The house and gardens were absolutely perfect for our annual get together. From multiple spacious living spaces and a well equipped kitchen to comfortable bedrooms the whole house is exceptionally well thought out and a real home from home. The real standout though is the outside space. We spent lots of afternoons and evenings outside on the patio under the gorgeous pergola or in the hot tub and the space is peaceful with beautiful views across to the Malvern hills. Dionne and Mark were superb hosts and very responsive to any questions we had. All in all a fantastic week and we are all keen to revisit the house soon.

The place was just as described. We were visiting some attractions in the city (Cadbury World, SeaLife Centre and Legoland Discovery Centre) but wanted to stay a little way out of the city centre, so this place was ideal. Having use of the swimming pool in the leisure centre for free was a huge bonus, we took the children for a swim every day we were there and they loved it. Easy to find, we had no issues while staying, and it seemed really clean. As some previous reviews have mentioned there is no freezer, dishwasher or dining table/chairs, but we knew this before and it wasn't a problem. We had gluten free fish and chips from a local chippy one night and ate it on our laps, and then we went to The Crown pub down the road the other night. Very happy with this place and would definitely use again if we're up that way or passing and need a place to stop overnight, good price too.

We stayed at Badgers Rest for a combination of big family birthdays - 6 adults and 4 children. We’d been looking forward to it for a long time and it did not disappoint: lots of space for the adults and children to enjoy indoors and outdoors. We had everything we needed and enjoyed spending quality family time together as we could just get on with relaxing! Hot tub was a bonus and the birthday people were spoilt by having the garden room decorated for them. The welcome basket was much appreciated. The house was near a busy road which we knew before and the cars did not keep us awake at night so it was no problem at all 😊 Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

This place is GORGEOUS!! The pictures really don't do it justice. The open plan kitchen/dining/lounge was perfect for a girly weekend. I love that each double room had its own ensuite.

We loved the place! The 4 bed house, whilst a little tired and worn in parts (everything was totally functional), had clean sheets, spotless kitchen and bathroom and was just perfect for our family stay. It had everything we needed. Others have commented on a lack of dining table but our kids ate around the coffee table and loved the fact they were allowed to watch TV at the same time! We totally made ourselves at home and watched the squirrels and birds in the garden. The facilities at the leisure centre were the highlight for us. It was amazing to have access to the gym and pool. The employees are amazing, so friendly and helpful, especially when we needed access to a mechanic in the area. Thanks for such a lovely stay! We are coming back again in May.

We had a great stay! The house is very spacious, with comfy beds and nicely decorated rooms. The bathrooms and bedrooms were spotless, and the huge hot tub was a highlight, though the filter was broken which meant quite a few wasps were floating around. The garden was a good size, and the peaceful location made it a relaxing getaway. The pool table was a great addition, although i'd recommended bringing your own cues. The host was friendly and very responsive. Shops like Aldi and B&M are just a five minute drive, and the town centre, with plenty of shops and a market, is only ten minutes away. Parking was easy, with space for 3-4 cars. A few downsides: the TVs and game console are a bit outdated. The house could use some refurbishment, but overall, it was great value for money. Despite the very minor issues, we really enjoyed our stay. With a few updates, it could easily be five stars. We’d still happily return and recommend it to others looking for a spacious, very affordable break

We celebrated a 90th and 58th birthday and a baby announcement so it was a perfect place for a family group of 10. The house was beautiful and met all our expectations and more. Everything we needed was there we only had to take food. The house was in peaceful surroundings with plenty of space. We particularly enjoyed the basement games room. The swimming pool was not available but looked as though it would be a great on a hot summers day. The cats were very friendly and cute but we had to keep them out of the house so difficult if the weather is hot and you want doors and windows open. All in all it is a beautiful, very large house in peaceful surroundings. Thank you, we loved it.

We had the most incredible stay at the barn in Knowle, it completely exceeded our expectations! The place was absolutely stunning, with beautiful interiors and everything we could possibly need for a perfect family getaway. The pool, gym and hot tub were fantastic! we had so much fun, and my two young boys absolutely loved every minute. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated, and the kitchen was immaculate and fully equipped, making it so easy to cook comfortably for our family. Paul and his wife were wonderful, friendly hosts who made us feel so welcome. We honestly can’t wait to return, highly recommend!

We managed the get this booking very last minute and we weren’t disappointed in the slightest, the rooms were beautiful, so much space including the garden. It had everything we needed. We really loved the decor. But for us the hosts made the trip. So thoughtful and considerate, and despite our own lack of packing skills, kindly sorted us out, truely grateful, such a kind gesture. Really great communication and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout. Definitely looking to stay again!

this is a house we have stayed in for a few years now as its a home from home. We attend Crufts so need something near to the NEC and this is not far away the garden is secure which us great for us. driveway for easy parking new bathroom suite all rooms are clean the kitchen is well stocked always made to feel at home by the owners

We booked Ana's place very last minute, as we had some family visiting from abroad very last minute. Ana was so so great at making sure we had everything we needed, even with potential of last minute cancellation due to Heathrow airport closing down, she was so understanding and attentive. The house was absolutely gorgeous, it had everything we needed and we felt right at home. It really made the whole holiday 100x better as we were all able to get together, cook meals and sit down for a meal. The garden was also a good size for the dog and had plenty of room for the kids to play around in. Thanks again Ana! I definitely recommend staying here.

This was a fantastic location just a few minutes walk from the town centre, with supermarkets / pubs / restaurants all very close by. We were travelling with a large group with kids and having multiple beds per room and every room an ensuite was brilliant. The communal area was suitable to sit and enjoy a drink and dinner. The kitchen is rather small for a group of our size (13 people), but we made it work ok and it had everything we needed. Emma was a great host and was extremely responsive and easy to get hold of!

This was a beautiful, high end property. You wouldn’t think you were in the centre once you are there. The place was beautifully clean and the garden was enjoyed in the sunshine. It was great to have the speakers in the hot tub. Muhammed checked in on arrival and attended when we needed to access the fuse box. Overall a wonderful stay with great service. We would 100% stay again.

My friends and I stayed for a wedding and this was a perfect location to stay. Thank you to Gurm, who warmly greeted us when we arrived and showed us around the house. Everything we needed was provided and Gurm kindly recommended some local restaurants. Sadly we didn't have time to use the pool table in the games room, but it was a great set up with a tv there too (perfect for a premier league match and beers with some pals).
