My friend and I had a wonderful stay at this charming vintage house. The decor was delightful, with furnishings and cozy touches that made it feel truly like a beach house. The location was perfect for a peaceful getaway, with a nice yard, walking distance to bay, restaurants and bars - highly recommend Dockside and the Tiki Bar! We enjoyed spending each night on the screened in porch relaxing. We arrived on the heels of the end of Hurricane Helene and Erin was proactive in letting us know that water had gotten in one of the doors. Everything was dry by the time we arrived, however, we did notice a slight musty smell upon entering, which was most likely due to all the rain they had received. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms stocked, kitchen is large and well-stocked. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cottage for anyone looking for a quaint escape.

The Evening Breeze is a cozy and very quiet home nestled in the woods. Exactly as described in the listing. Would rent again if life brings us back to the area.

We got a combined two floor apartment (end unit so it was very private) with plenty of space for each of my friends to have their own beds. The back porch and patio were very private and had a beautiful view of the backyard. I would highly recommend this listing!

My family and I absolutely loved our stay! The place felt comfortable the neighborhood was pleasant. Brandon's kitchen was well-stocked with all the kitchen utensils needed for cooking and baking . The little touches, like having makeup remover wipes available, were really appreciated. And the view from the rooftop was simply amazing! Communication with Brandon was perfect. He was easy to reach and very responsive to any questions we had. The kids had a blast playing basketball across the street – thanks so much for making sure the ball was inflated, that was a lifesaver! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this place to others.

This place is perfect for a weekend getaway with the girls! It is 20 minutes away from touring the wineries and within minutes of Williamsburg shopping and spa recommendations. It is very cozy. You can fish the chickahominy or sit by the camp fire. The deck views are amazing and the wildlife is all around. Definitely returning!

We came here for a retirement celebration with our kids and grandkids. The house is amazing, very large and offered each of us places to gather for conversation and games, plus places to retreat when we needed some quiet. We visited Stafford Hall for their Christmastide event and for hunting shark teeth on the beach. Much fun for the kids. Highly recommend!

This home was beautiful, wonderful, and relaxing. The view from the house is so gorgeous and secluded. You really feel like you are on vacation. Of course our host was responsive and proactive. But as a busy mom with two little kids I have to highlight how particularly child friendly this home is! We stayed upstairs which has 2 bedrooms with a jack and Jill bath in between. My boys loved having two single beds at a height they could easily get into and I loved not worrying about them falling out of a gigantic bed. There were toys in the chest of their room with working batteries! Unreal! There was a mini table and chairs. Games and books spanned multiple ages and both my 4 yo and my 6 yo found games to play. My kids are sensitive to cold water (the little one turns blue!) and the heated pool was a HUGE hit. We never even made it to using the kayaks because the kids just wanted to be in the pool. There were even pool toys. I am running out of characters for this review! We will be back!

This airbnb was beautiful! It had lots of space and the area was really peaceful. There is a grocery store less than 10 mins away so we didn’t have to worry about buying groceries ahead of time for the weekend. The host was always ready to answer any questions we had. The hot tub was the main reason I booked this place and it did not disappoint. The host provided all the essentials we needed including some snacks and coffee! Would definitely book again!

Lovely rental. The listing was exactly as described. The host responded very quickly to any questions. It had everything we needed and I felt very at home. This is an amazing location we will definitely be coming back for more fun here in the summer. The hot tub felt hot and relaxing outside even though it was so cold. 5 stars.
