with a beautiful view and many chairs to sit in and enjoy. We made a fire in the fire pit and cooked on the grill one chilly night. It was very nice. Close and convenient to many attractions in the area. We had our dog with us and she enjoyed it too.

We had a fabulous time! Can't wait to come back. Was equally perfect for two toddlers as it was for four adults! Beautiful property, amazing hot tub, comfortable beds, great kitchen... everything was lovely.
