Very nice property on a lake. Very modern and well built cottage/house with a nice paved driveway right to the door. Saw a couple of dear passing through the yard during our stay, which was nice. Had one issue while we were there and a text response was quick. Very peacefully spot.

5 Stars – A Perfect Retreat! Red Horseshoe Retreat on Horseshoe Lake was exactly what I needed – peaceful, rejuvenating, and beautiful. From the moment we arrived, the views of the lake were stunning, especially while relaxing in the hot tub – absolute bliss! The lake house is cozy, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The beds were super comfy, and there were plenty of games to enjoy during our downtime. Lois and David are wonderful hosts – kind, responsive, and always making sure their guests feel welcome and cared for. This truly felt like a home away from home, and I left feeling refreshed in mind, body, and soul. I can’t wait to return!

Honestly, this place is gorgeous! I could have sat by the water for hours. But my family had too much fun catching up and playing games inside. Everything was perfect - clean and exactly as described. I can’t wait to go back.

Very clean & quaint. Has everything you need. Little covered porch with hot tub was a nice touch! Beautiful view. Shannon was always quick to respond with any questions. Large property and private. Loved the details in the cottage, great vibes!

Had a great stay over Valentine's weekend at this spot! We really enjoyed the spacious kitchen & den, the hot tub, and the beautiful frozen surroundings. If you're coming in winter, make sure your car is up to the task of scaling the hill on the way out. Winter tires are a must! I took a few attempts to get out, but Lisa was a huge help in getting us safely on our way.

First Class accommodations from First Class hosts. Beautiful, clean cabin in perfect location. Steve and Vicky were amazing hosts - highly recommend.

Jordan’s place was perfect. We were down for a wedding in the area and it was the perfect landing spot to rest. Quiet neighbours and such a beautiful view. Beds were so comfortable, house was spotless.

We had a pleasure staying at Jason's place. Almost all amenities were provided. Jason is so responsive and he let us check in sooner. The surrounding is so beautiful. do not miss kayaks! Thank you Jason!

Magical location perched right on the lake. Super private. Absolutely spotless. Kitchen very well stocked with all sorts of dishes, bowls, cooking utensils. Surprisingly large bathroom (and so many clean towels and face cloths) Host was super responsive. Wood stove kept the place today warm all weekend. Loved that the deck deck was entirely gated so we could let our dog out. everywhere on We plan to return!

We Had a family reunion “staycation”!! This Was a perfect spot. Open space for the play pen and baby toys! Beautiful view & yard. We brought our own groceries and stayed in. The kitchen was very workable and had all the kitchen tools we could have needed. The wood stove was such a relaxing mood setter. The outdoor hot tub was lovely! (2 ppl) The deck was perfect for enjoying the outdoors with babies! Host had loads of little fine touches. Washer & dryer worked great! Parking was good, right next to the door and no stairs needed. Felt right at home and very comfortable! This is a perfect location of longer stays!

We absolutely loved our weekend getaway at the cottage. The place was spotlessly clean and cozy and had all the amenities you could possibly need. The place is very private and we got to enjoy the kayaks and a lovely bonfire under the stars. The hosts are very accommodating, friendly and responsive. This is one of the nicest AirBnBs I have stayed at and we are already planning to come again next summer. Highly recommended!

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house. The property is absolutely stunning—immaculately landscaped, with a spacious lawn leading right to the lake and a lovely sandy beach. The grounds were ideal for families, with lots of room for the kids to run, play, and even ride their bikes on the hard surface areas. In the evenings, the adults enjoyed gathering around the fire pit—it was the perfect spot to unwind. Inside, the home was just right for our large family gathering. We had four couples and five little ones, and the space worked beautifully—comfortable, open, and thoughtfully laid out for both togetherness and relaxation. Caitlin was a fantastic host—so easy to communicate with, warm, and responsive. The whole experience felt more like being welcomed into someone’s home than staying in a typical rental. It was charming, cozy, and truly special. We’re already looking forward to the chance to return!

Echoing others - lovely stay! Everything you could think you need (and more!) recommend bringing slippers for the winter months to add to the cozy feeling. Loved it and would book again easily.

To say we were satisfied is an understatement. We most definitely will be booking again to utilize in the summer season. We rented this time to be closer to the venue holding my sons wedding, and having such a wonderful home and hosts made is so much easier on us ❤️

What a wonderful place to relax! Everything was perfect, from the fully stocked kitchen to the comfy patio lounge chairs & bed, the fire pit with lots of wood all chopped & ready to go and best of all the hot tub! Bonus was the visiting deer which were fun to feed using the supplied apples! Highly recommend this secluded cottage on the river if you’re looking for a quiet getaway! The cottage was exactly as described in the listing! We booked this cottage because it was so close to our daughter’s wedding but it ended up being a mini vacation as well! Thank you!

Blue Forest Shores is truly an amazing getaway for us and we would definitely come back when we’re in Nova Scotia again. We stayed at the Boat house which has beautiful view and is very private. Our hosts, Yaro, Savayda, and Wouter are extremely nice and genuine and we actually felt like visiting our family home. Thank you so much for your amazing hospitality and we will see you again!

An amazing and peaceful escape to the woods. The cabin is perfect with a beautiful deck and view. Has just the right amount of comfort while allowing you to enjoy nature. Tina and Graham are fantastic hosts, kind people, and take pride in their perfect cabin in the woods. Our dog was welcome and comfortable with lots of space to explore, they even loaned us their visibility vests and a dog bed! We will definitely be coming back.

Ashley’s place was so peaceful and just how we wanted to spend a few days over March break. The kids and us really loved the hot tub overlooking the lake and sitting under the stars in it was ultimate relaxation. Everything you need for your kitchen is there which was super handy. The place was pristine upon arrival and the furnishings were comfy and homey. The reclining leather sofa was the best spot to watch some Netflix. We definitely would love to come back in the summer!! Where to start!! Myself, husband, 9 year old son and Golden doodle stayed at Jodi’s home for 2 nights this past weekend. The home is incredible cozy, warm, inviting, as well as incredibly thoughtful. There is everything you need and more. Very pet friendly, lol there were 2 dog beds, toys and more. The fire pit is wonderful and well and the amazing dock on the prestige lake front. Very private. The screened in room is so wonderful, with the lovey table and lights! Fishing is great as well. The inside bedding and layout is perfect as well. Incredibly comfortable and clean! The kitchen,bathroom,and bedrooms and well equipped with anything needed. We hope to speak a full week next summer there with our family! Last but not least…..communication was amazing!
